The Raven is one of our favorite places to go for excellent food, lively atmosphere, and wonderful libations. During football season, it is simply a blast to sit at the bar and watch football with other fans. Yesterday Ashly went out of her way to provide exceptional customer service. The martinis were superb as well as the non-alcoholic blueberry mojito. As always, the lettuce wrapped vege burger, turkey club with French onion soup, and flatbread pizza were delicious. We look forward to visiting The Raven in the very near future for another good time and yummy deliciousness!

Our party of four dined on the patio because each couple brought a dog and we wanted to enjoy the sunset over the harbor. We took a table next to a gas fire pit… and the staff set up a propane tank pole heater for us as well. We ordered a variety of tasty cocktails and half a dozen dishes off the happy hour menu. All of them were beautifully prepared and delicious. Our waitress Erandi was as attentive, patient and sweet as could be… and hostess Arianna was also quite helpful. As we left around 7:00 pm, we could see the dining room and bar were packed with a TGIF crowd. So The Raven Tavern Is clearly a favorite place with locals. i heartily recommend this establishment for indoor or outdoor dining… and its happy hour for excellent values!

Nice, comfortable seating. Spaced appropriately so you're not crammed in with others too close. Food and service was perfect and the woman playing guitar, "Teresa Russell" was just fantastic. I had the shrimp and it really was delicious. It was a bit too hot inside, but they opened some doors and that helped. Love this place and will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

We like the food especially the bangers and mash, and the pies. It can be very noisy when they have live music since the restaurant is really one big room. Service is generally good. Go when there is no live music unless you like loud bands.

Had a great dinner at the Raven last night!!! Beautiful evening, fun friends, great food, gorgeous sunset and our server, Chereen, was outstanding. My braised short ribs were SO good and the apple crumble definitely topped it off. Oh, and the best onion rings in town. If you haven’t been there, check it out. Yum.

All of our plates were very good. Steak skewers were really flavorful. Short ribs were fork tender. Patio is chilly in the evening. It's too bad all the heaters don't work. Bring a sweatshirt.

A great place for a casual lunch or dinner. I especially like their onion rings to start and their Shepard's Pie. Strong drinks, so beware! Good service generally and a nice atmosphere next to the marina.

Everything was great as usual but I was a little disappointed in the happy hour chicken skewers. In the past it was more like a chicken tender or satay stick but this time the chicken was cut up cubes. IMHO It wasn’t as good as before. Other than that. Everything was great

We had a great time and the food was excellent. Unfortunately, we were not expecting a live band. The band was not loud, for a live band, but it made conversation challenging. Next time we will pay closer attention to the live music schedule.

Love the outside patio area. They are very nice & hospitable and accommodate their clientele's requests to the best of their ability (some places just don't even try!). We had the onion rings & old bay fries to start - crispy, hot and seasoned well. French onion soup and sandwiches delicious as well - roasted turkey, grilled cheese, BLTA & special was soft shell crab. It wasn't too much food and served hot and the seasoning was on point, no leftovers LOL! Service from host/hostess to servers was great and everyone here is so nice! I have been going for awhile now when I am in Oxnard & I highly recommend this place!

We got a table outside facing the marina. Outside is better because the band is in the bar on Friday is loud. Onion rings, sweet potato fries and Pot pies were very good. Service was competent and friendly.

Our first time at the Raven Tavern. The OpenTable reservation process was very simple. We were seated right away. We were going to sit outside but the wind was a little strong, common for the area, so we chose to sit inside. Place was not crowded, but then again it was a Monday. Waitress arrived quickly, and food came out surprising fast. Everybody's meal was great. We'll be coming back.

Everything we have tried here has been excellent. The pies are terrific and of course one of my all time favorites is the Grown-up Grill Cheese, the blend of cheeses, tomato and the bacon make it over the top delicious. You also cannot beat the ambiance it can get a little loud if there is a band, but on a nice evening you can always sit out side and enjoy the harbor and ocean breezes.

Always enjoy dining at the Raven Tavern. The food is delicious and the service is very good. It’s especially lovely to sit outside and overlook the water. This time though we sat inside as it was a little too breezy and chilly to sit outside. I have recommended the Raven to all my friends, and I dine there often.
