Lively and laid-back, The Ready Cantina at Moxy East Village is a rooftop escape made for after-work hangs, weekend meetups, and spontaneous nights out—with bold, south-of-the-border flavors to match the energy. Bright and colorful with playlists that set the vibe, the rooftop showcases skyline views and a fully retractable glass roof that opens in warm weather and keeps the energy buzzing when it’s covered. It’s the perfect place for casual Mexican-inspired bites, frozen drinks, and cocktails with friends.

We are currently accepting reservations up to 30 days in advance but walk-ins are welcome pending availability.

Such a disappointment, we got overcharged then our bill got charged twice to my card. Now in the process of trying to get back the money from the 2nd charge. Manager very rude and unapologetic about double charging. Have had to cancel my card. Tourists be aware

I rarely leave bad reviews, but this place absolutely deserves it. I booked my birthday celebration here, expecting a good night with friends. The staff completely ruined it. My friends arrived at 10:28 PM — two minutes before the posted last entry time of 10:30 PM — and were rudely denied entry. When I politely explained it was my actual birthday and asked if they could make an exception, the staff member didn’t just say no — he shouted at me in front of everyone and even threatened to kick me out. I was genuinely shocked by how aggressive and unprofessional he was. It was so bad I started to have a panic attacked to which the bouncer only shouted more. This was supposed to be a special night, and instead it turned into the worst dining/bar experience I’ve ever had. I would never recommend this place to anyone. If you're looking for a venue with basic courtesy or respect for customers, look elsewhere. Total disappointment.

Was very unhappy with my experience at this venue. We made a reservation for 2 hours a month ago for a party of 10 with the deposit fee and was told less than 24 hours before they could no longer honor our RSVP. Called to speak with someone about this issue and was told I could only show up earlier, no refund. Ridiculous and will never be coming back here - the staff was unhelpful over the phone and felt that they could care less about our issue. This venue had no problem screwing us over the day before. Paid the deposit for 2 hours and only got to stay for 45 minutes.

The food at this bar was very good. It seemed pretty busy so the service was a little delayed but I completely understand that. The DJ/music was quite loud to the point that I could not hear my friends while we were at the table. Nobody was dancing and it wasn’t a dancing vibe on a Wednesday at 6PM so I’m not sure the music needed to be that loud in my opinion.

Such a fun vibe! The nachos were spicy and delicious, the carne asada taco is SO good, and the hibiscus margaritas were refreshing. The DJ was on point too- will definitely be coming back

We went to the ready rooftop bar as part of a hens party. It was fabulous. Great drinks, great ambiance and great service. Would recommend!
