First things first: this is the absolute best date spot in Orlando. I reserved a table for two through open table. We arrived an hour early and had happy hour drinks and an appetizer in the tap room until our reservation. We were allowed to continue our drinks for dinner. With the reservation I noted that this was a birthday dinner and we were sat with special birthday menus with “happy birthday” across the top. We spilt a salad and then had two amazingly delicious entrees. For desert I convinced my girlfriend (the birthday girl) to some famous pig tails and we were both surprised to a special birthday honey and citrus panna cotta. Jack O was our server and was outstanding. Overall we were both very impressed and I thank the Ravenous Pig staff for making her birthday as special as possible. I’ve been her before and have been impressed but this visit was beyond expectation. I will be sure to return very soon and will make this our only birthday dinner spot.
Always top notch!
The Ravenous Pig continues to impress every time we go. They were very inviting for our anniversary dinner. This is the best restaurant in Orlando.
My lobster was very chewy. Small portions.
I came here with my girlfriend to celebrate our anniversary and couldn’t have picked a better spot. This was my first time eating here and went with the pub burger. It was one of the best burgers I have ever had! They also had a good selection of cocktails and beers. Our server even comped us a dessert for our anniversary and it was amazing! They even gave us menus that said “Happy Anniversary!” on them. The atmosphere was spot on for our occasion as well. We will be back again in the near future!
The redesign of the new space is awkward. The food is pretentious and buried in heavy, rich, ingredients. The best thing on the menu is the charcuterie since they let the ingredients shine on their own.
Great Independence day lunch at the RP. The roast pig BBQ plate was a great choice - a couple of ribs, some pulled pork, cornbread, etc. which I washed down with a local (FL west coast) amber ale. For an appetizer we shared the roasted oysters, which were perfectly done in a fabulous butter sauce that we mopped up with the crispy bread it came with.
Must have been a serious off night. Our server was never around. Took forever to get greeted. Took forever for him to come back to us to take our order. Never came back after we ordered, but walked by us at least 10 times. Never once came to check on us to see if we needed anything. We were literally out of water, out of cocktails, and no food on our plates. He would walk by us and not even stop to clear our table or check on us. It was almost as if the other servers knew he was a bad server and refused to help him so he could sink himself. I had to literally stop him in his tracks to tell him we needed our check and he almost acted shocked. And still left everything on the table! The restaurant wasn't even busy, maybe 5 tables tops.
As for the food, we ordered an appetizer, which the food runner literally lobbed on the table and walked away. My grouper was the smallest piece of fish I had ever been served, especially for $33 and it wasn't even warm, let alone hot. My friend's burger was supposed to come with truffle fries, and they def were not.
We left hungry and sad that this was the level of service we received from one of Orlando's most talked about restaurants.
4 of us went Saturday. Our first visit to this restaurant. 2 ordered the Bento Box, with a small slider, cookie, watermelon gazpacho and a tomato cucumber salad. The slider was god, the cookie great, but the gazpacho was inedible. Tasted like oil. The salad was ok. For the price, the quality was lacking...didn’t anybody taste the soup before serving it? And the portions were small on the bento box. The other 2 had the burger and fries. This selection was very good. The fries I think were the star of the meal for all 4 of us.
Food was delicious! Menu is adventurous. We loved that they have a seasonal menu using Florida ingredients. Cocktails were hand crafted and beer is brewed on site. Server was attentive and very helpful with menu suggestions. Definitely James Beard worthy restaurant!
Love this place always.
Service was outstanding. Every encounter with wait staff was exceptional. Food was good
Another wonderful meal.
Great restaurant. Took extended family for dinner. Service was absolutely wonderful and the food was perfect. We will be back!!!!
Oh, that pasta! Rich, toothsome and perfect with the tender meat and mushrooms. Hubby's perfectly cooked medium rare pub burger was elevated by the blue cheese, onions and a tasty bun. Our server was spot on with a beer recommendation and hints on keeping the sauce for the pigtails dessert off our clothes! We can't stop talking about the experience.
Fantastic food and creative menu. Definitely if in town for a few days. Cocktails and wine selection are superb. Portions are generous.
You can tell that the kitchen, the wait staff and who created the Bite30 menu have just stopped caring. The light that once shone brightly has significantly dimmed. It's a shame that they're relying on the name alone, but after time, it just won't cut it anymore. Best of luck, hope the staff finds their passion again, because it certainly wasn't there when we dined.
One of my top 20 restaurants. Our server was excellent. Everything was excellent. I live out of town but this will be my first stop when I’m back in Orlando!
Food was amazing!
So good as always! The old fashioned was perfect. The wreckfish and bread board were on point!
