Father’s Day Brunch
Fathers Day Brunch. This is the third time at The Prescott, and it has never failed to deliver fantastic food, fantastic service, and very reasonable prices. A MUST TRY.
There was nothing about our visit that we didn't enjoy!
Loved everything we had and the service was wonderful!
Excellent meal. Outstanding service. Perfect for special occasion.
If you’re looking for upscale dining without fussy unrecognizable ingredients, this is your spot! Trey creates beautiful dishes that are a delight to your tastebuds and your eyes. A very special place to eat, relax with friends and savor a delicious meal.
Our experience @ The Prescott was quite nice. The food for the most part was great. The soup came out cold and tasted more like water. The surf & turf was great along with cauliflower Caesar Salad. Nice experience, definitely needs more small plates.
Great experience! Great service and food was exceptional!
A truly outstanding restaurant. We have traveled and dined from Vegas, to Caribbean resorts, to fine dining in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Prescott is the best he have been to yet. Congratulations to Chef Trey Prescott and staff for such a fine establishment.
This was our 44th wedding anniversary and we had the surf and turf. Everything was perfect and my wife was well pleased. Parking was easy and the service was great. Every dish had been given care and the drinks were smooth. I will return again as soon as possible and will tell my friends.
As usual, The Prescott was amazing. Consistently good food, presentation, service and ambience.
Food and service were very good with attentive staff . This is a wannabe a fine ding restaurant and it comes close . The only issue we had was wine selection not very big and extremely limited by the glass . Only one choice for Chardonnay and one choice for Pinot Griso. We’ll go back as good was good .
If you would like a nice dining experience, and are willing to spend a little more, definitely go to Prescott. My salad and dessert was wonderful. My halibut was very fresh, but could have used a little acidity, maybe like lemon juice in the sauce. I am not sure, but after a few bites, it was missing flavor. I was a little bored. The presentation was beautiful. I would definitely go back again.
Our 21st Anniversary and what a wonderful place to spend it. Brett was absolutely amazing and attentive. He could explain every dish to the final ingredient. The food was delish and the presentation extraordinary. We will be back for sure. Worth the 23 min drive from Greensboro. This is located where Bistro B use to be.
While I found the brunch menu limited overall and heavier on breakfast items, but light on lunch items, the food was excellent. Given my party was celebrating Mother's Day and had a reservation, I was concerned when we were seated kiddie corner behind the host stand and directly across from the kitchen doors.
As I expected, the constant traffic in and out of the kitchen was distracting and took away from the experience. This annoyance became severe disappointment when at the end of our meal a server made a comment about a patron, at another table, as they were entering the kitchen. The server said "That b***h doesn't know what medium is". I can only surmise that there was a disagreement surrounding the temperature of this patron's steak.
The fact that my family, including my 8 year old son, had to hear profanity from a grossly unprofessional server ruined the meal/experience. It is a shame, given how good the food was, that The Prescott employs that type of server and, therefore, condones that type of behavior. Note, I did not hear this person rebuked, but instead only heard agreement and laughter from their fellow staff, already in the kitchen. Hence this behavior, albeit passively because no one wants to deal with this uncomfortable situation, is condoned.
For this reason, I will not be recommending nor returning to The Prescott.
Great restaurant in downtown Kernersville!
The food was excellent as was the presentation. Service was excellent too. Would recommend highly for any occasion.
The food is always wonderful here. Our last visit the service was slow, but all the times before the service has been fantastic as well. Love this place!
Tried out this new farm-to-table restaurant in Kernersville. Rainy night for the Street Festival meant it was a bit chaotic when we arrived. But the staff made every effort to make sure we had a nice evening in spite of the unexpected crowds. The food was beautifully presented and carefully prepared. Really nice flavors with nothing overdone and great combinations of interesting and fresh ingredients. I love it when a salad has exactly the right amount of dressing and the shrimp are perfectly cooked. This place is a keeper. Well done, Chef!
Had a wonderful time. Met some people in the bar & wound up watching the Kentucky Derby.
What a fantastic new find! Food and service were TOP NOTCH all the way. My wife and I had a meal that would have easily been over $200 in a major city, and paid less than $100 including two dinners, and two deserts. If you are looking for a fine dining experience without the Fine Dining price tag this is the spot for you.
The service was excellent. The risotto was a delight. I especially enjoyed the Pinot Grigio that my server recommended.
I am delighted to have a restaurant of this caliber in Kernersville. Well worth the drive from Winston, Greensboro or High Point. Beautiful food, presentation, wine and cocktail selection and attentive staff.
