Great service - great food - nice menu 😀
Came here for my sis in law6 bday brunch; ambience and service were good; food presentation was nice but taste was just average; my daughter loved their kids burgers tho :)
Will come back again to try other dishes
Good food, fast service.
I had a business lunch there. Food and service was great.
Delicious food - all the items that we ordered were great and tasty!
Too noisy for me but might be just right for others. Popular and a great variety of food. My friend enjoyed her soup and salad. I like my tacos.
We enjoyed being at The Post very much. The service was perfect and friendly and the food was delicious. There are banquets/booths were 3 of us enjoyed great conversation under nice lighting and a warm ambience. This will be my go-to place as a resident of Los Altos.
Was served the wrong food twice.
Excellent service ‼️
We had to move tables 3x bec of uncontrollable kids.
We had lunch in the outdoor deck area of the restaurant. The Post has done an excellent job of making their deck very attractive and accessible (my husband is in a wheelchair) at the same level as the sidewalk. The food was delicious with a nice presentation and the service was friendly and attentive.
No masks worn by many workers. Cool had his around his neck the whole time there. Many employees wore below nose or off.
It distracted from our experience.
Salmon dish was missing sauce.
Biscuits were obviously reheated which made them inedible and dry.
We are a group of 7 that get together every few weeks. We like cocktails and appetizers. The weather was perfect to sit outside. We were seated immediately. The appetizer menu was varied. We had spicy calamari, tempura shrimp, fried cauliflower, sirloin sliders and to share off the menu, pasta a la carbonara and tacos; mushroom, salmon, chicken and pork. Everything was delicious. Usually something is off but not last night. They had a nice selection of cocktails too. Everyone commented on how good it all was.
The service was excellent. All the food arrived in a timely manner, no big gaps. Even the cocktails, which normally take along time between order and receipt, arrived quickly. We all discussed during dinner that we wanted to come back which is saying a lot as it’s a 45 minute drive for closest of the group.
Very mediocre food, and especially disappointing for the price. Service was okay. The patio is pretty decent, and wouldn’t recommend eating inside unless you’re there to watch sports. Overall super disappointing and would not recommend
The Post was very enjoyable. It was a lovely evening, so we ate outdoors with our dog. (Apparently, they’re so dog-friendly that you can actually dine inside with your dog!) I had one glass of wine, a Pinot Noir, which was very good. The sliders were yummy, but the Pasta Bolognese was lacking seasoning, and I wished there had been more substance to the sauce. There wasn’t much meat in it, and the dish could have used more sauce overall. My husband was happy with his salmon, and we both loved the homemade ice cream. It was very good. It was a busy Friday night, so the service wasn’t very attentive, but they got the job done, and we were happy.
Great location with a wide selection of items for lunch. Friendly staff. Food tasted excellent.
Reservation expecations met, service expectations exceeded, meal expecatations met.
Great spot with excellent food for lunch
We had a wonderful family reunion lunch at the Post. The food and service was fantastic, and it was a lovely day for outdoor dining.
Clean, healthy, and fresh tasting food. Love their best salad with added salmon!
We eat at The Post often. We always order the tomato basil soup and then something else to go with it. The staff is very attentive and friendly.
Great spot for Sunday brunch with the family and pups on the patio. Nice basic menu including old fashioned corned beef hash which I was craving. Crispy chicken sandwich was very tasty.
This restaurant is located on the main part of the Los Altos downtown. Great location, easy parking. The food was solid; corned beef hash was tasty (although our server got my eggs incorrectly even though I repeated my request to her twice and she stated it back to me). The service was mediocre. We NEVER received any water despite asking for it two or three times. And after our food was delivered, our server never returned to check in about anything until she brought the bill. No other wait or other staff came by either other than one person walking around refilling coffee at which we asked again for water and the request was forgotten. Not sure I’d go back. This is the second time we’ve been and the food hasn’t been memorable and now that we’ve experienced such poor service, it’s not worth it.
Lovely Saturday evening with friends. The food was. solid; cocktails were excellent
Festive! Great value. Tiny bits of crab in my crab salad but lovely giant piece of halibut in my friend's dinner. Great music. Good choice. I'll go again.
I marked service down, but I know it’s hard to find workers and it was an issue of quantity not quality. It was a pretty busy lunch service.
Love the Post!
The server took forever with everything and was extremely rude.
Small portions on daily special crab salad & avocado toast. We were still hungry. Was a special event weekend (Art & Wine Festival) but didn't know prior. However we did arrive on time and it wasn't not crowded or busy yet. I mention only because we did advise in advance we were celebrating our anniversary but there was no acknowledgement of this during our time there or any special table placement when we were seated. We moved ourselves to a better location later.
Catching up with friends from LA. They loved the ambience and enjoyed the food.
really poor quality service, kept forgetting items we ordered and ignored our table for most of the time. won't be going back there. only positive is that they turned the heater on and we were able to enjoy a nice almost fall evening in los altos!
Excellent all around. First time here and exceeded expectations.
Perfect day to eat outside so we were grateful to get the last table available which was what we wanted. The service was excellent and the food was good too! Enjoyed the experience immensely. We were celebrating a birthday and did not feel rushed at all. Our waitress was delightful.
Very good. Plenty to pick from. Staff friendly and nice. Will definitely go back.
Been many times
We love to go to this restaurant for a quick bite. They have varieties of menu items - comfort food and healthy food.
Food was good. The drinks were not. We ordered 3 drinks and they got 2 of the drinks wrong. Overall an ok experience.
Met a friend for late afternoon cocktails. Great drinks, great service, great vibe!
Lovely outdoor ambience for a drink or food. Not noisy despite proximity to expressway