Perfect. So good. Everything well prepared and great flavors!
It was good, not a raving fan
This our second visit. Our first visit everything was wonderful. This time my salad wasn’t as good, my lobster tail was tough and the veggies were a little too strange for my taste.
We requested and received a table in the bar section. Beautiful wood bar! I had to try the Gin & Tonic On Tap and it was wonderful. We both had the specialty hamburger; it was done perfectly with big chunks of bleu cheese on a tasty bun. I had the succotash which I hated as a child, but found it delicious.
The food, beer and service were very good! It was Father's Day and even as busy as it was our server and other staff were very attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant. My only request would be to include more vegetarian and/or pescetarian options, aside from just eating a salad. Or at the very least ways to modify the existing (ie removing the meat portion) menu options to be vegetarian. For the day we went to brunch I had one vegetarian option to choose from (hummus flat bread) and my Husband had one pescetarian option to choose from (shrimp tacos). Both were very good but a variety might be helpful. I would still go back but would call ahead prior to going to ensure there are options for us.
With so many great restaurants in Winter Park, you really need to be outstanding to succeed. This is one of those outstanding restaurants. This is an expensive place, but so worth it. But if you are going to splurge, you might as well do it in a splurge-worthy place.
I was there for brunch, Father's Day. It was very busy, but we got our table exactly when the reservation stated. The staff was efficient and friendly, and best of all, not intrusive.
There were three of us and we chose to share everything so as to have the a taste of different plates. Drinks from the bar were AWESOME. Our server guided us and it was a success. FYI, if you just want the basic, the Old Fashioned is supreme.
We shared the shrimp Tacos, which were so good! All the flavors were balanced. I would make a meal out of those alone. The oysters, while good, were on the small side, so that was the one disappointment.
The Southern Bahn Mi was so delicious. We especially like the the collard greens kimchi, so delicious. The Ravenous Pub Burger was perfectly done. Again a well balanced dish, I would order this anytime, anywhere. The Summer Ribs, were a hit for my eating partners, but a little too smoky for my taste. Having said that, it came with kimchi, frisee, peaches, pickled ramps, red onion, pistachio that I truly enjoyed.
I would recommend making reservations, and just come in and enjoy the lovely ambiance and amazing food.
Went for brunch on Father's Day with a group of 9. Wow! Great food, great service (Niko) and the beer and cocktails were fantastic. Just a great experience overall. Can't wait to go for dinner!
Amazing food. Good options and very fresh. Such a gem of a find. We will definitely go back!!
Excellent brunch! Slimmer menu and smaller portions but you’re coming here for the taste and get it. Great drinks too!
Great anniversary celebration
We were a group of fiends and the most of us ordered from the bite 30 menu that only feature 2 options for appetizers, 2 options for entre and 2 options for dessert. The wait between the appetizers and the entre was over 1 hour. The pasta dish was extremely small and didn’t have crab like advertised in the menu. It had this Intense flavor of capers and acid olives. I returned the dish and went with the only other option, the chicken, I tasted the chicken and it was very salty so I returned that dish as well
I wasn’t offered any other option and at the end the manage Aubrey was insisting that the chef didn’t think the chicken was too salty and that I had to pay for the dish . This manager was unprofessional and disrespectful towards all of us after spending nearly $500 for our diners and drinks.
I have always been pleased with this restaurant and honestly I’ve never witness a restaurant manager act so poorly. She ruined our night and all for one dish. Shame on her, she shouldn’t be working in that position at ANY restaurant .
We had a wonderful dinner in a quiet new area! The food was great, the service top notch and the surroundings lovely!
The food was excellent, but what made our experience memorable was the recognition of our Anniversary (51st) and the personal interest that our server (Susie) took to make our evening one of our favorite Anniversary dining experiences. Thinking we may celebrate our 52nd at the Ravenous Pig!
As always the food is perfectly made and the service is excellent. Its the restaurant I bring people to when they are coming in from out of town. It Never disappoints
Went for a dinner out of the house with the wifey. We were in no rush so we ordered drinks and a few appetizers. When the time came for dinner I asked about 2 options and was told no question, the pork chop was the way to go. It was awesome. My wife had a crab pasta meal which was loaded with crab meat. We had a great relaxing night with great food and drinks.
We enjoyed the food an the service was fantastic! What a great place for a special occasion.
It was amazing as usual!!
Great lunch for an employee leaving the company
The menu is amazing. The chef went out of his way to accommodate dietary restrictions, customizing options with great aplomb. The server (Kim) was super attentive and efficient. The result was one of the most delightful dinners we have had in quite a while.
We will definitely be back.
