They were not prepared to serve the patrons, who made reservations before the musical performance. Not even close.

I see your note as well that the show was great but we were understaffed, and this is true. We are understaffed at the moment! Show nights can be difficult to anticipate how many will dine beforehand, especially when most have not made reservations. We prepare as much as we can but sometimes are thrown with surprises. There will always be a rush as we try to get everyone in and out so they can get to the show on time. Thank you for your sincere feedback and I hope you will give us another try!

Our service was slow at best. We were left for about an hour with no check in, no water, no food, no wine, after finishing our meal. We weren't offered dessert. The server didn't know how to open a bottle of wine. At a place called a winery. We had to show her how.

Live piano player was good, place looked nice inside, but we will not be returning.

I sincerely apologize for our service, which could be described as "embarrassing" on our part. This is not to say as an excuse, but your server was extremely new and it was quite a busy afternoon. If you would please email me at info@newhopewinerycom, I would love to send you a gift certificate so you can give us another try.

When we went into the Pour House a nice lady greeted us right away and sat us down. We were given our menu and the waitress took our orders 15 minutes later the same waitress came by asking us what we would like to order. We told her we just ordered with her. She then remembered. After another 15 minutes we were brought our drinks. We received our food within 20 some minutes after that. When we received our food we asked for more wine and water 25 minutes later I had to call her over to see if she could get our drinks. She asked what we had ordered. Mind you this is the same waitress. 15 minutes later she brings over only one of our drinks. I ask her if she had mine. She said yes I’ll get for you now. 🤦🏽‍♀️ We finally ordered a bottle because we kept having to ask her for things and the waitress taking forever to give it to us. We asked for the check after ordering the wine since we figured it may take awhile to get the check. Well the check came in under 5 minutes and then 5 minutes later she asked if she could take our payment. The food was great the wine was great but I really didn’t have half my afternoon waiting for our waitress to remember or I should say to keep forgetting what we ordered.

How can such a wonderful restaurant be almost totally empty on a Friday evening? The food was spectacular, the portions large. Service was awesome - probably because there were few other diners - ambiance was quiet. We enjoyed wonderful conversation and were able to enjoy each other’s company without the need of hearing aids or screaming. The final bill was well within what we expected. We will definitely go back. By the way - we were Not there for the show/entertainment. Others who had been there for dinner before the show vacated the place by 8pm and went to a different room. We were not bothered at all by whatever entertainment was being presented in a different room.

We came to New Hope for a concert (Raul Malo) at the Winery. Because we enjoyed excellent food there in the past, we decided to eat both lunch and dinner there. We were not disappointed. The menu is limited but there’s enough variety for most diners. For anyone attending a concert at the Winery, it’s a no brainer - eat dinner at The Pour House and then take a 20 second walk to the concert venue, which sits about 100 feet behind the restaurant.

We went to the Pour House before a show at the Venue at the New Hope Winery because of the convenience of being right next door to where we were going. The dinner was beyond our expectations and I would definitely recommend it and will go again whether we are going to a show or not. Cool atmosphere, rustic and authentic. There were four of us and we all ordered something different and everyone was happy with their meal. And we ordered a variety of things from appetizers to entree's and they all were excellent.

This was without a doubt one of THE WORST dining experiences in the history of dining. I booked a reservation days in advance for 5:00 PM. We arrived at 4:50 PM and were told to wait. No big deal, we were early. At 5:00 I approached the hostess to inquire about our table and she PUT HER HAND ON ME and guided me back to my family stating that they were very busy and I needed to wait. 5 Minutes later my mother asked about our table and her reply was "We have 250 reservations ( a lie since the restaurant cannot hold 250 people!) and you will have to wait." Long story short: She was rude and disrespectful to my ENTIRE PARTY and actually told another employee to stop explaining the situation to us because she was handling it. I TRULY BELIEVE that this woman is EMOTIONALLY UNSTABLE and should never have a job where she has to interact with people, or animals....or plants. We went to the concert next door and had snacks with our drinks for dinner.

I am appalled by your experience and want to extend my sincerest apologies. We were understaffed that evening and the fact of the matter is some people do not do well under stress. I believe I know who you may be speaking of and I will be talking with her today. This is not to say this is an excuse for her behavior or how you or your party were treated during your time. I hope you give us another chance and if you decide to do so please give me a call at 215-794-2331 and ask for me. -Dani

you need more staff. Our waitress was good but couldn't keep up with the pre-show rush.

Thank you so much for dining with us and attending our show. And thank you for your honest input, as our shows and restaurant become more popular the more we try to improve and grow with it. We are in the works of hiring more employees to keep up with the pre-show rush. We hope to see you in the near future!
