Del equipo detrás de el Blackbird and Avec traemos este homenaje a la cerveza, la carne de cerdo y pescado. El chef ejecutivo Paul Kahan y el Chef de Cuisine, Cosmo Goss, han desarrollado una red de proveedores para abastecer el restaurante con pescados y mariscos capturados de forma sostenible seleccionados a mano, así como carne de cerdo de la más alta calidad criado también de forma sostenible. Todo esto para aterrizar un menú de tipo ecléctico y simple. La extensa lista de cervezas internacionales, desarrollado por los socios Eduard Seitan y Terry Alexander, cuenta con más de cien ales, lagers, stouts y cidras en botella, doce de ellas disponibles en barril. Al igual que Blackbird and Avec, The Publican es una asociación de diseño del equipo ganador del premio James Beard, formado por Thomas Schlesser y su socio Donnie Madia.

Didn’t know what to expect but damn - so delicious! Hard to choose what to get but I would say 100% get the Pork Belly (if you’re into pork) and probably skip on the chicken because out of all the food, the chicken was the most basic and could have been served anywhere. The food was fantastic with a combination of flavors I wouldn’t have ever thought would go together so it was a cute experience :)

We went here for brunch and were wowed by everything we ate and also by the service and attention from the staff! We highly recommend it!

The food was wonderful! It was the best dinner we ever had at a restaurant. Savory, complex dishes. Perfectly cooked food.

Wow, wow, wow!!! This place was AMAZING! The food quality and taste is a good as it gets. The service is also phenomenal. Definitely worth the money.

The food and the service here are always impeccable. This is the only place I trust enough to venture into foreign territory. This time I tried the sweetbreads. Delicious!! They kinda reminded me of eating a fried oyster in both texture (but sweetbreads were a bit drier) and and taste. I would definitely have them again. I highly recommend Publican. It's not pretentious and it's just plain spot on every time.

Got jerked around with a party of 2 seating this visit. Always had booth seating which is very preferable in this bustling place. Show up early with reservation and denied seating at any of the all empty booths, then denied seating at any of the all empty tables near windows out of the main traffic pathways. Seated at communal table and when I sat next to my wife was told side to side seating was not allowed at the table and made to move. Daily bread, pickles, beets, peaches, chicken all very good as always. As we departed 2 booths and 2 window tables were still empty so they could have easily accommodated us but instead we left really annoyed. It's their restaurant and their rules, but it's our choice not to return.
