   Enjoyed Christmas dinner here. The Brut and wine choices made the evening, along with the view and service. This was a prix fix 3 course meal. I ordered the ribeye steak, it arrived already cut up, cold, and the portion size was 4 oz. maybe less due to 1 slice being pure fat (I decided not to complain to our server since it was Christmas Day. Enjoyed the sides the most, and again the beverages. I would come back again for lunch, but not dinner.

   I love Inverness and was pleased to see a new restaurant in an old location. They offered a set menu for Christmas lunch, which I thought was pricey at $55 each, but the food was fabulous. The very best Brussels Sprouts I have ever eaten! Great wine list, too. The restaurant deserved to be full up, but was nearly deserted at noon on Christmas. I will definitely be back for the brunch and lunch menus; lost of creative options. I hope the Privateer takes off and draws bigger crowds.

   Lunches in this bright, sunny spot right on Tomales Bay have been a delight. The food is fresh, local and delicious. The views are lovely for locals, memorable for visitors. Friendly, very welcoming staff add to this delightful experience. We look forward to their opening for dinner.

   Terrific burgers, lovely view but pretty barebones. I saw an amazing review for Thanksgiving day, when we went the next day I was expecting more and discovered they are still in 'set up' mode, for example, no desserts available for a birthday lunch. Do go and try their burgers!
