I recently dined at The Ranch for the second time, and it was a far cry from my initial experience. Unfortunately, this visit left much to be desired, especially considering it was my friends' first time there and we were celebrating a birthday. The first issue we encountered was the incredibly slow and inattentive service. It seemed as if our waiter was preoccupied with other tables, as we were left waiting for extended periods of time without any attention. To make matters worse, when the sea urchin soup finally arrived, it was disappointingly cold. Our waiter took it back to have it redone, but the incident was far from over. The matre'd brought out a second bowl of soup, but as he was setting it down, he accidentally spilled it on the table. While he apologized, he didn't bother to clean up the mess or replace the birthday girl's napkin. It was disheartening to see her clean up the mess herself on her special day. Although the sea urchin soup had good flavor, it was unfortunately too watery. The lobster mac and cheese was another letdown, as it was dry and overwhelmingly flavored with thyme. The creamed corn lacked the creamy texture one would expect and was dry and overly sweet. It felt like they used low-quality frozen unsweetened corn and tried to compensate by oversweetening it. The scalloped potatoes were the only dish that somewhat met our expectations, but they were still far from exceptional. The Caesar salad, on the other hand, was good, and the steak was cooked properly and tasted decent, but they were not enough to salvage the overall experience. In an attempt to rectify the situation, the staff offered the birthday girl two complimentary desserts and removed the charge for the soup from the bill. While these gestures were appreciated, they didn't make up for the multitude of disappointments we encountered throughout the evening. It's disheartening to see a place that was once memorable and enjoyable fall so far from grace.

Great food and drinks. Attentive staff. The tomahawk steak was amazing! The scalloped potatoes were top tier!!! The beer selection was great and cocktails smooth and crisp. The only negative if any would be the loudness of the inside since there was some big parties. At times it was overwhelming.

We have dined here a few times. this latest visit was disappointing and will keep us away for some time to come. It took three asks to finally get bread to the table, it arrived after the appetizers. a steak ordered medium arrived rare. a request to swap the included potatoes for a green veggie was denied! prices here are up significantly but the service has markedly declined. not a good paring.

Our steaks were tender, the seasoning was perfect, and the presentation was really beautifully done. Very expensive but we got the excellent service to accompany the fine meal. However it was very loud; so many large groups of people made for a little too much noise for us.

The food was amazing! It was super dark though and we were visiting from out of town and the description for attire said casual but we felt the most under dressed. It's a great steakhouse but definitely over priced. Still an experience I'd share with the rest of my family because the food was so yummy and that's what we are there for ultimately.

I have been wanting to visit this restaurant for several years, but the last time I was planning to go, the pandemic changed my plans. We did order as takeout, and the food was good, but I vowed not to do this again, as the full experience of “fine dining” was not realized. I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner experience. The ambiance is what I had hoped for, and they had my favorite wine (Bordeaux, St. Emilion) available by the glass. The noise level was moderate, especially for a Sunday night, but it is a casual “ranch” atmosphere and is quite acceptable. Service was excellent, and reservations went smoothly. My only complaint would be that too much salt is used in cooking, however, none the less enjoyable. Drink lots of water during, and after you get home. Taste was excellent accept for this one caveat. I do highly recommend this fine restaurant.

Amazing cuisine with top notch service. They do all the little things right, explain the dishes and specials, if your celebrating an occasion offer a free desert and my favorite… multiple servers that clear out your table promptly. Ask and you shall receive! I had the scallops and chicken which were divine. A proper old fashion had the maraschino cherry and a large block of ice. All the makings of an exquisite experience. Ambiance was comfortable with dim lighting to create an easy going yet luxurious space. Definitely a highly recommended place for your next meal.

Incredible evening at the Ranch! We celebrated a birthday dinner and the staff were nothing short of exceptional! Service was beyond amazing and they made sure to wish us a happy birthday at every chance!!! 10/10 would recommend. It’s a pricier spot but absolutely worth it for a special occasion.

We visited on Mother’s Day at 2pm. Our reception was good. The decor and atmosphere is superb. The food was amazing. A little odd that the staff kept referring to it as the evening, when it was only 2pm. I will certainly go back. I’d like to check out the Saloon too. Thank you for a very special afternoon.

My daughter and I had a wonderful pre-Mother's day dinner. Joe was an excellent server who answered our questions, gave suggestions, and was perfectly attentive. Lobster mac and cheese was delicious, cucumber mint martini was perfect, and our New York dry-aged delmonico steak was perfectly cooked. For dessert we shared the Milky Way. A perfect way to end the meal. WOW, we will definitely be back.
