Great Place! Going Again! Owner Morris is a great guy!
Outstanding food. Fresh, authentic. Morris is truly passionate about his business. Good vegetarian options. Try the pesto pasta, bruschetta, and beet salad.
Great food provided by a lovely family!
Food was delicious the burrata, pasta Bolognese and tiramisu all delicious! Sat outside and would prefer an inside table next time it would be more comfortable! We will be back in January
Great food and service
The food was amazing. The owner and his family are really wonderful to their guests. We sat outside and it was a beautiful evening celebrating Mother’s Day and my husbands birthday. I do wish the portions were alittle bigger for the price but overall we will be going back in the future.
Great food! Patio seating a lil wired
Delicious food, great wine. Friendly staff and owner.
I found this restaurant to be a disappointment unfortunately. The food was very basic, not really authentic to the Italian theme, and the menu was not accurate to what was served. The wine was more than 4 times the cost of a bottle which even for a restaurant is steep. The owner walked around and only greeted and spoke to people he knew which also made us feel strange. Our waitress was nice but couldn’t remember if we ordered what it was etc. Based on the food, service and the fact that the owners were there but never really tried to ask about our experience or do anything to make it better... I personally will not return and would highly recommend anyone else to look at other options.
Fantastic food and great wine in a relaxing tranquil environment. what more could you ask for?
Family run restaurant. Very friendly and attentive. The Burrata was fabulous
Odd table set up, not friendly, limited food choices and very expensive.
We enjoyed the pastas, very fresh sauces, generous amount of clams. The bruschetta appetizer was good, a little too loaded for my taste though, would have preferred a simpler presentation that highlighted the fresh tomato and basil. Limited menu. We did not have any wine or drinks. Slow service, seemed like only one waitress. But pleasant and friendly. Atmosphere- almost none .
Great place to eat with great service and outstanding food!
We love the Pour House! The best burrata outside of Italy!
We had reservations for an anniversary dinner on our last night in Maui, which was a Friday night. What an experience! Our table was waiting and we were seated as soon as we arrived. The food was delicious and Morris gave us such personalized and individual attention. It was lovely. Four adults shared the Burrata with Marina and a garden salad. The Burrata was creamy and delicious and the salad dressing was vibrant with great artichoke hearts on the salad. We each enjoyed an entree and shared the Tiramisu for desert. The portions were good and we all left with full bellies. The live music was entertaining and not too loud as we could still have a conversation over dinner. Would definitely go back.
Fun with live music. Food and service were excellent
Another fantastic meal. Got to have the panecota every time 😊
The restaurant had just reopened after a renovation when we came, so I want to be up front that this might not have been their best day. However, the restaurant is not new and has been family run for several years. There are very young children waiting and bussing tables that are not trained in food service sanitation by my observation. And there didn’t seem to be clear roles and responsibilities. Everyone was just running around trying to keep up. Very disorganized. My husband and I ordered pasta dishes with different sauces, yet when we received our meals, the sauces tasted exactly the same. I love vodka sauce and so was really looking forward to it. However, what arrived was not at all a vodka sauce. It was overwhelmed with capers and other heavy herbs. It’s rare that you can mess up pasta, but I could not eat my meal. My husband only had half of his. The one redeeming item was the burrata which I think they make in house. It was milky and rich. We got it with the pears and honey, but that combo was too sweet for us. Stick with tomato if you order it. I would say that this place is more conducive to being a tapas wine bas than a full on restaurant. People seated outside listening to live music and sharing small plates seemed much happier.
Definitely not a wine bar with 2 bottles of white and red to choose from. When charging $30 a plate of pasta, I don’t expect Owner’s 7 year old son running across the restaurant, server never refilled wine glasses or asked how food was. Very long wait between salads almost inedible (my husband and was starving no cream in the vodka cream sauce. Had to flag down server for salt & pepper. No Parmesan offered. Definitely a waste of $150.00.
Great food. The burrata was heavenly. I had the clam pesto. Amazing.
Great friendly service, delicious food!
Fantastic service, family owned business with a personal touch and connection to the food. Couldn’t ask for a better experience!
Service was slow and not engaging, as a matter of fact a little boy brought the water bottle to our table (he was maybe 6-7 years old?) And while he was cute we are on vacation from our kids. The food was very good however the service could be much better.
We loved it. Great food. Wonderful service. Can’t say enough. The spaghetti carbonara was wonderful and my husband had the spaghetti and meatballs. The baratta with olive and artichoke was superb. Dessert was great also. Marco is very entertaining. Will be coming again. One of our new favourites.
The service was impeccable. The
Best Italian food on Maui. We found The Pour House using Open Table's feature showing what restaurants had availability. When you make a reservation you need to give a credit card as deposit. Maui's restaurants are only at 30% so getting reservations is almost impossible. We knew we were going so the deposit was a non-issue. So glad we found The Pour House. Unfortunately it was our last night in Maui or we would have gone again.
We enjoyed dining on their covered patio and sat in very comfortable nest chairs. Everything we ordered was excellent - from the wine to the house made Burrata (they offer 5 different types, it's hard to choose). We both enjoyed our entrees - best clams with pasta (they get the clams from Washington state; they are small but extremely tasty) and Lemon basil Pesto pasta with shrimp. Delicious. Service was good, not the best but acceptable. Enjoyed meeting the owner who walked thru the restaurant and checked on everyone's meals. A delightful evening and they even had live music. We highly recommend The Pour House
Service was mediocre and restaurant was not crowded. Menu was ok and food was decent. For the price, I much prefer Kimo’s or Leilani’s
Excellent food and service
Great food, ambience and entertainment
The hostess/waitress was unfriendly and the entree was bland and uninteresting.
Beautiful Outdoor dining...
Our meals consisted of a Caprese salad, Pasta and Prawns with Vodka Cream Sauce and a Pasta Bolognese. We would not hesitate to order these meals again, as they were extremely tasty and very filling.
We had a wonderful meal here. Delicious pasta and we sat outside. Would recommend this place to all.
Great food, great customer service. Family is a delight working together
A really lovely experience. Loved the outside seating, comfortable Kapalua climate, great menu and more. Such a hidden gem!
This was our first time at The Pour House and we will definitely be back next year when we visit Maui again! The food was simply outstanding. The Burrata Bar options all looked amazing but we went with the fresh pear and local honey. Delicious! Our entrees were fabulous too. The Pour House Salad was one of the best salads I’ve had and perfectly dressed with house-made vinaigrette. The rest of my party had different pasta dishes... all extremely tasty and cooked perfectly. Dessert was also delicious. Solid wine list and love supporting this family-owned business where the care and attention is obvious and appreciated. Highly recommend!!
Great! Manager owner Lara wad superb 🙂
Amazing food and ambiance including live music.
The food was outstanding. Some of the best Italian we’ve ever had. Pasta was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend.
