Hate to say it but I was disappointed with the burger. It was always my favorite.. but it was over cooked and the bun wasn’t fresh.
We had a party of four, two of the fish plates were over cooked. One was sent back. He didn't get his replacement dish until the three of us completed our meals. Once the bill came we asked the manager if they were going to adjust the bill due to the inconvenience. He said no, you ate the second dish didn't you. Then he said we don't do that here and walked away. Very poor attitude. You would think a place like this and you spend over $250 for dinner they would adjust the bill.
The Ravenous Pig is really like no other restaurant. If you are a foodie, this place is a MUST.
The decor of the restaurant is perfect. It has an open kitchen where you see the chefs creating their masterpieces.
The service is impeccable! Suzi wasVery attentive and interactive with my 8 year old son.
The food is beyond delicious and so fresh!
We went for Mother's Day and Birthdays. They gave me a free glass of champagne and gave the birthday boys each a free desert. Panna Cotta which was absolutely to die for! I wanted more and more!
You will not be disappointed when you visit here!
Great brunch offerings, cozy rustic environment, great service, good cocktail list, draft list is strictly Cask & Larder beers brewed onsite.
We had an amazing Mother’s Day Brunch! The service was excellent and the food was superb as usual. This is one of our favorite restaurants and we don’t dine out as often with a young baby. It was a great experience with our 2 year old as well. Ravenous Pig remains at the top of our favorites list!! Thank you!!!
Phil was our server and he was outstanding! He recommended the perfect cocktails, the perfect food, and the perfect wines! We had the perfect mother’s day!
Anniversary dinner that was perfect
Nice place with great drinks and unique menu
Amazing place with great food. Nice place for special occasions. Attentive service and felt welcomed when we first walked in.
James Beard 2016 Award Winner and we were excited. Everything was going great, ambiance, service, even salad portion. However entrée was another story. My wife & I always get our own salad and share an entrée. We ordered the Tile fish and when the entrée was presented, it weighed no more than 2 ounces each which means that the normal entrée (not shared) was approximately 4 oz. Even though it was cooked to perfection with phenomenal taste, 4 oz. is an insulting serving regardless. Our experience has been an 8oz serving with sides. Speaking of sides, there were 2 delicious but small (acorn size) dumplings of sorts, that's all. I suggest that the servers advise guests that are sharing that the servings are "very small plate portions". To be clear, the other couple joining us experienced the same in sharing their entrée. Needless to say, we left disappointed and hungry.
Enjoyed the food & dining experience, thank you, will dine again.
Great Service, Amazing brunch. Went the extra effort to take care of us on our special occasion. Probably the best over all experience I've had in Northern Florida in many years.
Great food !!! Wish they would serve some normal bottled beer (Stella? Heineken ?). This is an expensive place but the food is great !!
We had a wonderful experience at the Ravenous Pig celebrating my brothers graduation. The food was outstanding and the service was wonderful. Our server was engaged and attentive. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Orlando.
Good food. No happy hour - they end it at 5pm.
Nice place but really lacking the happy hour.
Amazing food in a pleasant environment! Attentive service. Try the sausages from the house, they are great!
Awesome, as always. Drinks were amazing; had yellow grouper and steak entrees. Both were phenomenal. Wait staff (Adam) was on point with recommendations and attentive enough without interrupting conversation.
We always try to visit The Ravenous Pig when we are in the area. Their attention to quality and detail is equal to what we experience in fine restaurants in New York, Chicago, and L.A., but in a relaxed atmosphere. One this visit we especially liked our fish entrees. One was tilefish with two sauces, rock shrimp, pickled ramps, and a few browned gnocchi. My husband had grouper which was served with lima bean fitters. Both cooked perfectly and very satisfying. The food is inventive and cocktails first rate. Book ahead!
We like the Ravenous Pig. Liked the older location more for ambience though. The service was excellent and so was the food.
Slow service ,waiter unattentive, Resturant at time had very few customers , burger came out raw but after an hour of being there lost the appetite to stomach waiting for another one no apology from service waiter or offer a refund such a dissatisfaction for we travelled 2 hours to dine will know better than to come back
From the wait and bar staff to the kitchen, the team here always does an amazing job.
Our first visit here, we really liked everything we ordered. We'll be back.
