The food options are minimal and all of our dishes tasted off, food was cold etc. management made up for it, hopefully it was just a one off. The kids love the games!
Clean washrooms. Great entertainment. Fantastic service.
Slow and unfriendly service
It was fun. It was expensive. The kids had a blast and the food was pretty good.
The only negative was:
We had 7 people in our family and we weren't allowed to sit together which was super weird. We were told that the government said that more than 6 people aren't allowed to sit together ... However, we have had no issues with this anywhere else. We regularly go out as a family.
The food was awful. Nothing looked fresh and we all got sick. It was my daughter’s birthday and they don’t do anything for you’
We were only 2 tables for dinner
We went as a family, with 3 generations, and we all had a great time. There was something to do for everyone. Bartender made a special drink for the birthday girl and all the staff were very accommodating. Drink prices are a little high but food tasted delicious.
Slow Service because they were understaffed, not because the staff weren't trying. Still frustrating when trying to order or pay.
The food was weird and gross though. Strangest nachos I've ever seen - a drizzle of that 7-11 space cheese on top of a mounded cone of tortilla chips with salsa, sour cream and guac dumped on top rather than served in separate dipping containers. The only other topping was a sprinkling of shredded lettuce. The falafels tasted like battery acid.
It's like a space alien was trying to replicate human food based on a brief description. Luckily there is a McDonalds across the street. A member of our party went across, grabbed us burgers and smuggled them in to us before the server even came back to take our order.
We had our sons birthday here as he loves all the games and he comes here quite often. It was the best birthday party in many years! staff were all so friendly and accommodating to our constant requests.
A HUGE SHOUT OUT TO NICKY our server, she was a shining star!
Excellent service! Server was fast getting our food and drinks, very accommodating! They were ok for us to bring the Birthday cake and our own balloons so definitely will come back and dine in again and book Big parties again soon as well
Good. Wasn't busy which was nice. Waitress was able to check in on us. Pricey but it was good.
Helpful service from the staff, wings were meh 😕
The food was decent however could have been warmer. I had the breakfast poutine and the fries and eggs were barley warm where there was no gravy when I got them. If it wasn’t for the gravy warming them up it would horrible.
I’ll never go there again worst service I have ever had!!!!! Never again
Had a great time with the family here, fun for everyone!
Nice place. great environment. A bit loud especially on the arcade side. But hey it’s to be expected
Was great. Good food and service was great!
Great upscale pub fare in a energetic environment (arcade). Relatively speaking, the Rec Room has a really strong menu that is well executed, the wait staff is super attentive and helpful. If you are looking for a fun sports bar type environment, this is a great place. Then give the arcade a shot.
Their website advertised they were airing the UFC fights and they did not so we left
Terrible food. We had a variety of dishes and they were all substandard. They even forgot to put cheese on a pizza! How does that even make it out of the kitchen to a table??
Excellent server, however. Pity she has to share her tips with the kitchen.
Kids enjoyed the arcade.
Due to the quality of the food, I wouldn’t recommend it or go back.
Food was so bad my wife actually had to go to the washrooms and get sick. We had to leave early and get her home. We will go back to play games but never to eat. Hard to believe that a place this popular has such bad food.
Poor dining experience, would not go back for the food - but the arcade was nice.
A great fun time! So much going and sometimes a tad busy but overall a nice place to have a date night with the family or friends.
The Rec Room has a lot going for it, tons of great arcade games and a fun atmosphere. Where it fails is consistency. We've been there a few times now and each time the food was either good or terrible. Somehow they can't make a burger without drying it into beef jerky, but can cook an ok steak. Hopefully this improves or when we go we'll just eat elsewhere before we play games.
I would recommend Rec Room, however not the restaurant three10. We came at opening and our food took an hour and was cold. Disappointing for Xmas Eve!
Food was good, drinks a little pricey, the games were pretty decent several didn’t work but were operational, the staff were very helpful and answered any questions
The service was fantastic! Our server was Desiree and she was phenomenal- friendly, personable, professional. The food was also of great quality.
Didn’t like the fact 18 year olds were doing shots and beer chasers right next to my daughters aged 8 and 4.
Food was good and not a lot of noise. Service was a little slow but not horrible.
Went for my daughter's birthday party. We had an excellent time.
Stefan was great, our server. Food was pretty good but we had to wait a little for one of the burgers. Overall its a great place to have a company outing and the games are a lot of fun
I would recommend the Rec Room itself, but like others, I would say eat before you get there. We booked a couple of tables for a big group and were not informed that our reservation was only for 2 hours until we had arrived (it should really be on the website). We wanted to wait until more people had arrived (traffic was not great so people were playing games while we waited) before being seated, but the host was getting incredibly pushy and rude because they really needed our tables if we weren't going to use them (the place was three-quarters empty and no one else sat in our tables the entire time we were there. I have Celiac so I was hoping that one of the few items on the menu labeled "gluten-free" would be ok, but then was informed that these actually did contain gluten and I couldn't have the tofu that was supposed to come with my rice bowl. It was nice that someone from the kitchen came out to tell me that, but unfortunate that there really weren't any gluten-free options. The food did come out quite quickly and everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals and drinks. It is a lovely looking restaurant, but the overall experience was not great.
Had a reservation for Sunday but all games were out of service. So, rescheduled reservation for Monday and Hostess had the nerve to tell me that our party could not be seated at 4:55. We had to wait until 5 pm. Restaurant was basically empty but sure, I mean we only just waited 24 hours. Ordered Apps and mains and ALL came out at the same time after a long wait. Lots of apologies from server but no concessions. Nachos with fake cheese sauce for $15??? Clearly you don't come here for the food or the service and clearly they don't care about the quality of either. So long as your kiddies are spending your money on the games
Family get together
Loud and chaotic but the food was tasty. Our server mess up a couple of our orders so a few people at our table didn’t get food at all. They told us that we didn’t order anything, that’s why it didn’t come out and then another server said that they had burned our food and that’s why it didn’t come out. There’s a 2.5 hour time limit on the table apparently so we weren’t even allowed to stay and watch the whole flames game, very disappointed in that considering we spent a good chunk of money to be there (games and food).
Food need to be improved. It was cold and not good at all.
Servíce also need improvement.
I would say go to the rec room for the games
However they change the menu increased prices. Little to nothing that kids would eat. 21.00 for 12 wings. Very over priced. Awesome popcorn. Save your food money eat elsewhere
. We have been going to rec room regularly since it opened .
This is our second time, and the wait time again was ridiculously long!
Reserved a table for 7. At arrival we waited about 20 mins for someone to come take our drink order. Then about another 10 for the drinks and another 10 to order. After ordering and asking for a ice tea for someone twice it never came. Food took about 30 mins to be ready and when it was brought out 4 plates were brought out and 2 didn’t come out because the salad on them wasn’t finished. Seems like a strange item to not be finished. Waited about 5 mins for the last two dishes. At the end of dinner the waitress finally came out and brought the ice tea that was asked for at the start of the meal. Really bad service. Shouldn’t take 2 hours for dinner
Food is ok, nothing amazing but tastes good. Service was a bit slow and it took forever to get the servers attention. Prices are ok specially for a large party, kids love the arcade games the best.
First time and was pleasantly surprised at everything from the food, service to the games
