The Quiet Crab

We always want seafood. I had the snow crab clusters, they were excellent. The house Pinot Grigio went very well with them. The others in my party had good meals too. And the conch fritters had a good amount of conch meat, often they’re more filler than conch. Will definitely go back. Say hi to Jeff the owner chef and to Amber our excellent server. Good times!

Food was delicious and wait staff very attentive. Ambience could have been better.

Was craving seafood and this place came up in a search. Seafood was fresh, prices were great and staff was nice. Very small, home town type place... chef is owner.... definitely go here

Totally surpassed our expectations in food quality and terrific service. The two crab soups, especially the red Chesapeake were scrumptious and loaded with crab. The real delight were the crab cakes. The best we have had anywhere in the US. We have no idea how chef manages to get so much crab meat to stick together without the usual filler one is used to in a cake. The perfect balance of crispness and fluff. Excellent.

A very charming, casual place - you can tell the staff are very in tune to making your experience great. We had the snow crab in butter sauce (shared) - was super good. Also had the trio (crab cake, crab leg, shrimp) very enjoyable as well. Cream of crab soup was good, it was not as rich as i am used to, and full of bits of crab. The crab cake in the trio was chock full of crab - a pleasant surprise as it is hard to get a good crab cake because most places put too much filler in them. I would highly recommend this place to my friends and neighbors! Also, the QC lager beer was very nice.

The Quiet Crab was a amazing surprise! The crab cakes were the best I’ve ever had! They had large chunks of Maryland crab and a delicious remoulade sauce. The shrimp were large and fresh. The salad with the Italian dressing was also good. We bought our own wine, but they do serve house wine and beer. The owner was very gracious and made sure his customers were happy. The bill was very reasonable especially for the quality of food. I highly recommend this casual restaurant.

It was excellent. We went into the evening not expecting much, but were we surprised. Service, food, atmosphere was perfect. Every employee constantly made sure we were satisfied. There was also a nice touch when the owner came to our table to ensure everything was to our liking.

Excellent crab cakes with no filler and great creamy crab soup. Huge yummy salads and Jeff the owner came over to our table to check on our visit!

We've been here twice in the past few months and both times were had a great meal. The food and service are outstanding. This is the place to go if you like crabs.

Food was good but pricey. Corkage fee of $15 was high. Will try again & just order a beer

What a fantastic find!!! Vacationing in Florida and being from Maryland I was curious about the restaurant advertising Maryland seafood. Everything was as advertised!!! The food was fantastic and the owner (Jeff) was so nice and visited every table. The decor was all Maryland too! Thanks so much for making us feel at home.

I have told a few people about the outstanding food. The care and prep are about the best we have had in Florida. Been here 26 years. The stuffed lobster tail is my go too but I will try other items as we will go on Saturday ( my husband and I are early dinners). Go to beat the crowd. Have a happy holiday in see you in a week.

We experienced great food. Everything was fresh, and the servings were generous. Everyone was very pleasant, and the service was efficient.

Moving here to South Florida from Pa (45 min from Baltimore) it has been hard finding a good crab cake. Well, no more. Delicious crab cakes!!! Great cream of crab soup. Our service could have been better. We seemed to wait a really long time for our meal. Maybe it got lost. We will definitely go back. A bit pricey, but worth it!!

Simple menu, of course limited to wonderful seafood. A little pricy but if you enjoy good food it is well worth it. Service was very good.....

For prices expected much more, crab cakes bland but good size, soup very good, crabs watery, as an original Marylander, overall dissapointing

Yes, I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The owner/chef was very friendly and welcoming and took the time to talk to us. I really liked that!! The food was very good, and the crab soup was just outstanding.
