Summer’s heating up, and so is our Sunday Supper Club series—back with a menu that brings Caribbean warmth to the table. Join sous chef Jerry Griffin and grill queen Sweetie Manigault for a three-course Caribbean-inspired dinner featuring the bold, soulful flavors they grew up with. From stewed oxtail and johnnycakes to jerk cauliflower steak and rum cake, this menu is packed with comfort and sunshine. Service felt disjointed, waiter recommendations were off (saying you can split a couple danishes for the table, etc.), and we asked for the bread assortment to come out before our entrees and they brought it when we were eating, so we did not have room for bread by then.

Great farm to table food, bold flavours and good service. However the prices were on the high side for the quantity of food. Especially the meat/protein. Overall a good experience and would recommend trying it out.

The food was fantastic. The service could have been better but it was fine overall. We sat outside and it was a nice environment with several people walking on the main street.

Rob Levitt did not disappoint on the menu choices or the quality of the food. We did the tasting menu and I highly recommend it. The only lacking part is the Hospitality. No real greeting when you cone in and the waiter almost made us feel like we were interrupting or bothering him.

Service was poor/every time we had even come near to finishing our food and appetizers, waitstaff was there to pick up our plates. The server was unpleasant as well and did not try to provide a good experience. Our food was cold. We sat outside - beware, vendors will be coming up to your table whether you are seated inside or outside because the restaurant allows them to enter the facility and does not do anything to stop them from interrupting your meal. To top it all off, we had a homeless man come up to our table at the end of our meal to drink our drinks. Will not be coming back.

Excellent dinner. Staff was excellent- very welcoming and professional. Amazing food and the root beer float cake was fantastic . Initially the music was loud but when I mentioned that to the waiter he immediately had it turned down. Would definitely recommend.

The quality of ingredients and preparations at The Publican are superb. Very friendly servers are knowledgeable ambassadors of their menu. Range of options remarkable, from great oysters through phenomenal meat. We were particularly happy with the wide variety of veggie options since a member of our party is strict vegetarian and all of us enjoy green stuff along with those oysters and meats. The wine list is also very fun, with excellent value available via wines from regions less famous.
