With its slick & sophisticated interior and unique Food & Beverage offering The Powder Keg will offer a unique dining and drinking experience with a approachable and quality food offering headed up by Roy Ner (Aria) & Elijah Holland (Aria, Jonahs) and a unique small bar concept we are offering a bespoke mix of experiences all under one roof. With a late night food offering and tray service until closing in the Restaurant and pre & post dining Cocktails in the “Keg Room” bar which also features a boutique range of wines, liquors & beers. The name derives from the early origins of Gin which era was the same as the infamous Guy Fawkes Gunpowder Plot where he was actually betrayed and arrested sitting on a Powder Keg. The Powder Keg is also a euphemism for a “Potent Mix or Blend”. The Powder Keg Potts Point will be exactly that a potent mix of great food, unique cocktails, a quality beers & wine offering in a warm friednly environment.

Not really sure what happened on Xmas Eve but things just didn't run to plan at Powder Keg. Pleasant enough service staff asking the right questions but that was it! 35 mins to get a drink? $42 for a martini and an average glass of Prosecco. Forget about the glass of water. We didn't wait to try and order food, would have really stretched the friendship.

The Powder Keg was a great way to spend a quiet Friday night, a few G&T's, some yummy food in a relaxed environment. The service was great and the food interesting and moderately priced.

Great friendly service, the chef served us the food and explained each of the elements, the cocktails were incredible, the room felt very comfortable with the lighting perfect after a long day in a bright office. The table we were sat at was very comfortable - we stayed from 7 pm through to 12 pm!

The powder keg was a lovely dining experience. My boyfriend and I chose the restaurant due to the extensive gin list- this did not disappoint. On top of this the service was outstanding and our waiter was lovely. As a vegetarian I was also very happy with the food I could have-there was enough choice to keep me very happy!
