The Queens Head is a 16th century pub/restaurant in the buckinghamshire village of Wing. With it"s oak beamed ceilings and open fires it offers a warm welcome to all who visit. Our food is freshly prepared from quality ingredients, unpretentious, satisfying and served by our friendly, professional staff who are dedicated to ensuring you enjoy your time with us. Bookings are taken for our refurbished dining room and our smaller "snug" area or you can turn up and eat in our traditional bar with inglenook fireplace or enjoy "al fresco" dining in our beautiful garden Whether you are celebrating a special occasion or just fancy lunch and a pint of local ale The Queens Head can cater, perfectly, for your needs.

We were very pleasantly surprised with the lovely warm feeling inside the Queens, apart from the fact that there was a great log fire burning in the hearth. Lovely staff, yes it is Christmas and everyone is in a good mood, but we really enjoyed ourselves, thank you.

My sea bass with watercress salad was ok but a bit overcooked. Hubbies lamb cutlets were good. Restaurant is too brightly lit (in my opinion).

Will always be our favourite pub! We took some of our friends with us for Sunday Lunch and as expected they were very impressed with their first visit to the Queens Head. We had the souffle, crayfish and salmon parcels and the salt and pepper squid for starters, followed by roast lamb, pork and beef - all cooked to perfection as they say on those food programmes! Finished of with the cheese board and chocolate brownie which was all spot on. As always really friendly staff, fab prices and a lovely wine and beer list. See you again soon xxx

Wonderful food, friendly service and reasonable prices. The menu gave a very good choice and there was no rush to get us fed and out - in fact it was very relaxed. No problems with parking either. All in all a very good lunch experience.
