   We chose this restaurant specifically because we wanted fresh good quality sea food. We found that what was offered surpassed our expectations. The crab salad was very copious and well presented with white and brown meat from the crustacean. Perfect! The monkfish was deliciously fresh and the scallops, again with full orange and white parts, cooked in a delectable buttery sauce. Even the water was soft and the Spanish rosé was a good match for the meal. The booking on line was easy. Michelle, who looked after us, was delightful. It was an amazing start of our weekend in St Ives.

   We started with seafood chowder and scallop. Very hearty soup with plenty of nice fish. The scallops were quite basic, not much flavour. Not bad, just not special as were the other dishes. For mains we had the fish curry and linguini. My wife asked to tomato sauce instead of cream for her linguini dish, and whatever they substituted was amazing flavour. Good variety of choice on the menu. Had a couple of cocktails too, with a generous pour and tasty. Severs were nice and it was a good relaxed atmosphere. I would come again.

   Lovely small restaurant with helpful, friendly and professional staff and excellent food. Small - almost a cafe feel rather than a restaurant, but a very good find. Highly recommended.

   I’ve been before and loved it, but this time I took my Canadian cousins. Our meal was perfect and they thoroughly enjoyed their fish and chips. It was one cousin’s birthday and I mentioned this when I did the online table booking, however although they could see we were celebrating his birthday, no one did anything special to make his birthday more enjoyable. Why do you ask if we are celebrating a special event if you don’t acknowledge it? We came away feeling disappointed, but they still enjoyed their evening with you.
