   We sat inside. Food was mediocre at best. I heard brunch was good and outside is a vibe. Regular diner wasn’t the one

   Sea bass and mushroom truffle pasta were excellent, highly recommend both. The dark chocolate pudding for dessert also hit the spot. Excellent dinner, would come back!

   We love The Raymond and always enjoy our time there. The food is great, the ambiance is perfect for a nice day, and the people are friendly and kind. Our only challenge and ongoing issue is that the service is regularly slow. It’s not bad, just slow, and it’s been consistently this way on many occasions for us.

   Food and service was great! The only complaint is the location they sat us in outdoor patio was next to valet parking. Valet backed the cars into parking spots and when they started the cars, the carbon dioxide from exhaust came directly into patio area where we were seated! The smell of exhaust was terrible! They should have parked cars head-in so the exhaust would be away from patio.

   Jeanette provided great, attentive service. Food was good…bread tray was excellent, as well as benedict’s, avocado toast and chilaquiles . Potatoes were burnt and too crispy.

   Fantastic that a wonderful place has not only kept its quality, class, exceptional service, ambiance, and character commensurate with its stated ancestry (the original Raymond Hotel) for over 15 years now - it is embodied by the next generation bringing it forward for us all to enjoy!    Very cool restaurant tucked away in what feels like a hidden spot. Dining is set up in a house that was converted but it still very much has that house feel which is fun and unique. The service is five star and the food is delicious. We had a reservation and there was no waiting for seating. Food, drinks, after dinner coffee and dessert were all served quickly without the typical long delays you often get at upscale restaurants. The only negative for me is that there’s no separate waiting area before you get seated. You walk in the house and you’re right in the middle of one of the rooms with people seated to eat, so for the short time after you arrive before you’re seated it feels like you’re bugging the people seated in that first room. However this visit when we were seated our table was in that room and I will say that not once was I distracted or iterated by people arriving… so it doesn’t actually hurt the dining experience for those tables… it just feels a little awkward for the arriving diners. Personally I still wish they figured out an outside staging area for the short wait before you’re seated to eliminate this. I’ve been here three times always in a large family group. Tonight we were a party of 9 and like I said everything was perfect. That’s been true every time so far. However I think this place would also be a very nice upscale date night too. So I think it would be hard to go wrong here. Definitely highly recommend.

   Excellent. The service and food were very good! (String beans could have been cooked more). We’ll be back!

    It was my first time at the restaurant. I’ve wanted to go and it didn’t disappoint at all!! My stash was delicious and the Seabass was also perfect! It was just shortly on the loud side at times. But I’ll definitely be back when it warms up to experiences the fire pit!
