Lovely food, on the pricier side but food worth it. Even though it was booked as 25th anniversary meal there was no acknowledgment about it on arrival

on arriving we were shown to our table very efficiently and asked if we would like a drink before the meal after a few minutes a waitress asked if we would like to order and then proceeded to take our starter and main course order the food arrived very quickly and was excellent in taste and presentation after the main course was cleared away we ordered two desserts and two coffees which also were superb all in all a superb meal the staff were very efficient and helpful

It was my partners 74th birthday we both decided to have rump steak , when it arrived I thought I had wrong knife it was so tuff. they took it back so we said we would have the sirloin it was better but as dry as a bone with no taste. will we come back no chance if you go to aldi and buy there fillet steak for £5-00 that is how it should be.

We went here for Sunday lunch and I have been here before . Overall the rag serves good home cooked food and the choice is very good. But I think it does lack a friendly atmosphere , when coming to take your order which they barely give you time to choose the waitress just stands there without asking if you are ready. Would recommend for food but not for service.

This is the first time weve been for Sunday lunch and we wasn't disappointed. The meal was excellent, staff friendly, good value for money. Would highly recommend.
