They were so great about helping me with my fiancé’s bday. The printed Happy Birthday on the menu and brought the most delicious cupcake at the end of the meal. It was all super classy and we loved it!

The cocktails never fail to impress. This was our third time at The Raymond and every drink is so creative, thoughtfully crafted, and delicious. The food quality is just as spectacular. Our meals were satisfying, delicious, and each contained unexpected but welcome surprise taste elements. The staff is kind, helpful, and personable. All in all, this is likely my favorite place to eat (and drink) in Pasadena.

Had a wonderful experience at The Raymond. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a cheerful “Happy Anniversary” then seated with an anniversary menu and complimentary champagne. The food has generous portions and was delicious! The ambience, including music was very romantic.

We’ve been here twice. The first time, the service and food were great. Today, the hostess was snooty and incompetent, making us wait though we had a reservation and the place was half empty, and then deciding that we could eat at the table where we were waiting. Why make us feel so unwelcome? The rest of the service was catch as catch can, no one paying much attention. Eggs Benedict and carrot cake were good, chilequiles were vaguely ok, omelette was nothing special. I doubt there will be a third visit. The place is too expensive and inconvenient for such poor service and mediocre food to be worth it.

Great dining experience. Beautiful atmosphere, great food, outstanding service. This was an anniversary celebration. We were asked upon entering the restaurant if this might be a special occasion visit. We told them that we were celebrating our 49th anniversary. As soon as we were seated two glasses of champagne were waiting. Very classy, and much appreciated. My wife's steak was cooked to perfection, and my poke and octopus was delicious. The price was quite reasonable. We'll be back soon!

A wonderful week day night for our 50yr anniversary. Thank you for making it special with the personalized menus, attentive service and quiet booth. The food was even better than we last remembered and the wine was divine! (Don’t ever lose the Octopus Tostaditos appetizer!)

We had driven by many times and were excited to try it. The timing of our meal was off, I did not enjoy my drink very much, and overall I felt the price points were too high for our experience. The poke was just okay and my vodka martini had way too much vermouth. The indoor dining room was very cool and comfortable and the outdoor dining area, although slightly loud, had a beautiful chandelier. I saw that theg do private events and I thought it would be beautiful for a private dinner.

My husband & I came here for our anniversary. First of all, the menu had Happy Anniversary printed on it, which was a nice touch. The service was amazing, very attentive and friendly. The food could not have been better! My husband had sea bass and I had rib eye steak. Both dishes were perfectly prepared and presented. The outdoor patio was lovely and relaxed. We will be back here for sure!

Terrific brunch. Would give food 5 stars except toast was grilled, not toasted, and was stone cold. But I'd definitely go back again - great place and people!

A few barks can happen of course, but if it goes on for a period of time we do alert the guest that they are disrupting other patrons. I apologize as it seems this did not happen. This restaurant has gone downhill unfortunately. The ambience is mediocre at best and service is lacking too. They wanted us to order cocktails, appetizers, and entrees all at the same time but didn’t stagger the courses well. We received our appetizers then 5 minutes later, the entrees arrived. My sister politely requested they be returned to the kitchen since we had barely started on the appetizers. We really felt like we were being rushed. It was a Tuesday evening and the restaurant wasn’t busy. But a dining experience should never feel rushed. Unfortunately, we will never be returning. Sad, I remember this place being so cute and quaint.
