A rural public house serving local beers, Berkshire gin and ciders, as well as a great wine selection. Bar snacks and full meals available 7 days a week. Cooking over a central grill makes for great theatrical cooking from our open-plan kitchen, overseen by Head Chef Nick Galer.

Whilst a subtle Basque feel will permeate throughout, its roots are firmly founded on those of a classic English pub – so while featuring top end Basque dishes fit for a destination dinner, it also offers simple pub snacks for a light lunch… while the food may be inspired by the Basque country, the ingredients are local… and while the wines may be sourced from Iberia, the beer is very much English.

The crowning glory is the sensational open kitchen, with a huge, CHARCOAL FIRED parilla grill and a BRICK OVEN as its centrepiece and all in front of the guests – very visual and very theatrical.

The Pot Kiln has been a really exciting project, and we’re thrilled to be finally open.

The food was fresh, sophisticated yet casual, seasonal and super delicious. This is our second time and we will definitely come back again!

Great menu that continues to evolve. Choose three or four tapas per person for a great meal or just choose one tapas as a starter and the Lamb shoulder or Beef Rib to share

Our whole experience was delightful. It was my husbands birthday and the meal Was absolutely delicious. The staff very friendly and helpful. They even gave him A dessert with Happy Birthday written on the plate. The meal was expensive for 2 people but I did not mind that because the food was exceptional.

This is the first time I have visited the "new Pot Kiln". A great experience, from start to finish. We were met by a lovely young man at the bar who smiled and took us to our table. Lovely atmosphere in the dining room which was light and airy looking into the open kitchen with the chefs working. Lots of space in the dining room which is good news these days. As so many restaurants have tables so close together! I loved the menu which had lots of different dishes to chose from. I would certainly recommend.

Delicious food and amazing ambience. We had a table next to open kitchen and it was great to watch the chefs in action. The octopus was cooked to perfection but the empanadas were our number 1
