Very good...food is delicious and the environment was great
We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and upon arrival were greeted by two hostesses that acknowledged our occasion. Our waiter, Flower, was amazing. She knew the menu and made suggestions that really lived up to her explanation. The food was great, cooked to perfection and our requirements. All-in-all it was a memorable evening and we will definitely come again. Thanks for the complementary anniversary dessert.
Everyone from the hostess to the the manager were perfect. We celebrated out 8th wedding anniversary. Although everyone wished us a happy anniversary we didn't get anything special :0( but i didn't matter we had a great time
I want to thank David our waiter he was great!!!
Mostly watched our waitress fawn over her bigger tables. Expected much more from this establishment, it's night and day from service and ambiance from the Charles street location. Guess we expected too much, we cut out after appetizers after being mostly ignored and rushed when we did get attention. Maybe Saturday nights are just better for larger parties. Food tho, was exceptional.
i wouldn't recommend based on the fact that the reception was good but service and food was really poor for that price. The food did not taste good at all, too much salt and even though the Peruvian chicken took 45minutes to cook it was not thoroughly cooked had a chunk of raw seasoning and tasted a bit too burnt for my liking so it wasn't worth the pricing. Also the garnishing looked too simple just chicken and a slice of lemon on the plate.
Great ambiance. And they nailed the cook temps on the steaks.
Unfortunately they were very understaffed (at 1 point, our server apologized to us for not being able to check back with us because he had just gotten 8 tables).
Lobster tail was room temp and over-cooked as well.
I have had good experiences here before, but this was a sub-par night and the experience was not worth the price.
This is a nice dinner spot however, the attire is more casual that we would have liked. There were several guests who came in with blue jeans and tennis - removing their baseball caps before they dined. We were seeking something more upscale, but the food was great!
As we were prompt seated we were asked if it was a special occasion, I said it was our anniversary. We started with house salad, which was just ok, clam casino, which were very tiny but tasty. We shared the filet Oscar and 2 lobster tails. While dinner was good it would have been better if the temperature was better. Our server asked as well if we were celebrating, but nothing was done.
Much better than last time due to better service. He was very apologetic when 2 meals came out almost raw and had to be sent back. Filet was nicely seasoned.
The food was good but took way to long to get it. The steaks came out barley warm.
Great dinning atmosphere, awesome customer service from all staff, and well prepared food. My sister and ordered the Sea bass. It was amazingly delicious. I recommend for anyone that loves fish. Try the Sea bass!!!! You won’t regret it..
Birthday with best friends... to loud in the restaurant food was wonderful as always just wish it were a little quieter.
Richard is always so wonderful and accommodating!!!
"I love the quiet, elegant ambience of the restaurant. The wedge lettuce salad with blue cheese dressing was refreshing but had a hair in it. The table was split on the Sea Bass – one person thought it was great, but I felt that it was under cooked and bland. The drinks were strong and affordable. Service was extremely well-timed, professional and friendly. $10 for a baked potato is ridiculous. Entrees do not come with sides. I will not return because of the prices. Not worth the money. The Live music was terrible.
I celebrated my Birthday dinner with my best girlfriend at The Prime Rib at Live! Casino & Hotel. She ordered the crab cake entree, and I had the crab imperial entree, with sides of mashed and baked potato and the asparagus. Both meals were exceptionally delicious! My compliments to the chef!
However, as wonderful as this exceptionally delicious meal was, the service by Francisco surpassed all expectations of my whole experience of dining at The Prime Rib! His professionalism, personalty and attentiveness were the best part of my evening and his expertise is hereby commended!
Playing a loud piano of Mozart during Monday night football - when everyone there was watching the game.
Someone needs a wake up call
The prime rib was extremely fatty. The ceasar salad was underwhelming. The bright spot was our server.
Wine was flat and the replacement glass was flat - asked for a Kir Royale (not the first time I have had one) waiter did not know what it was - and I am guessing the bartender didn't know either - it was brought to me in a wine glass - always served in a champagne flute - champagne was flat -
Service was ok - we were seated at a table for 2 in the middle of the room - next to a table of 7 - that was somewhat inconsiderate -
seems the wait staff has had a considerable turn over - maybe that was their problem.
Very disappointing - we go there for special occasions..
Claims were REALLY small
This is our go to restaurant for special occasions. As implied by the name, they are known for their prime rib and it is delicious. And the full cut is such a generous portion we usually share and still bring home a nice portion.
Its a shame that the reproducibly outstanding food found at the Prime Rib in downtown Baltimore is not aimed for at Live. The roast beef was smaller, without the bone and seasoning and without the freshly shaved horseradish. The Greenberg potato skins were oily feeling. We did have a very pleasant waiter who helped us enjoy the evening, despite our disappointments.
Food was great especially the Oyster Chesapeake. Service was slow due to the restaurant being under staffed. Ribeye was delicious. Whiskey sour was average.
Meal was ok Inwas not inpressed woth meal or food atcall. Presentation was great, service was aweaome hut food aas medicore for that price
For the price of the food the quality should be better my Salmon was overcooked and dry. I have had better food for less money. Other than that the experience was nice.
