   Not worth the $55 for the English supper menu. Took over 30 mins to get a bottle of wine delivered to table. It was empty, we were one of the first reservations at 515. The rarebit was 2 huge pieces of thick rye bread per person and quite cold, could have easily been just 1 per person. The bangers and mash tasted like instant potatoes, very watery, and just small pieces of salty sausage. The fish and chips was fine, but it was served with a pound of French fries and no peas/mushy peas, which is a standard. The toffee dessert was fine, but no sauce at all. My entree came out 10 mins before my friends, and to be polite I waited, so it was also cold. There were only 2 options to choose from on the menu, so it’s not like they didn’t have the food prepped and ready to go in the kitchen. The cherry on top was the 3% covid/service fee (service… what service), also asking 20% starting tip on the electronic check. This used to be a favorite restaurant, but it will be hard to keep it in rotation after this over $100 per person.

   My ol' reliable, always wonderful. We came here for a quick nightcap after a disappointing dinner elsewhere and it ended up being the highlight of the day. Thank you Blake for taking such good care of us. Try the oysters!

   The Publican continues to deliver delicious food made it quality ingredients. Don’t skip the waffle with yuzu curd and meringue on the brunch menu. The atmosphere is boisterous and busy, no chill vibes here. Service is not fast, but friendly.

    Always a go to for oysters but came here for a friend’s birthday and they not only made them feel special but also the rest of us as well! Awesome service to match the food Can’t wait to be back for the patio 🥵
