Other than not seeming like they were ready to open at noon, the food was fantastic. I would go back and give them another chance for sure!
The waiter had us wait for 10 mins before he even asked us if we where thirsty and wanted to order drinks. I had to keep calling him for more water, more food, the bill and we wanted to order extra drink. Food was good but had small portions. Overall we had a good time.
Delicious food and fantastic service! My only complaint was the music level, but that was only an issue because my wife and daughter called while I was eating dinner.
Our server was super nice, but the kitchen and the bar were ridiculously slow.
It was delicious and the service was excellent. Everyone was friendly and helpful.
Horrible experience which makes me question the OT system. We arrived for reservation on time and were told by host that they were closing. This seemed odd because there were about 25-30 people in the restaurant. I questioned why the system had accepted the reservation, made not long before, and was told “the owner is in Indi and we don’t know the password to change the hours”. I said that the website stated they were open for another 1 hour and 45 minutes. He just shrugged and said “sorry” in an insincere way, “we are closed”. It’s a shame because I live around the corner. I will not request the restaurant and will advise my neighbors to avoid as we.
Amazing, Melissa went above and beyond for our anniversary. And our waiter was ace, very attentive xx
Delicious & satisfying, the fish & chips were great and the brisket was divine
The music in the background was too loud making it hard to hear conversations
The service was good but the food was amazing! The waiter we got was not very friendly but he kept drinks filled.
We had a party of six for dinner—fish and chips were just meh, the vegetable sides were VERY small for $6, my bbq sandwich was ok but not a lot of pork, the best item was the cornbread. Overall, it was a disappointment but location was good.
The Bloody Mary at brunch was fantastic.
Everything was good
Suitable for large groups and portions allow for sharing. Brisket was delicious as were the wings!
The staff was very friendly and helpful; we were on time but not ready to eat yet so Roberto happily changed our reservation to an hour later, our waitress was really good and attentive to our needs. We tried the 3 main bbq dishes to share; all flavorful and tender. Our favorite and best value was the ribs, next was the roast - again a decent portion with melt in your mouth goodness, and last the Texas style brisket was the least tender - the portion size more fitting to Rhode Island (come on, I've had 4 slices of bacon larger than those 4 slices of brisket). The sides were delicious - but for the small size of the cornbread muffin, you really should serve 2 with each meal. Overall an enjoyable dining experience!
Place is good nice place overall\
Kids food was horrible,. the burgers were hard as rock and the kids didn't even touch it
the briskets were excellent the rest seems like processed side that was microwaved
Very noisy, service long and not friendly. Expensive for quality
Unbielivable Great BBQ sandwich. With the red papers, horseradish sauce. Dipping sauce!, Wonderful!. Very different than any regular tasting BBQ sandwich, very juicy. Try it out!
Great food and a cute little place to go! We will go back!
It's a little pricey but you really get a gracious plenty. Not sure what's it's like at night noise wise but it is some of the best BBQ I've had in San Francisco.
Everything tasted like rancid garlic. Save your money and go somewhere else.
We visit the Pub when we are in SF. We usually are very happy with the food. This trip we had great service but two of us had chicken dishes, chicken noodle soup and chicken sliders. Both dishes had chicken skin and bone in them.
The service was so slow, we were never checked on and asked if we wanted refills, never updated on our food, it took over 45 min to get our order (only 2 of us) it took at least 15 minutes from the time we were seated to even order.
This is one of the better BBQ places in San Francisco. The food is at a fair price point comparable to other places in the city. The 2-3 meat plates are a great value or the amount of food served for the price. Caveat emptor - the 2 or 3 meat BBQ plates require 2-3 big appetites to finish them. I barely was able to finish just a plate of ribs all by itself. Each time I come here, I end up taking food home and snacking on it for at least one more day.
Delicious and Great food! Service was very slow and the waiters were not very attentive.
Food was good, seated under the stairs next to the toilet which could have been better!
We totally enjoyed our food! We had the fish and chips, and they had a nice, light batter with good fish. We also shared some of the traditional wings...again, tasty! Then, we had to have some of the local beers. We liked the descriptions given by our table staff!
The food quality was less than what you might find on a buffet line and our server never made an appearance after we asked to substitute brisket that was dry and tough. Enough said.
Made reservation arrived 15 min early only to be told they we closed because it was a slow night. Showed them my opentable reservation and their posted hours.. was told sorry
Enjoyed my dinner here with family. Fun place that gives large portions. Food is definitely rich, and was very full quickly. Lots of leftovers.
Food tasted a lot better than anticipated - was a quiet Friday night, but good service to enjoy a meal and a brew!
Delicious ribs abs brisket—our server recommended the homemade tater tots and they did not disappoint, fluffy inside, crispy outside, perfect—not a huge fan of bbq sauce but asked for more of theirs —great balance of vinegar tang and sweetness—all five in our party had different dishes and we were each impressed and happy with our meal
Buono il servizio
Second time I chose this place to have dinner before New Year fireworks, food is excelent and great price, ibetter to play safe and make a reservation.
Great range on the menu, great food (especially American BBQ meats), great value. Went there two nights in a row it was that good. Far better than the rest of it's local competition.
Located at the end of the Ghiardelli Square and a bit difficult to find.
Televisions were too loud, otherwise a great place for a family get together to take a look at the GG Bridge
Quick seating. Slow service. Kitchen seemed slow as well. Food was good once we got it. Asked for ranch and didn’t get it until after they started clearing plates.
We would have enjoyed the food more with a lot less hot chili pepper spice.
Staff was friendly and prompt.
The service was pretty slow... maybe it was just the night we came in but there wasn't very many people there and it took forever for our food to come out. Our drinks also trickled out but that's wasn't too big of a deal. The bathrooms were pretty grimy, which is scary cause that's the spot you go to wash up after piling BBQ into your face.
The food was good tho! I do recommend the BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich and the brisket. Tater tots are just regular ol' tater tots.
Stumbled upon this place while looking for Ghirardelli hours for upstairs. Shattered to find out it’s been open eight years and we didn’t know before! Big fans of BBQ and it was probably second only to Franklins in Austin. Service was great and we were well fed for the money spent. Can’t wait to go back!
