Shrimp Po' Boy
Louisiana Shrimp Cakes
Awesome place with a super friendly environment. The food was really good and the owner and bartenders were hilarious. Love the vibe at this joint. I'll be back for sure.
The best creole food in WNY. Ambiance great. I always feel like I’m in a NOLA jazz bar when I’m here! Can’t wait to return.
The service was terrible. The bartender messed up one of their featured drinks, a Hurricane. The waitress did not know the difference between Italian and balsamic vinegar at dressing. I asked for barbecue sauce and it was brought out A1 steak sauce. After we pointed out these errors, there was no acknowledgment or compensation for their mistakes. It took a while for the food to come out, even though there were only three tables filled in the restaurant at the time. Would not recommend it at all.
Comedy at Kleinhans Music Hall
The food was outstanding and the service was excellent! Ive found a new local restaurant to reccomend everyone to!
We were greeted upon our arrival by a pleasant hostess who, after checking our reservation, gave use our choice of two lovely tables. Our server immediately appeared with menus and a friendly greeting.
The cocktails proved to be interesting with a apt description of each; they proved to be delicious. Kudos to the bar tender. Promptly but with any rush or order was taken following some information from our server.
We opted for an appetizer and salad which we split. Both were delicious and more than sufficient to satisfy us. Dave stopped by our table to check on us ... that was nice.
You will be glad to know that as we left we were planning our next visit to "The Quarter".

Great food! Good prices! 👍
the food was good and the drinks. i felt everything was reasonably priced and for two people, we left full and satisfied. Definitely will be back to try other items on the menu!
Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Definitely going back.
This poor server was doing every single table, and the host was the least helpful ever. The food was missing key ingredients but the server didn’t disclose (probably because the poor guy was too busy to talk to kitchen staff. We were seated 40 minutes after our reservation. The host seemed totally confused most of the time which because obviously when she sat two other walk ins without reservations and told us: “oh! I forgot what you looked like and couldn’t find you anywhere!” We’d been five feet away the whole time?
Great experience, staff was very friendly. Food was excellent. Only disappointment was lack of coffee and a couple menu items unavailable. Recommended.
The staff was very friendly the food was delicious and not to mention the hurricane drink and I Love the location
Glad I didn’t take the reviews too serious because I had a great time! The food and drinks were great from appetizers to desert, they didn’t have our desired entree though but that’s ok because everything else we got was tasty. Service was not slow for us (we went on a Friday evening), in fact there was another employee tending to our table in addition to the waiter and they were so friendly! I’m not really a fan of the decor but honestly with good drinks, service and food that really doesn’t matter.
Great food and amazing portions every time! The drinks tasted great and went down too easy!
The food was awful! We had the etouffe and the gumbo. Both were bowls of rice with about a half cup of sauce. Looked nothing like the picture they have here! Only had 3 bites of andouille in the gumbo, which was shredded chicken with broth. No spice/seasoning. For the price is was not worth it.
Our server was pleasant and attentive. Drinks did take a long time considering there were only 2 4tops in the whole place.
The food was outstanding. Everyone in the group enjoyed her dinner. They will even adjust the heat level in your dish!
Service was very slow but there seemed to be only one server and bartender. I completely understand the shortages occurring, as I work in the service industry. However, I got off my shift and was planning on having a date night with my fiancé. We didn’t come in until later (9 pm) for dinner and I think the staff was completely checked out by then unfortunately. Service was very very slow and my entree came without sausage. When I asked about the sausage our server let us know they were out. Well, if I would have know that I would have ordered something else! Lol. He did give me half off for my entree which was nice, I just was disappointed our date night flopped because of the whole experience. I understand everyone has their bad nights/table service so I’ll chalk it up to that and hope for a better experience next time.
Cocktails were just okay, but not worth the price. Food and atmosphere were disappointing. Very warm, only one window ac unit and 6 box fans blowing hot air at patrons rather than pushing the cool air and pulling out the hot. The food left much to be desired and didn't appear fresh.
Food was not very good. 2 of us had jambalaya, not good at all. Mostly rice a couple shrimp and a few small pieces of sausage. My wife's sandwich was good, the other person had gumbo. She did like that.
If I had gone to the mens room before dinner not after I probably would have left the restaurant. This was probably the dirtiest bathroom I have ever seen in a restaurant. I was not the only person to feel this way , my friend was shocked also.
I will not go back or recommend this to anyone
We were only in Buffalo for the night, and The Quarter was just the right combination of great ambiance and food with that neighborhood favorite feel to end a long day of traveling. The drinks were excellent and the food was absolutely spot-on!
Unfortunately there was only one worker available due to another server quitting earlier in the day. He was the bartender and server for every guest which was unfortunate for him. He did what he could but to manage the entire restaurant by himself. The food and drinks were decent for the price paid.
Not sure what it is about this location. It used to be a pretty good bar, but since that closed everything that goes in there ends up mediocre. The disaffected hostess sat us and then went back to sit and stare at her phone and look out the window. One waitress had the entire lower floor so it took a while to order. The food was OK, but definitely not traditional creole/cajun. So if you're thinking you want etouffee the way you had it in NOLA, don't. We had a couple of hurricanes which were pretty good. But at the end of the day, it's one of those places you just go, "Meh." Won't be back.
We were a bit underwhelmed by our dinners. My jambalaya was good but two of us ordered the gumbo and it was very disappointing. It was served with a big amount of rice in the middle of a soup bowl with an embarrassingly small amount of actual gumbo/soup around it. A dish that's over $20 shouldn't leave you walking out still hungry.
Great food and a wonderful staff.
Amazing criollo food! The atmosphere, waiters and bar tender were a dream. My family and I plan to go back very soon.
Thumbs up for the food! Not so much for the FOH.
Very french quarter like, this bar/restaurant really does try to immerse you in what they think New Orleans is like. With hanging potted plants to the jazz music(that you can hear for down the street) they really did pay attention to detail with this place. I really enjoyed the food and would most definitely suggest this spot to ppl within the area!
If this review were only for food I would give it five stars. The food was wonderful the drinks were wonderful, however the noise level was very loud.
Food was amazing. The dessert took forever but the server apologized and took it off the bill. The walls need some new orleans themed art!
Sitting outside gives a European feel...food was excellent ❤️
A rat ran across me and my party feet. First time steak and lobster bites was over cooked
Came in for the Chefs special and the food was delicious tasty drinks too!!
Awful!! Food was awful service was worse!!
I’ve been here multiple times love it !! Great vibe and all food is excellent
Fast service great food
When we arrived we were told they ran out of food lol so we had a drink and left. Glad to see they were busy, no hard feelings
Food was amazing. Service was perfect. Great great great place.
Got the special and was blown away.
Will be back many times and with more friends and family!
Really great cajun food and cocktails. Friendly service, clean and spaced out. Would go again in a heartbeat.
The Quarter was the perfect place To celebrate my birthday
It’s was fantastic the food the ambiance was awesome as well
I will definitely will be back there again
Service was excellent! Food was delicious! My only negative would be that sitting upstairs we were near the speaker and the music was a bit too loud.
