Overall great experience. Pleasant, friendly staff-all wore masks and/or face shields
Cauliflower Caesar salad was outstanding! Can't wait to go back soon!
Outstanding as always!!!
Been here several times. Never had a bad meal or experience.
Fantastic! I had the seafood risotto and my husband got the filet. Both were delicious. Great service and atmosphere. Will definitely be going back!
Chef accessible and eager to assure a pleasant dining experience. Very interesting and varied menu. Food very good. Nice ambience and our waitress was a hoot and very attentive. Wish she would keep her mask intact.
This is the most wonderful restaurant for any occasion! Cuisine is magnificent. Service is great and attentive. Atmosphere is relaxing and on the quiet side, so conversation is comfortable. Highly recommend.
One active server other than the chef. That created extended waits. But food is great.
Excellent food. Great service. We will be back for sure.
My husband and I went for our first visit to The Prescott for lunch to celebrate our anniversary. We were kindly greeted by our waitress who placed us at a candle lit table by the window. It was very quiet, as we had reserved the first time of the day and were the first customers to arrive. They pleasantly surprised us each with a serving of bubbly along with a small freshly made appetizer, which was and explosion of flavors, very tasty. We ordered berry mojitos, they were blended with fresh berries and mint and tasted excellent. We ordered the scallops appetizer (my favorite), they were made perfectly so it was wonderful. We decided to share two entrees, and they graciously plated them split-up for us. Our plates of the honey chicken were amazing, tender and perfectly prepared with perfect blend of flavors. We ordered seconds on the mojito cocktails, and then we were just too stuffed to order any dessert. We will definitely go back to this restaurant. The setting is beautiful within the center of historic downtown Kernersville, and there was a feeling of connectedness to other people, despite the current COVID outbreak. The restaurant was very clean and the staff wore masks as required. There was a feeling of leisure and relaxation as we watched through the window. A family with children chose to sit at one of the outdoor tables, enjoying the weather. A spa across the way set up a table with menu of service options and offered free apples to passers by (they were wrapped in cellophane). People were very respectful of one another and pleasant. We were wished happy anniversary by people who overheard us leaving, just people being friendly and kind.
Outstanding food and service. Marked noise as moderate as they had a band playing. Great wines, food and service. Even the owner stopped by to check on us. We will be regulars
Love the attention to detail with every item of food merit out.. the amose bouche, adds extra class and interest to the dining experience. Servers as always, excellent.
It was really good to dine in instead of takeout after 3 months! Happy to see the Prescott’s open, and love the new menu. Our waitress was Keely and we enjoyed her attention to details and recommendations. We had Pamlico Walnut Shrimp for appetizer, bistro salad and the Prescott Filet Special. They were all beautifully prepared and very tasty, especially the Filet special with big scallop and lobster tail. For dessert, we had the apple brandy bread pudding with caramel and maple bourbon ice cream. That was amazingly delicious!
Great food. Friendly service. Nice atmosphere.
It was a birthday celebration. It was lovely!
Everything was great. So excited to be able to dine in.
Fantastic menu at unbelievably reasonable prices! I would’ve been happy paying 20-30% more for the quality of food, the service which was outstanding, and the intimate atmosphere. We will definitely be going back often.
The food is always delicious. One of our favorite places to go for dinner! The seafood risotto was delicious. The bread pudding was amazing!
Food was excellent, service was OK. We were glad to see the restaurant quite busy. We all need to support our local establishments!
The Prescott has managed to maintain its promise as a refined restaurant in Kernersville in its first year or so. We first visited when it had recently opened and in the ensuing year plus, it has successfully overcome any issues that new restaurants face. It is an upscale yet relaxed setting and we love its carefully chosen menu and how we can rely on dishes that always deliver. We were particularly please with our server this time, Tonya, who was knowledgeable and skilled in suggesting wines and dishes, and was helpful yet not at all overbearing, as some servers can become.
An all round pleasurable dinner out!
Excellent service and wonderful food!
We had a lovely meal Saturday evening - the staff was very attentive! Food was delicious, excellent wine list. Regarding the wine - the wine glasses were rental quality - need a better glass for great wines!
Great food, good service and wonderful atmosphere!
Best food in the Triad and beyond!! I have not had a bad dish at this restaurant. Awesome!
The food was excellent. They had some very original dishes that I had zero complaints with. The service just could have been better. If the service was as good as the food, I could more easily recommend this restaurant. However, to me it felt like they have a really good chef, and everyone else was trying to live up to the chef’s quality. A true high-end restaurant, and I’ve been to quite a few, is seamless in this aspect from the moment you enter the door to the moment you leave, and with everything you experience and everyone you interact with in between. I think they definitely have some potential, but just need a little work.
