   A great physical space with interesting, unique design choices throughout, from lighting fixtures to seating. The food was also extremely inventive, but not pretentious. Wait staff knowledgable and friendly, though a little slow to clear plates. Definitely worth a splurge!

    Everything was very tasty. The service was excellent, the best. Ambience was good, not too noisy. Bathrooms clean. The hosts were very kind. As for the food, I thought the menu was a little confusing, but we worked it out. Dessert could have been better, there was a carrot cake that didn't taste at all like carrot cake. Made me think they need a dedicated pastry crew. Otherwise excellent. My favorite was the strawberry fava bean toasts and the grilled halibut.

    Duck is definitely a highlight. In general, all dishes are a bit too salty for me, but maybe I need to order more drinks to pair with the food. Service is good.

    Standard of food and service was very disappointing on my 2nd visit. Had some repeated dishes that were badly seasoned on this occasion. Drinks did not arrive for an hour. No apologies given and drink was charged at full price nonetheless. Overall, inconsistency across my visits

    I went to the restaurant for a casual dinner. The handsome space is casually furnished, well lit and is a little loud. The serving staff were professional, yet personable. The food on the other hand was unfortunately disappointing. Clearly this is a high concept food, presentations were impeccable. However, when the dish is named burrata one wishes to taste or see burrata. When you add anything hot to burrata it melts and becomes unrecognizable which was the case here. The beans that came with the dish were cooked perfectly to the detriment of the cheese. A dish which supposed to have rabbit in it, had some unrecognizable pieces of meet that lacked texture and taste. Morel mushrooms cooked perfectly and ricotta anolini overwhelmed whatever was served on the plate from the poor animal. Again the dish was beautiful to look at. I think overall only success was a tart; crust perfectly formed, the ingredients all recognizable on their own. The wines served by the glass have some interesting choices. I doubt I would return to this restaurant

    Super weird behavior of the wait staff. They seemed annoyed that we did not order a second bottle of wine. Then after waiting for 40+ minutes for our final dish, I said we were done and wanted to head out. I mentioned I was fine paying for the dish we did not receive. This did not go over well. The waiter became very agitated and hostile, quickly removing our place settings. I was embarrassed. This was my 4th time and last at the restaurant.

    Impeccable service with attention to details; preparation, presentation and taste was totally on point. This restaurant did not disappoint! It was our anniversary; hostess and servers all knew to greet and wished us happy anniversary! They set up a three topper at the end for the two of us, so it was roomy and comfortable! Every single dish we ordered was prepared well and flavor/texture was well balanced.

    We went for Mother’s Day and everything was perfect! Staff was really accommodating, friendly and answered all our questions. Our kids loved the potato cloud caviar and bbq duck the most!

    Here you will have to try their cloudy potato who doesnt love potato with caviars and their their presentation on this dish is very photogenic. you should each get one . its not meant to be shared . Based on the food i ordered and eaten (josey’s bread ,rabbit and morel pasta, duck) i think the chef really like sourness in the food . Everything has tangy sourness in it . its really good but when it got to the main dish my tongue would think even sparking water is salty and sour . i wish there was some different flavors except being al sour . for main duck dish even side pickles were sour . i had good experience but was very sour in my experience .     It’s not the first time dining at the Progress. This time was with my mother in law for a early Mother’s Day dinner. We enjoyed the food here as usual and especially impressed by the thoughtfulness of the service this time. We would definitely come back to here with other friends.

    Everything was incredible, flavorful, texturally interesting, and innovative with global influences. Shared the coal roasted peas & crispy galangal tofu, burrata & scarlet runner bean, dipping lettuce with pepita cream & fermented jalapeño, tierra vegetables masa dumplings with toma cheese & huitlacoche crema, caviar potato cloud, and my friend tried the barley dusted rossotti ranch veal.
