Amazing food, amazing menu
Great food, nice and cozy establishment. Drinks were also great and tasty.
It was ok, a few hiccups but ok.
Michael, our server, was kind, courteous, friendly, professional, attentive... In a word, he was GREAT! Our food was yummy and abundant. We were there for brunch and ordered the Popcorn Cauliflower (truffle parm) starter, ham steak (what a colossal piece of meat!) w/roasted potatoes, eggs, and homemade bread/biscuits; and the smoked shredded pork & cheesy grits (tasty gravy though a little salty). For drinks we enjoyed several Dobbin' for Apples and Jelly Jar cocktails. We ate, talked, sipped & slurped for hours! Lol. It was our first time there, and it won't be our last. See you soon Michael! 😊
We had an absolutely amazing meal here! All of the food was delicious (it was hard to choose what to order because everything on the menu sounded so good), the service was wonderful, and it's a cozy restaurant with a good vibe. Absolutely recommend this spot!
the food at rearebit is tasty and inventive, but on our visit the service was spotty, after recognizing this the wait staff and manager were very helpful. during the corona virus its tough on restaurants so a little patience is required. we will go back
We went for Restaurant Week and had very good service and food.
Always amazing!! We love eating here. Service is always great. Bartender is amazing and the food, can’t find better anywhere.
Staff courteous- great quality food and a beautiful atmosphere
We had a wonderful experience. The food was phenomenal and the service was A++. THANK YOU!
EXCELLENT!!! Found it because of Restaurant Week, will continue going back because it's just good people & great food!! Their menu options for Restaurant Week were excellent & extensive, and they were even amenable to some change if desired/needed. The selections were scrumptious - especially the popcorn cauliflower, chili maple brussel sprouts, shrimp & grits & collards, & filet mignon. It was an overall excellent value, new favorite place for sure - will definitely keep going back!
Good food. A little pricy. Went on a Sunday afternoon and it was extremely loud at the bar. Music mainly. Would have liked something a little more chilled. Nice staff.
I love this place. Food is always amazing. Ambiance is so chill. I’ll definitely be returning.
Service is really great and accommodating! The staff did a special dessert for our guest of honor. In the times of covid, everything feels very safe and well thought through. The food is exceptional with really great options for all types of diets which is great. Also, the drink menu is fantastic! I also really love TRB because it is a restaurant that makes you feel like the meal is an occasion, yet casual so as not to feel stuffy or make members of a larger group uncomfortable with how to dress.
Excellent food and good selection for vegans. Ambience was fine given outdoor seating due to our concerns over the pandemic. However, the person bussing our table was not careful with hisj mask, even after we brought it to the waiter's attention.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I can't pick which was better, the service or the food. Both were outstanding!!
The Rare Bit never fails to deliver. Great food, great atmosphere.
Last minute reservation for brunch and came across this location. One of the best choices! Greeted with friendly smiles ( through a mask) with option of indoor/outdoor dining ( following new guidelines of mask and social distancing). We chose to sit outdoors due to lovely weather. We realized it was a family owned business and it was confirmed when owner came to check up on us. From host to staff, it was one of the most wonderful dining experiences. The food was AMAZING!!! Drinks excellent - DEFINITELY recommended this location. It is worth the drive up to Dobbs Ferry and enjoy scenery, environment, food and drinks! If you want to watch some sports- nice screens displaying sport’s for sports lover and those who want to enjoy each others company, perfect setting.
Food- EXCELLENT! We chose the following and recommend them all!
Popcorn cauliflower (general tso)
Edimame
Chicken and waffles
Hangar steak
Pork & grits
Brussel sprouts (chili maple)

Great vegan options will bring us back again. Our carnivore friend enjoyed his meal as well. Service was friendly and attentive without hovering.
We had a fantastic staff led by Liz and sat outside on one of the street tables that they will have until November. Very good GF fish and chips and the service was the best we have had in a long tine!!!
Really impressed by the level of service. Staff was absolutely amazing, kind, quick, and professional. The food was delicious. I especially liked the spicy duck fried rice. We got the scotch egg and hummus appetizer. Both very tasty and large portions. We also got the fish and chips and chicken tikka masalla, the chicken was spicier than we were expecting but it mellowed nicely as you ate it and was very flavorful. The fish had a slightly salty aftertaste but was balanced nicely with the homemade tarter sauce. Overall this is definitely someplace you should try if you like good and creative food. Due to having to eat on the small sidewalk due to the pandemic definitely detracted a bit from the dining experience but was no means any reflection of the restaurant, they made such an effort to still provide a nice dining experience and get major points for that.
Awesome spot for great food, drinks and impeccable service! Thanks to hunter and Matthew!
Brilliant. A proper gastro pub
My husband and I went with another couple. We were sat in a booth which was VERY tight on space. Two of us had the fish and chips (gluten free/gluten free fryer) which was awesome. We had the pimento cheese dip appetizer and crawfish bisque special which were both very good. My husband had the crawfish mac and cheese and said it was good but lacking flavor. All in all I would go back! The gluten free options were pretty good!
The worst Welsh Rarebit I ever ate-bread overcooked, cheese was not hot and the rarebit concoction had an unpleasant taste. My wife had prime ribs which she said was very good but the yorkshire pudding was way overcooked and stuffed with carrots????
We had several drinks at the bar and after we sat at a table we waited 15 minutes before someone brought us a menu.
Had to park literally a half mile away-no nearby parking.
We went here when it first opened, we love it, and we went back this weekend, I was shocked, the food was really not good. I couldn't even finish mine. I would not recommend anymore.
The food was amazing! Loved the margaritas. The waiter was attentive, informative, and pleasant. The hostess was very nice. The ambiance was great for a causal evening out. Nice experience when the chef came out to greet us - he is awesome!!!
Food was very good. Enjoyed the tasty Ostrich Steak. Yummy!!! Our server, Luis was very knowledgeable and attentive.
I have no complaints
Birthday brunch
We had a great meal. The ingredients and preparation were excellent. The owner and staff were very personable. The ambience allowed for pleasant conversation without straining to hear our table mates.
It was my first time trying The Rare Bit. I enjoyed the decor inside kind of a turn of the century gothic vibe. The bar is awesome, would definitely come back to have a drink there. The menu has many different options and types of cuisine. I had the shrimp tacos and the Brussel sprout side. Both were delicious. The shrimp tacos were so fresh! Great service as well!
Wonderful We ♥️ it there!!
The food is so unique. I love the ambiance. The staff is super friendly. Rocking drinks!
Great spot for good comfort food and drinks. Service was attentive and courteous. Love the southern influence w/ the cuisine.
Great brunch. Lots of choices and everything was delicious Order the scotch eggs
The best!! From the drinks to the food. We always enjoy our time. Friendly staff and amazing bartenders.
The menu is inventive and the food delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The staff is welcoming and efficient. It’s a great place.
We loved the food. Service was good- a little noisy as the night went on
Our meal was delicious. The only problem is that I ordered the bottomless drinks, but when are tab was closed I was refused another drink even though we had only been there 2 hours (the limit is 3). However, when I pointed out that I had not asked for the tab to be closed I did get the drink.