Enjoyed a great Sunday brunch with my wife and kids. The Irish coffee was tasty and I would definitely get the Lobster Benedict again!
Lovely meal on Valentines Day with exceptional food and service
Ate at the Prescott for the first time on Valentine’s Day. The food was excellent and our waitress was great. Only complaint is that overall it was a little pricey and the wait for food was long but somewhat expected on a holiday that packed the restaurant. We would definitely eat here again for another special occasion in the future.
Was not informed a head of time that the dinner for 2 did not include 2 appetizers & 2 deserts. But overall nice experience
My wife have been here three times and every time the food and service is great. This is by far the best restaurant in Kernersville. The Chef is the best!
The food was amazing and our server, Keeley, was great, too. She timed each course just right. She was also fun to talk too. The only downside was that I ate WAY TOO much because everything was delicious.
The service was the big disappointment. The food was good. The frois gras was very nice. My wife's sea bass was very good. I had the "barrel cut ribeye" which wasn't a ribeye, and was probably a cut of meat from the cow's shoulder or hind quarter, but was cooked nicely. I'll give them another shot, because I know the business.
Good food but a bit pricey for this area. Loved the local sourcing. We told them several times it was my moms birthday dinner and they never acknowledged it at all. Not expecting free dessert although that would have been nice but at least a candle or a Happy Birthday or something as this is definitely a special occasion kind of place. Step it up!!
We enjoyed our overall experience, though with the restaurant being quite small the music could be quieter. As for the food no complaints everything was delicious.
We have been to the Prescott a few times and this was by far the worst experience. The amuse bouche was delicious, but the plates were not cleared. A server delivered the wrong dinners to our table. Mine happened to be the same as the other table's, the rib eye, but my husband received the lamb shank instead of the pork shoulder. He did not recognize what it was and tasted it to find it was lamb, which he does not like. I offered to switch and I tasted it and it was described as "braised" but it tasted unseasoned so I took my steak back. The waitress for the other table told us it was not our food and said she would get the manager. The manager never came over. The waitress for our table was uninformed by the staff that there was a problem and was surprised to hear that my husband was still waiting for the correct dish. A bus girl followed up for us prior to our waitress coming back to the table to check for us. When the correct dish arrived, it was pretty good. I did not receive a steak knife for my rib eye and the bus girl also took care of that for me. I heard one of the other servers say that the owner/chef had just walked through the dinning room, however he never stopped by our table or the other table to apologize for the mix up. In fact no one apologized except for the bus girl. I will try this restaurant again after a while to see if they have fixed their service issues because some of the food is pretty good and the ambiance is very nice. To the owner: acknowledge when something goes wrong so you can fix it, have steak knives sent to the table before the dinner and clear used dishes from the table for a better dining experience. Also, give the bus girl a promotion :-)
Excellent food. Will return. Steak was perfectly cooked. Very creative plates and pairings. Wait staff were very friendly. Three star service review was due to food delivered to the wrong table and having to wait longer. However, the staff apologized and comp'd a starter plate. We will go back regardless of the service mishap - the food was that Good.
Fantastic. Try the rabbit stew for a true culinary experience.
We were very pleased with the lovely atmosphere and outstanding service by Tanya. Details are important at the Prescott, down the the pressed and carefully folded napkins/towels that elevated the tactile elements of the service. The celebratory prohibition special cocktail list was nicely adventurous.
The platter of local meats and cheeses was a delightful and creative first course, allowing the diners to create their own combinations and preferences. Our entrees, a lovely thick pork chop and the venison meatloaf suited each of our palettes. And the wonderful manager completely soothed over a bit of kitchen temperature/timing issue, with a complimentary dessert. Thank you for all your care, sophistication, and ambition for creating this gem to the Triad. I'm very happy to travel the extra distance for this outstanding venue.
Great food and atmosphere.
Food was REALLY good, had a couple of issues that quickly got resolved. Highly recommend this gem, it is worth making the drive from wherever you are in the Triad. Ask for Keely, she will take good care of you!
I met friends for appetizers and drinks and could not have had a more pleasant experience! The cozy bar was staffed with a friendly bar tender who was attentive and so kind. The Chef’s display of seared tuna and lobster dip were as beautiful as they were delicious. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant with local ingredients, delicious food and wonderful staff as soon as you can!
