A great real ale drinkers pub, we are in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide again this year and offer guest ales alongside our regular beers.

We like you to feel at home at The Pulteney Arms, in winter the log burner is always stoked, in summer the courtyard is a welcome place to sit in the shade under a parasol and watch the world go by.

First time at The Pulteney for husband's birthday meal and it was great. Lovely family run pub. Delicious food and friendly, attentive staff.

The Pulteney Arms is a great place to go for good food with friends. The food was hot and tasty. The service was prompt and friendly. Can't wait to go back.

Friendly pub , friendly staff and friendly drinkers. Food was good but first glass of wine was grim ( it came from the bottom of a bottle which presumably had been open too long) . Second glass was much better.

Lovely lunch to catch up with friends. The rugby was on TV which shaped the atmosphere (all good). Will go back.