We celebrated my boyfriend's birthday at The Ravenous Pig and couldn't have picked a better restaurant! The old fashioned with candied bacon was delicious, and all of the food (steak tartare; English pea ravioli; steak frites with truffle fries) was perfectly prepared. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable, recommending me a glass of wine that I loved. Can't wait to go back!
We went there for my husband’s birthday. We had a great table, great service, and a great meal. My husband said he has never had such a good steak in his life! The menu even had a “Happy Birthday” message on it!
While sitting in the bar my husband ordered an Old Fashioned with candied bacon served on side; the bartender served caramel corn in a tin cup- it’s little touches like these that make the place really stand out as someplace special. It’s all in the details!! Thank you so much! We’ll be back:)
We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and a few small gestures that RP did were much appreciated. Having “Happy Anniversary” printed on our menus, and a small extra dessert were a surprise and made the night even more memorable!
This was our first time here. Amazing food and drinks. We will definitely be back again.
kinda disappointing. a lot of the dishes were a good effort , but really didn't make sense to me.
Very original food - and very delicious. I had fish (grilled Pompano), and my husband clams with linguini and lamb bacon. He said his was very garlicky, which is not my favorite flavor, but said it was delicious. My fish was very good, served with a crunchy skin, and grilled vegetables. They have some fun cocktails and good microbrews.
The Ravenous Pig was an interesting mix of strong points and disappointments. The beer selection was great and the gin and tonic on tap was dangerously delicious. The happy hour offerings were inviting and reasonably priced. The service by both the bartender and the waiter were first rate, pleasant, informative, attentive but not pushy or intrusive. We ordered the cheese board which I would definitely recommend. On the flip side the NY strip looked fabulous but had almost no flavor and the grilled pompano was tasty but not "special" given the $32 price. We had a very nice meal and would return but probably for the happy hour offerings versus the full menu.
Excellent as always. Charcuterie is so very good. Bacon infused old fashioned is a must have.
Good but we checked in and said we had open table reservation and restaurant did not check us in so I received yet another irritating email demanding to know why I was a no show. About to delete open table account as this was second time in a month this happened.
Shrimp and grits, cocktails and biscuits and gravy were a force to be reckoned with- as always!! My boyfriend got a Spanish shrimp dish (chicarana or something lol) and he did not enjoy it. This is literally the first thing we’ve ever had from here that we weren’t obsessed with! Still giving them 5 stars though because this dish still beats out anything else anywhere else...
Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Waitress was very unimpressive. Two wrong orders and seemed annoyed. Management was awesome when they found out. Very apologetic and offered a gift card. Think it is a great place it was just an off night for the waitress.
Used to be more fun and more attentive in the old location. Seems like they hit it big, and they are slipping. Still good, not great anymore.
The scallops were great!
Now this place is more then something else. First they love to play with meat. Then they have a brick oven for their breads. They also have their own brewery in house. Oh yea they have two yes two of the best slicers in the world. I found this place just cruising the pages of Yelp Orlando. On my first visit I was so impressed with the slicer and their found love of my favorite meat Pork. I went here 3 times in the first week I was in town. They do everything right. Their charcuterie program is wow. The owners of the pig is hooked up with their neighbor Swine n sons. They have the chamber and the chefs at the pig make the meats. The wife and I have thoroughly enjoyed bunch a couple of times and I have brought several co workers and a boss here. I do like their dry aged steaks, their rabbit raviolis are almost beyond words. They know how to do chicken and waffles and when I got their BLTE for brunch last weekend I loved their thick cut pork lion. It was cured and cooked perfectly and had some jam up flavors. You can't leave without trying one of their house made play on churros they call pig tails. They also make some mean flan with house granola. I just really love this place and look forward to returning again and again.
Finally tried The Ravenous Pig after so many people told me I was missing out; and they were right! Dinner menu is limited but has some great options. My steak was absolutely perfect. Service was excellent and they have an awesome wine list. Will definitely go back again. Highly recommend!
We have been to the previous location for lunch and found it exceptional. However this time we went for dinner & was extremely disappointed. 3 of the 4 dishes were subpar and pricey for the amount on the plate - in particular; the diver scallops entree consisted of 3 small scallops for $32. In addition we had to ask our waitress 3 times to check on something and the restaurant at that time had only 1 or 2 other tables seated. Will not be returning.
