Welcome to the Powder Room, where swankiness meets fun and bubbles flow freely! As two enterprising women and avid bubble enthusiasts, we saw a void in our area for a place that encompassed everything we craved—a meeting space, a refreshing oasis, a haven for celebrations or forgetfulness of worries. Thus, the Powder Room was born.

Our journey has been a long time in the making, fueled by years of conversations and dreams. As single moms, business owners, and lifelong residents of Tacoma, we found solace in our shared love for travel, good times, and of course, champagne. With the support and excitement of our daughters and "adopted daughters," the Powder Room has become a space where connection is celebrated and joyful indulgence is encouraged.

Super cute bar. Loved the service and vibe. Delicious food qnd drinks. The staff was super friendly! Definitely will be bringing more friends to check it out.

Communication with the restaurant for a slight update on reservations was good and prompt. Staff were all very nice and aware, in a positive way, that it was a busy day (Mother's Day). Food was very good, notably the hollandaise on the benedict was deliciously light and my dad said the steak from the steak and eggs dish was tender and he considered it a top steak he's had.

The ambiance is super fun, and the staff were very friendly. I imagine this might be a great place to come for drinks. However, if you’re a foodie looking for dinner options, I would skip this place. Although the food is beautifully presented, for the price… it’s mediocre at best. We had brunch here and my order of “medium rare steak and eggs” came in with a tiny, fatty, and well done. The eggs were cold and not remotely fluffy. My daughter’s waffles looked like a million bucks on the plate, but were not even remotely warm and unpleasantly mushy. To their credit, the breakfast potatoes were delicious, and my wife’s eggs Benedict were decent. Still, it is not a place we will return to for anything other than drinks.

Food was disappointing overall. I thought potatoes and arugula salad were good. Several of us had eggs Benedict and were disappointed.

The server was not kind, she actually rolled her eyes at me when I said we’d be leaving after one drink. Wouldn’t recommend and will not return.

Super cute place and great food. Service was good. Only thing holding me back from 5 stars was the music was way too loud for brunch time. We asked them to turn it down which they did but still hard to hear the people in our party talk across the able. Needs to be more background music than DJ loud music for a brunch setting IMO.

The staff and waitress were awesome! But the live DJ & music made it way too loud to hear across the table. Everyone had to lean in and we had to speak really loudly, which was a little annoying over breakfast. We all agreed it was way too loud for conversation over a meal. (ages in our group - 20’s & 40’s). The lox and their scones were amazing but way too much jam on the scones in my opinion(2 inch high globs of jam). We had to scrape some off. The breakfast tacos were just so-so, very simple, not much ingredients. They looked a little sad. Same with the frittata. Very bland tasting and more like an overcooked omelette with little substance. It looks like a fun place to go to get drunk with your girlfriends, dance around, celebrate a birthday or bridal shower, but not a great place for good food and conversation. Try someplace else for that.
