   Weren't shown special menu until desserts! I was pleased to see gluten free menu choices. Alot of show bringing out my food separately from.dining partner, but no communication. Glasses cleared before wine finished and when asked to be able yo.finish it ,it was onked down. Errors happen but no apology ( that's all needed) Waiting staff uncommunicative . Same happened desert plate just taken , again not fully finished but no check Bilil brought without request. By same staff member Something not going right tonight if other reviews are to recognised .

   We absolutely love Potted Lobster, it is such a great place to visit when at Abersoch however on the last two occasions the food has taken such a long time to reach us we are not sure we will return for food again. The waiter service is great and this is nothing against the front of house team, on both occasions they have been very apologetic but we just waited far too long for the food to reach the table. We will definitely be back for sunny drinks outside but won’t be ordering food any time soon.

   Lovely restaurant. Very nice interior. It was a lunch time meal and the restaurant was not overly full so it felt very calm and if you had time to savour the food. Lobster was fantastic and reasonable though felt the fillet steak was a little on the pricey side and it didn’t mention it came with butter. Overall a great meal though

   Food was outstanding. A good variety of dishes to suit everyone. Service great. Lovely sitting in the sunshine watching the world go by

   My husband enjoyed some fabulous fresh seafood, thanks in part to the restaurant also being able to cater for his vegetarian wife(!). Both of us had a wonderful lunch washed down with some lovely wines. The service was great too. We will definitely book a table for our next trip to Abersoch!

   Excellent food as usual. Server was very good but it was a while before she took our order and I understand that it was busy it’s not a complaint!

   The food was outstanding but we were quite put off by a waiter who kept reminding us we didn’t have our table for much longer. He gave a dessert menu and said if we didn’t order within the next minute we wouldn’t have time for one. We then asked for some hot water in a bowl for our 9 month olds food and it never came, we had to ask a further two times for it to come. The food was outstanding it’s just a shame that the constant reminders of our table time left us unable to relax.

    This was the first time we’d managed to get a table at the restaurant because we were in Abersoch outside of school holidays for a change- it’s always fully booked. The food was great- fresh lobster and garlic mayonnaise was delicious. My husband had the steak- he’s not really a fish person. We opted for the charcuterie sharing platter instead of a starter- the mozzarella cheese was amazing and the focaccia bread was a welcome change to the hard crusty offerings you often get with this kind of dish. Only complaint was that we were sat in a booth just outside the kitchen doors and toilets. A lot of “traffic “ through this area. The seats were a little uncomfortable for my liking and the table legs made getting in and out or sitting with crossed legs rather awkward.
