The small plate burrata and honey was delicious! The smoked chicken ravioli was a huge disappointment by comparison. Way too salty to enjoy. My husband’s meatballs tasted “smoked”, which we weren’t a fan of either. Neither of us enjoyed our entire. Strong start with a mediocre finish. Service was pretty good.
Great family time on stay cation
Menu sounded great, but when food came, the pasta dish was sticky, like rice, and lacked adequate (dry),not moist at all. We were celebrating our 49th Anniversary, staff made a big deal when we were seated, but when we said no to ordering dessert, they gave us our check without any mention of our anniversary. The couple behind us, receive two birthday desserts!!!!
Extensive wine list and excellent food. Could improve on their hostess capabilities.
Appetizers and drinks were excellent. Staff was wonderful. Main courses were mediocre.
Nice quiet little hideout. Great meal
This was by far my favorite meal on the island. Very much farm to table, and upscale a the same time. I highly recommend adding this to your plans.
Our last night on Maui after 2 weeks on the island. Dinner was fabulous. Lamb Chops were delicious.
Excellent in all ways, the ingredients are outstanding. Be sure to try the buratta cheese; it is so good. Great place to eat family style so that you can tase as many dishes as possible. There is an excellent wine list to choose from.
Great food, service and ambiance!!! We would highly recommend!
The food was delicious, and the staff was attentive and so kind! We will defiantly be back!
This restaurant was the most pleasant surprise on our trip to Maui. We found it online when we looked for restaurants in Kaanapali. Both the seafood pasta dish I had and the chicken pasta dish my wife had were outstanding. The service was excellent and owner/chef came out to meet us and thank us for coming. Can't wait to try other Items on the menu on our next trip to Maui.
The server had to be reminded twice about my sons drink. The food was saturated in garlic, overbearing actually. My pasta was dry. The place is adorable though and the guitar player/singer was awesome!
This is the best restaurant on Maui. Food is outstanding coupled with great service. Music is also best we have listened to on the island. The restaurant is a gem not to be missed.
Food was not good. Bruschetta was not toasted - soft squishy bread. Chopped salad not chopped. Meatballs taste funny. Very quiet which is nice but few people in there so seemed vacuous. Skip it.
We LOVED the Pour House. Laura (owner), greeted us and seated us and checked on us frequently. The wine selection was superb. The food was amazing top.....I had the 5 cheese tortellini and loved it. Would recommend this to anyone who loves good Italian food. We will be back.
They sat us immediately, brought out our drinks, appetizer, and main course quickly. Food was incredible! Best pesto I’ve ever had!
The food was excellent, and pricey like all restaurants in Maui. My wife and I were full after ordering two appetizers and two entrees. If you are looking for a dining experience above a Hula Grill or lelani’s, try The Pour House Italian Kitchen.
The place was quaint and they had great live music when we visited but the food (and drinks) were overpriced for what they were. The burrata was delicious but the pasta fell short. Mine lacked flavor and although it was a decent portion I would have expected to be blown away by a $30 bowl of pasta.
The Pour House was a pleasant surprise! We started with bruschetta made with burrata which was excellent. The spaghetti with clams was amazing as were all the entrees we had, which I caused the spaghetti and meatballs and the spicy seafood pasta. Our server was attentive and really nice. We will definitely be back!
Hostess treated us very well. We had requested outdoor seating but the live music was a little loud so she reseated us inside. It was our anniversary so we received a complementary dessert which was very good. Appetizer was very good, main course was good but nothing spectacular. Good wine list.
This was an awesome new find. We did not know it was there until it was recommended by a friend. Give it a try.
All I have to say is Gnats everywhere. Yuck. For the amount of money they charge for a glass of wine, they should fix their gnat problem. They blamed it on the climate and weather, but we ate next door and no problem. Close the doors and turn the AC on, maybe the issue will get resolved.
Food and service was so great and a breath of fresh air for dining on Maui!
Food was cold, over priced for mediocre Italian food. Food took a long time to come out. Seems like they have a lot of kinks to work out. Don’t waste your money bringing your family.