Our server, Francisco, was amazing. The food was wonderful, and the wine was great!
We received wonderful service. The hostess was very polite and welcoming. Our server Tom was very attentive, professional and kind.
I had the lamp chops and my husband had the pork chop. We were celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary and it was truly special. It's wonderful to know that the service we received last year from The Prime Rib at Live at our wedding still holds true. Great work.
Service has been subpar each time we have visited. I expect better from a high end steakhouse. Prime rib was tough, waiter was no where to be found.
All was good, food, service etc... Still a bit pricey even for very good steak. Could not reservations for time we wanted but the restaurant was half empty the entire time we were there?
The food at The Prime Rib is top quality. My husband and I both Ordered a Filet with lobster tail. Both were succulent and cooked as ordered.
Our server suggested a very nice wine that paired perfectly with our meal. The Caesar salad came first and was prepared nicely. Bread was served warm with a variety to savor. We Also had a side of potatoes that also complimented our meal. Had our eye on the Creme Brûlée for dessert but passed as our meal was very filling. Maybe next time!
Our server Flower was exceptional and explained the menu to us as needed. Management has done a nice job here and were visible throughout the restaurant if needed. Looking forward to our next meal at The Prime Rib!
We were underwhelmed by our dining experience and expected the food to be much better. The Buzz’s Salad was mediocre and the lobster bisque was extremely salty. The filet mignon was good though salty, and the strip steak was disappointing. The menu said nothing about the strip steak being butterflied so we were surprised that what should have been a juicy cut of meat was a piece of shoe leather, about 1/2-inch thick, containing a lot of fat and gristle. The joke of the evening was dessert: three items on the menu were unavailable and a fourth appeared to have been discontinued but left on the menu. The two items we tried, apple pie and chocolate cake, were good, however, and the servings were enormous. Drinkwise, we were not offered any choice in water (still, sparkling, etc) and were served tap water. We opted for cocktails (old fashioneds) but they too were mediocre and the waiter didn’t seem to have a handle on the bourbon options available so we ended up with low-end brands. The restaurant also used tiny ice cubes rather than a single large cube, and used bright red maraschino cherries rather than something darker like Luxardo. Not a sign of a fine cocktail establishment. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, however.
As always food and service were awesome. Our waiter Jody was great. Very attentive throughout the complete service.
Great food & atmosphere!
There was a long delay after our appetizers and before our dinner was served maybe an hour?
We love this place and have been trying to get here once per month. The last two times we have been there the service has been horrible. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed with the number of tables he had and neglected us. An alternate server needed to take our order because our server was too busy. We waited one hour from the time we received our appetizers to get our meal. My husbands prime rib was cold, it was cooked to medium rare but clearly had been sitting around and got cold. My 8az filet was also cooked perfect but not hot at all. I expect better service when we eat here. Something needs to change.
Full disclosure- I did complain about his prime rib and it was removed from our bill.
Food was great, as was the ambiance. We were there for our anniversary. While the hostess acknowledged that, the waiter did not. Was disappointed with that.
Our server, Jodie was a real delight. She made our dining experience, special. She was very friendly and efficient. The food was good and prepared well.
The food wasn't very good for the price. My Prime Rib was tough and was medium well, not medium as I'd ordered. Two others got their food well done when they ordered medium. One order was totally wrong. Everyone else (there were 8 of us) had finished before the two received their food. The salad I had, had way too much dressing and I like a lot of dressing. Two other salads had almost no taste. When we received the check, my son-in-law questioned why they were charging for the very late orders and the manager wasn't very nice at all.
We would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. To pay over $800 (including tip) and not enjoy dinner is just not acceptable!!! This was my husband's 80th birthday celebration, and we really looked forward to the evening. We don't normally spend that kind of money for dinner and it was very disappointing.
The wait staff were amazing. Flower could not have been better. There are several things that were pretty bad. First, the menu from the open table app was completely inaccurate. All of the pricing was incorrect. The offerings were not accurate. (For example, the App menu had an Italian option that hasn't been offered for over 4 years. The App menu offered a couple of surf n turf options. None were available. The App menu offered several complete meal options, where the entire on site menu was a la carte.) When I brought this up to Flower, she informed her manager. The restaurant was not particularly busy, but the manager never came to the table to explain the inaccuracies. Flower was very helpful in explaining the menu options. We ordered and the experience went downhill. My son ordered the lobster bisque. It was so salty that neither of us could eat it. I ordered calamari and it was quite acceptable. There were other appetisers that were also acceptable. I ordered the strip steak between medium and medium rare. It came out somewhere between medium well and well done. I did not return the steak as it was getting late and I did not feel like waiting for a replacement. The other meals were acceptable. Please notice that I rated the food acceptable. I would not expect dinner for 4 costing over $400 to be simply acceptable. This is supposed to be the signature restaurant for Live Casino. I expect better.
We had some problems with service prior to a show at the casino. The manager on duty that evening made sure that our problems were resolved and really saved our dining experience. I understand mistakes happen, but his professionalism, concern, and attention really elevated our dining experience. I would return based on his management alone.
Great dinner and ambiance in a small space. WIll say it was quiet loud in the main dining room. Had a hard time hearing our server.
