The Powis Arms is a traditional Georgian coaching inn devoted to serving delicious, local food from menus that morph and change according to the seasons, paired with a straightforward wine list, spirits and regional beer selection.

The Powis Arms has been at the heart of this historic village for over 200 years. Today the building welcomes its locals and visitors with open arms, offering a place to sit down, relax, and enjoy some of the best food and drink in the county, surrounded by friends, family and neighbours…your dogs are welcome too! It was very good food & cheerful service. My wine selection was limited and we booked a table for the 10th but it cane though as the 17th. Overall it was a lovely roust lunch and happy service glad I didn’t have to cook it!

Great place for Sunday lunch. Hot, fresh, great tasting roast dinners - and tons of it! The gravy boat load of custard with the sticky toffee pudding was the icing on the cake! Smart place, friendly and efficient service! All round great experience.