Great food! Two of us are vegan and they made us a custom pasta dish for our entree... it was awesome!
Great family dinner there. We loved all our food and enjoyed speciality wine recommendations . The atmosphere was fun and intimate. It’s easy to park and enjoy a quick meal or meet for date night. Wish we lived westside to eat there more often. A great meal and service and the portions just right to try all the wonderful courses
Food and atmosphere were outstanding. Owner is super nice and friendly . Burrata. Is amazing !!
A mixed review from us for this restaurant. The entertainment had a lovely sound but was too loud for such a small area. The seats on the verandah were not comfortable and it was hard to communicate. The service was very pleasant and helpful. My dish (clams and spagetti) was very enjoyable but my husbands spagetti and meatballs was very average. The brushetta was excellent. Have had better dining experiences elsewhere.
Went on Wednesday trivia night. Fun, even though we did not participate, but I could see how for some people this would not be a great match. Food was tasty but seemed a bit expensive for what it was; delicious but $34 pasta should be incredible.
Ate here the other night with my girlfriend. I loved the ambiance of the restaurant and the Italian vibes. The wine room is super cool to look at as it is all glass. I got a nice glass of wine and we sat outside on very comfortable patio couch like furniture. There was live music and the musician was amazing. I ordered the organic chicken ravioli and it was outstanding. Tender chicken with imported cheeses from Italy. Highly recommended to anyone staying in the area. Also, I had burrata for the first time and it’s so tasty with the honey pears and crostini. Really loved this restaurant and we will be back on our next trip.
Went for casual dinner. It happened to be trivia night and was fun, but very loud! Lots of fun.
After seeing great reviews on here my wife and I gave it a try. I had the meatballs... There were six or seven of the smallest meatballs, the kind that are bought in the freezer section of the supermarket for $22.00. My wife had the chicken ravioli. Tasted fine, but again a very small portion. I also had an expensive and watered down drink. Staff is friendly, food didn't match up to the price. We left embarrassed that we paid so much for so little. Two hours later we had a real dinner back at the resort. This place is a joke. The seafood restaurant next door has massive crowds, this place was empty. Maybe the owner should ask himself why?
We absolutely love the Pour House! The outdoor seating is relaxed and comfortable and the food is so perfect! Every time is a delight! The appetizers are great, the pastas and salads are exquisitely seasoned, and the staff is wonderful! So perfect for a lovely night out . We never miss this place when we are on island... a couple times a year!
Simply a great place. Fantastic service from all we encountered. Brittany particularly.
LOVE the ambiance. I will dream about the food for a long time...
I booked a reservation through open table. I put down it was our 25th anniversary. When we were seated, it took the server a few minutes to come over and greet us. After pouring our water she left for about 5 minutes and asked for our drink orders after coming back to our table. We asked if they had any ginger beer for our teens and she was not aware but would check. Needless to say, she did not remember and after our meal was given to us my son asked about the ginger beer again. She brought it after our meal was finished and charged us $9.00 for the small little bottle. The food was okay, nothing I would ever pay the amount they charged for each meal. Also, before our meal was served, we asked to fill up our water glasses, she forgot, so I had to ask another server. Not one person acknowledged our anniversary and I was not going to say anything after the unfortunate service. I would not recommend this to anyone. This was our one night out for a nice meal and it turned out to be very disappointing.
Great, intimate setting for an Italian dinner on vacation! Our daughter is a HUGE pasta fan- Pour House didn’t disappoint. We’d go back if we didn’t already plan to visit other local spots! A must try for anyone wanting unique marinara sauce!! And the caprese salad was incredibly fresh. Don’t miss this spot on your west Maui vacation.
The cheese board, beet salad and meatballs were incredible!
I expected it to be a little more upscale, it was definitely more on the casual side. I still had a great experience!
Nice ambiance and live music was awesome! Food was average. Service was very good
We felt that the food was fine but incredibly overpriced! While we appreciated the chef making an adjustment for a vegetarian, a simple arrabiata shouldn’t be $30! Waitress was great as was the live music.