The Prescott is a pleasant surprise in downtown Kernersville. The food was very good, although the Easter Brunch menu felt a bit limited. We couldn't order from the dinner menu, so can't speak to that. Every member of my party enjoyed their meal. The portion sizes were good and we left feeling we had enough to eat. Add some live jazz and it will be the PERFECT dinner spot. Will definitely visit again!
In a mood to try something new, we made the drive from Greensboro and the Prescott definitely did not disappoint. One of us had trigger fish, the other halibut, beautifully prepared and presented. The same was true of fresh, locally sourced salads. A serving of lighter-than-air lemon mousse was the perfect sweet ending. The ambience was quiet and relaxing, the service attentive and unhurried. We will definitely be back.
The food, service, drinks are fantastic! We are thrilled to have a gem in Kernersville!
This restaurant is a breath of fresh air! The service and ambiance is what you'd expect from an upscale restaurant. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. The food....ohhh the food was out of this world. We have travelled all over the world and this meal could rival any 3 Star Michelin Restaurant we have eaten at. A gem in such a small town. Dietary concerns were honored with great care. I had coffee at a restaurant for the first time EVER since they had almond milk. Amazing...just amazing!
My 12 year old grandson and I went for his Birthday dinner. We were very impressed with the food, décor, ambience and the friendliness of the staff. Our waiter, Jeremy, was very attentive. The seafood casserole was amazing, as were the other 3 courses.
The food and service is outstanding! I had the seafood risotto, preceded by the Caesar salad and everything was delicious and you got enough food to be satisfied! A huge improvement over their predecessor
Amazing food. WONDERFUL service! We loved every bite! Complimentary valet too! Special place!
Only downside is it’s about 30 mins from High point
We loved the food and service. N.C. Shrimp appetizer is amazing!
Truly one of the best restaurants in all of North Carolina. It was a delicious find in a sweet little town not far from High Point when we were there for Market. The wine list was fabulous, the service divine and each course exceeded expectations. If you drive within 50 miles of this place, you should take a detour and go there. It is definitely a destination restaurant that you do not want to miss. :-)
What a great addition to Triad dining !
All aspects of the dining experience were outstanding........ knowledgeable waiter, good ambiance, reasonably quiet atmosphere, roominess, but most of all an eloquent meal served first class and it was exceptional.
I wish them well because it is very apparent that they are attempting to do it RIGHT !
Good luck !
Food was amazing. Drinks could’ve been stronger for the price, but still delicious. Ambience missed the mark somehow. Decor could be way better. Service was good but got asked multiple times if the food was bad??? Like... don’t even give your customers the idea that your restaurant could be bad. But again, Food was amazing.
My wife and I tried The Prescott for the first time Saturday evening, and I would characterize the experience as just short of exceptional. All of our food items were between excellent and outstanding ( the shrimp and scallops ravioli was particularly noteworthy). Our server was pleasant, and the free valet parking was a nice touch. Only a couple very minor details fell short of the upscale experience to which this restaurant aspires. The ambiance inside is good, not great (feels like a fresh coat of paint on an otherwise uninspired interior). Being asked to keep our used utensils between courses struck us both as a bit odd for an otherwise high end restaurant. Bottom line - it was a great meal in a town not otherwise known for great meals. We’ll be back.
The Prescott met all the compliments we have heard and read about this fine restaurant! The food was outstanding. Both of us had the salmon which was perfectly prepared with a delicious sauce. One of us had a beautiful, large salad, and one, the onion soup which was also very tasty. The wine we chose for accompaniment was superb, and dessert which we split was perfect, Key Lime Pie.
We were very impressed and will certainly pay other visits to The Prescott for excellent fine dining experiences!
We decided to try a new restaurant for our special family dinner Saturday evening. There was a parking assistance for free. Was greeted pleasantly and seated at a nicely prepared table immediately. The drink and wine choices were excellent. One waiter served us and was initially attentive, but the service became sparse midway into the meal. The bread basket was brought in later into the meal after the starters. Bread pieces were dry and nothing special. Only one small basket was provided for a party of 6. We had to ask for more. The second basket did not arrive for awhile. The food was excellent with good quality and presentation. At the end of the meal, we were told that no espresso but regular coffee was available. What was served to us was diluted coffee of a fast food chain quality. We were looking for a fine dining experience. From that viewpoint, food was good, but service was not up to par. If the restaurant owner aspires to run a fine dining establishment, he/she should train the staff better and improve quality of what are served all around.
