The Rail Trail Flatbread Co., celebrated its grand opening on 12/12/23, marking not only a milestone in Milford's downtown revitalization but also a nod to the original Hudson location's success. Built in a meticulously renovated former bank that features a spacious restaurant and bar, outdoor patio, and upstairs events space, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.

The Milford location reflects a two-and-a-half-year renovation effort, preserving historical elements like the century-old clock, vault door, and exposed brick walls. The open dining layout encourages interaction, adorned with family photos for a homey feel.

Though famous for flatbreads, Rail Trail boasts diverse offerings, each component is made in-house. Notable flatbreads include "Fig & Walnut" and "Mexican Street Corn," alongside the popular "Primo Pepperoni." Appetizers like "Hot Tots" and "Sesame Cauliflower" showcase Rail Trail's culinary creativity.

We are always so pleased with our experience at the Rail Trail Flatbread Co. The food and drinks are always delicious. We are amazed with the people working here. Everyone works together so well. It is a well organized restaurant. We love sitting in a booth near the pizza oven.

I’ve been to the location in Hudson before, and this was the same (maybe better??)! This was the first time for the rest of the party, and they all absolutely LOVED it! They said this is where they want to go when we meet for a meal anytime :) Also, they did a reservation for 9 no problem!

We were seated 30 min after our reservation. The booth was not wide enough and could barely slide in between the seat and table. Service and food was very good. They have a very flexible menue for plant based eaters!

We're regulars at the Milford location because of the drink selection, seasonal specials, and the flatbread always hits just right. Extra kudos to Andy the bartender for remembering us from a previous visit and welcoming us back to the bar.

Very nice and super accommodating for several changes in the reservation amount. I was also pleasantly surprised they had vegan options. I will definitely go again and can see it becoming a new birthday tradition.

Every single person who works here is friendly and proactively helpful. (Seeing my elderly father looking around, someone came up to ask if he was looking for the restroom [he was].) We sat on the patio for a quieter environment, which was nice. The food never disappoints! A Harvest Salad offered all 5 of us appetizer portions of salad; the Primo Pepperoni flatbread is the only entree on any menu for which I break my pescatarianism. A perfect casual dining experience for a reasonable price!

Very considerate service. Nice setting seeing the ovens and the flatbeeads being made. Great varieties and excellent food.
