The Priory Inn cuenta con una reputación sobresaliente la cual se debe a la comida verdaderamente local junto con una genuina bienvenida excepcional. Siendo antiguamente un establo, las vigas expuestas, las tablas y la chimenea central del restaurante están a escasos minutos caminando desde el agitado mercado de la ciudad Costwolds en Tetbury. The Priory Inn dibujó un círculo de casi 50 kilómetros alrededor del restaurante en el 2008 y desde entonces 90% de la comida y bebida del lugar proviene de esa área. En este lugar se mantiene la creencia de que todo el mundo deberían saber de dónde provienen sus alimentos, y que la dedicación y habilidad de los granjeros y productores locales los impulsa a hace justicia a la alta calidad de los alimentos y bebidas que producen. En la misma forma en la que el horno de leña del Priory Inn cocina de manera simple carnes locales y productos frescos, también hornea deliciosas pizzas y pan. El bar ofrece cervezas artesanales de Costwold, sidras y cerveza de trigo, junto con algunas de las mejores cervezas tipo ale locales. Las familias siempre son bienvenidas ya que cuenta con varias delicias caseras para niños y también cuenta con la opción para que ellos preparen sus propias pizzas en su mesa.

Almost empty restaurant but we felt very rushed. Mains arrived as soon as the starters were cleared away and then straight onto dessert. Very Pleasant staff but food sadly mediocre. Live music was good but playing to an empty room.

Been here several times. We like the fact that they source ingredients from local suppliers - they really do use local producers. Their pizzas ( wood-fired oven ) are delicious - and HUGE. Love their burgers, and we were here as we had BOGOF burger vouchers. Plenty of variety and choice, and you can build your own - lots of choice for toppings and sides. BUT - when the two burgers arrived, where streaky bacon topping had been chosen, THERE WAS ONLY ONE RASHER! Costing £1! Are you joking! So - we complained ( nicely), and without any fuss got extra bacon. So they redeemed themselves. Their wine by the glass can also be a bit pricey. But we'd return. Nice staff - lovely food - garden to sit in.

terrible service, the waiting staff came three times within one minute of sitting down, I felt like I was being rushed, so they could use the table again. when the food came it was quite good, but there was no cutlery, we had to ask three separate times for things that were missing. when i asked for the bill it took another ten minutes to get it paid. this restaurant was recommended as the best in Tetbury, I hate to think what the others must be like, no thanks! I won't take a recommendation like this again. I was taking my aunt out to lunch and I was frankly embarrassed , expensive and not good.

Excellent food & wonderful service for our impromptu gastro-stop on our way home from a family trip to Slimbridge. A great find!

Great place for a relaxed meal. Quite a varied menu that appeals to all palates - pizza, burgers, kebabs, chicken and pork dishes. The staff our courteous, and the service is relaxed and can be a bit non the slow-side. Having said that the young Irish chap is good.

Our second time to this lovely restaurant. We are a family of 5 (our children are 11,7 and 4). This is a great place for families- the right mix of grown up and child appeal! The food was great- love how it is all locally sourced. The kids love the make your own pizza and the staff were very thoughtful in shout No them over to actually watch their pizzas going in to the oven to cook. Would definitely recommend.
