We had an amazing brunch at The Raymond, I took my mom and soon to be mother in law and we received the best service. Everything was delicious, the chilaquiles, pancakes, breakfast potatoes, mimosas, everything. Our waiter was exceptional, and even allowed us to sit at the most private table in it's own corner away from the crowd which made us all feel a lot safer taking off our masks. This is a beautiful restaurant and they do everything well, can't wait to come here again when this lockdown is over!

Went here for a birthday. It was a PERFECT night! Food and service were impeccable. Ambiance was beautiful. Thank you so much to our server, you absolutely made our night.

I attended a lunch at the Raymond just before the current shut down for COVID. It was delightful -- brunch on Saturday. Food was quite good and the people were terrific.

They were incredibly rude

Very appropriate to the current pandemic with protective gear. The food, as always, was wonderful and tasty. The open patio was festively decorated for the holidays.

Place was nice, had hard chairs and light bulbs out on the patio. Experience was not worth the value, but it has a very secluded dining area, but we could smell marijuana being smoked from the lot next door and were offered an apology by the waiter. I won’t be returning, unfortunately.

The Raymond offered us a most safe outdoor dining environment during Covid and for that we were grateful. The cocktails are inventive and well executed. The wine list, Covid Limited and not very attractive even for a wine-o. The food menu was again, limited, but was diverse and tasty if not for touch over-seasoned. The bottom line, with the rest of LA County dining shut down this represents one of the best Pasadena has to offer.

The street noise level in the patio area in which we sat was very load.

We love the Raymond! They have the best patios for dining! Their food is always delicious, service is excellent! All of their staff are wearing mask, face shield and gloves, and their host will check your temperature during check in! Staff are very welcoming and attentive. Thank you, Raymond! Xoxo

The food was okay. I would ho again, but this time instead of dinner I will try brunch.

Service was great, food and drink were excellent! The patio is spacious and tables are separated well - felt very comfortable and safe. Wonderful brunch!

Love this place, had mostly appetizers and drinks. One of the servers spilled a bit of my specialty drink on his hands and table. I made a remark to see if he would put that on the house and didn't. I didn't think it would be a huge request based on what happened. Otherwise loved everything.

The service really needs to be improve here. First of all , we were here for birthday. I do call ahead of time to mentions we are here for celebrating birthday and planning to give her a surprises. They said will have a complimentary dessert for her. However, when we ask for dessert menu the server just leave it on the table without explain the dessert menu . We end up ordered a dessert but it's came up with no candle and no complimentary dessert . Ending up we have to ask the server for the candle and very disappointing was the server doesn't even know we are celebrating birthday here!

We went for my friend’s birthday. The Ambiance was wonderful. The patio was spacious and open and well shaded from the hot sun. The food was incredible. I will come back for dinner!

It was a real disappointment ...sorry I spent money is a place that really didn't care if we were there.

The food was great but the place feels "short-staffed" - our waiter never came by unless we raised our hand and our voice to get his attention. I expect more from this restaurant. The poor service really took away our experience. Hope The Raymond will address this issue because we really enjoyed the food, just wish we had better services.

Service was abysmal. So much so that I will NEVER return. I suggest you avoid as well unless you’re ok with being ignored whilst other tables are receiving service.

Experience and food was great, we tried the fixed menu only complaint was the salmon skin chip was soft and inedible.

We went for brunch and everything was wonderful! I was a bit concerned about how the patio area would look and feel but in terms of experience it was just perfect. There is a huge fireplace right in the center. Just gorgeous! The service was attentive and the food was delicious.

It was nice to have a wonderful meal with my family. It was outdoors but they had heaters warming the space. Great!!!!

Great dinner

The dinner menu was way over priced for such small portions. We enjoy going there for brunch but we will never go back for dinner.

The Raymond has always been one of our favorites for special meals. For our anniversary dinner, we had the tasting menu at the Raymond. Every bite was fabulous. All of the diners are seated on the patios so you feel very safe dining out. The service was wonderful and the food was absolutely amazing. We would highly recommend The Raymond for any night out.

We had the tasting menu and wine pairing so I can't comment on the regular menu. The tasting menu was GREAT and I think it was a very good value. They were bringing out the food too quickly at first but once we made a comment to slow it down. It was perfect. Great service, great food,

We were there for Paul Shoemaker’s (Michelin star chef) tasting menu as a happy coincidence. The restaurant is normally stellar regardless. Love the ambience and the drinks are amazing. Food is delicious.

I came to this restaurant from OC just for Paul Shoemaker. The food was flawless as usual. I did not give full stars as the service was subpar. The pricing should reflect many things, food pricing, labor, supplies rent, taxes, competition, market changes, theft, etc. What it also indicates is customer service and wait staff experience. For an almost $350 bill for an evening of tastings, the water glasses should be full and not having to ask 2 different people for more. The tasting experience should be timed better. Sometimes the drinks would fly out at once, sometimes the food would pile up. Communication is key! I hope for a better experience with the wait staff being more attentive and high-end experience.

The Raymond is unique and historical. Food as good, but a bit salty. The mimosas were delightful.

The best chicken curry in town. The very large covered patio was a bonus, as the weather was threatening rain. The service was perfect.
