My hubby, our two young children and I went to Prime Street Grill for a belated Valentine's Day family dinner. The outside of the restaurant wasn't very appealing but the inside was was inviting, had sort of a romantic tone but still family-friendly. The first thing my daughter noticed when we sat down was that she wasn't given anything to color. Essentially, no kids activities were provided so YouTube on my phone became their entertainment. Our server was super nice, smiled a lot and gave us everything we requested including providing recommendations. We ordered surf and turf (crab cake and 6oz steak), Cajun pasta with scallops and shrimp, hush puppies, and for the kids mac n cheese and sweet potato fries. The food was EXCELLENT! Nuf said. Too bad we didn't take photos! We will def go again. This place is a jewel based on the location and I'm glad that we don't have to go outside of Charles County, MD to eat fantastic cuisine.

We've only been here a dozen times, but it's our choice for date night more than any other place. Food is great, it's a local place, but not a hole in the wall. Upscale, but not unreasonably priced.

We went for Valentine's Day. Even though they offered a modified menu to accommodate everyone for the holiday the food was superb. We've been there before and have never been disappointed.

My wife and i have frequented Prime Street over the years . We made reservations on VALENTINE Day to begin our 20th years of marriage. But this night, we had a hostess who did not seem welcoming nor friendly! We were seated next to a table with a very loud 4 year old child with his parents. Throughout our meal, the child was overly loud and the parents were unable to keep the child quiet. When the waitress was informed of the issues with the child and asked if we could be moved, she said “you need to ask the hostess” when my wife asked if she could check on moving tables, it was said all the tables had reservations but many were empty. At this point, we are not considering returning.

We have been to Prime St. Grill several times and we keep coming back because we like it. It is a wonderful locally owned restaurant and a really nice break from the abundant chain restaurants.
Keep up the good work.

Overall C-. Was seated in our reserved seats on time, but at the table near the door entrance. Asked to move to one of the other tables and was told no, those tables are taken. Salad was warm. Ordered the surf and turf. Steak was pretty good, but was disappointed in the crab cake because of too much filling(for the price). The server was attentive and did a nice job. The missus also ordered the surf and turf. Her steak was a medium rare (she ordered a medium well). We both liked the cole slaw. The baked potato was overcooked, but we ate them anyway. I thought the meal was decent but no where near as good as the price they charged us. I doubt we return here except maybe to get a drink and an appetizer at the bar. We were hoping this restaurant was going to be great because there simply isn't a good, quiet, upscale restaurant in Charles County (that we have found). Oh, by the way, we left one hour and 5 minutes later and the tables we asked about moving to when we arrived were still empty.

Always amazing food and great service. The food quality is always fresh and seasoned perfectly. Everyone I bring to try it, including a large group for special events, falls in love with the food. The quantity of food is comparable to the cost and I always have left overs which warm up perfectly the next day. I’m still impressed with this place after two years since I moved to the area.

I passed this restaurant several times, promising one day to dine there. It was mother in law BD and what a gem of a location. Easy to get to, free parking, employees were professional, attentive just really nice. And the food, good portions, well prepared delivered hot to my table. Everyone was satisfied and we all agreed to come back again

Great and diverse menu - you'll have a hard size deciding from the oversize crab-balls, to the lamb or beef. Literally something for everyone. The appetizer sizes are generous so one or two with a salad is great. I love their lamb chops - bite size and perfectly grilled - get them with the Cabernet Mushroom sauce for a real treat. My sister in law loves their guyere macaroni. Great salads with fresh ingredients. Almost never room for desert. It was also my mother-in-laws 95th Birthday and I noted that in the reservation - they gave her a beautiful plate of decadent chocolate cake with a special message written in a cherry reduction sauce. A lovely evening!

We came to celebrate my husband's and dad's birthdays. It was an awful experience all around. I made a reservation through Open Table (it was quick and easy), but once we arrived everything went downhill. It took what seemed like forever for our food to arrive after ordering. When the food did arrive, two out of five meals were completely wrong ( which was the servers fault). It took another 30 to 45 minutes to receive their replacement meals. The third meal was cold, the fourth and fifth meals were disgusting. The manager offered us dessert for our troubles, then we received the check for full price of everything. After my husband confronted the manager, two meals were comped, but in the meantime the hostess came over to tell us that it was time to leave so that their next reservation could be seated in 15 minutes... I have never had an experience like this at a restaurant before. We will never go back. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Poor service, poor food, and poor hospitality.

Every piece of seafood I had was over cooked (lobster tail, shrimp imperial, surf and turf). Meals sound great on the menu but didn’t deliver in flavor or cookery when they arrived at the table. I did think the portions were generous. The drink menu was good. I’d recommend this place for a happy hour. Maybe my expectations were high because the restAurant is featured on open table. I was disappointed.
