The food was Luke warm when it arrived at the table, had to wait over 45 minutes before the food arrived; I was truly disappointed. I don’t recommend the Post.
It is a brewery, so it's a bit on the noisy side, unless you can sit outside. But the food & beer are great & the service has always been good. I would highly recommend it!
Fun and yummy as always. Took my mom for mother's day for the first time. We really enjoyed the patio (though umbrellas for shade would be really nice! We got sun burned). Love the deviled eggs and I'm soooooooo glad the Chile relleno is on the menu! I think it was a special the first time I got it, and it's so good! One of my favorites!
Great food, great beer and Morgan our waiter was outstanding!!! Never disappointed when coming home to Boulder and checking out fellow FHS alum Dave Query's joints - they are always fabulous!!!
The fried chicken here is wonderful! The beets and sweets was a nice side-dish, as was the mashed potato and gravy. Noise level is high, but it is a very busy place.
The Nashville hot chicken is the go-to family favorite.
Good beer and fabulous fried chicken. Sides were fresh and yummy. On the expensive side for comfort food (all sides are extra with the chicken dinner), but worth the splurge. Great service and nice atmosphere. Good place to catch up with friends.
We were visiting for a family vacation. Food and service were outstanding and everything came out quick. Very kid friendly!
Thank you for your review! We look forward to your next visit with us! Best, Sarah
The food was fabulous and the service was friendly. As usual. We love The Post! Thank you!
Thank you very much! We love serving you. Hope to see you back soon!
We had family visiting from out of town so I brought them to The Post, the food was amazing like always , our server was very sweet & checked in on us very frequently!
Brunch is the best!
Great ambiance + great waitress + great food = great evening
Please don't change
Awe! Thanks, MikeS! We will do our best to not change and keep up what we're doing. Appreciate the feedback and look forward to a great summer with you!
We asked for a quiet booth and were seated in the back where it was quieter even though it was next to the bar and tv. Portions are large. We enjoyed the beer flight and the Sangria was very good. Appetizers of deviled eggs and chicken chowder was very good, as was the braised pork. Only complaint was the fried chicken was dry and did not arrive hot. The waffles were great crisp but also could have been hotter
Great food & drinks. Casual yet fun for a date night.
We always love the Post!
Yummy! Generous kids meals, great chicken and waffles. Sour beer was really good.
Post has the best fried chicken! Better than mine and I grew up with a southern grandma who taught me to cook.
We just discovered The Post a few weeks ago and have been 3 times. We LOVE their food!
Absolutely loved the atmosphere and decor. We went for a ladies brunch, so the quiet atmosphere was perfect for gabbing. I can tell it would have much more energy in the evening. I personally would not return for brunch, as it didn't have enough egg options, but the food was very good. I am definitely returning with my husband in the evening. Staff were extremely friendly. It is definitely worth a visit.
We had a party of 8 and enjoyed the beers and food. Our servers name was Liz and she was outstanding. Very attentive and nice. We were there for a couple of hours and never felt rushed or ignored. Everything was spot on. Highly recommend going here.
The fish included in the fish fry was less than average. The fries were great and cheese curds very good.
Great family friendly restaurant. Wished there were more gluten free options but other than that we were completely satisfied and happy.
Our server was very friendly and helpful with our questions, but a bit slow. Food was good, not great.
Terrific fried chicken, family friendly atmosphere- we came here last Saturday with our 11 year old and her friend, and our mother and stepfather who are 85 and 92. Everyone loved the fried chicken. It was a bit noisy for the older folks who had difficulty hearing our conversation, although we were there early but the server was friendly and helpful and service was quick, and as always the food was delicious and reasonably priced.
Best fried chicken of my life. If you haven't been here, you have to go.
They do not accept Open Table reservations! After I made a reservation a week ago I was greeted by the hostess who told me that they do not accept Open Table reservations.
Great fried chicken and a minimum of 4-5 beers on tap that are excellent. It's easy to order food but always a tough decision on beer.
Won't be going back it is overrated and it was pretty last year and it is not as good
Fried chicken was delicious.
We had a reservation and got seated out in the heat. Disappointed by seating after making reservation. Cannot tolerate the heat.
Great food. Great time
We were celebrating my sisters birthday and had a very nice visit and the food was very good as well. The chicken is always great there! The gal (I don't remember her name) serving us did an excellent job.
The noise level could be toned down a bit if at all possible as it is difficult to carry on a conversation. I know this is a difficult task being it is a brewery.
But all in all, we had a good time.
I like The Post, it's a great location, a good building, service is always good. The southern style menu items are fine, but the quantity, and presentation leave something to be desired.
I had the MISSISSIPPI CATFISH with a side of slaw, it arrived, a single fried catfish on one side of the plate, a small cup of slaw, and a lonely set of pickled vegetables. It was all edible, put small, and poorly presented.
I don't expect Egon Ronay or Michelin starred presentation, but a little more Gordon Ramsay would be good. It won't put me off returning, but does remind me that in a small market, you only have to be good enough.
Really nice, but very spiced.
Deeee-lish!! We go here specially the UNREAL fried chicken....the recipie was designed with an alternative gluten-free flour just for the flavor profile, and is the best this southern gal has had. Even the cream ir brown gravy is gf!! Amazing, crispy, juicy, better than any colonel. And if gf isnt you, thats just the chicken.... everything there we have tried is amazing. love the coleslaw, ribs and mashers. YUM. Friendly service, our last dinner was served in less than 10min. Great place....make a reservation!
One of our favorite places.
Good vittles and decent enough beer. Just too pricey.
Great fried chicken, but the beers leave a lot to be desired.
The fried chicken and waffles was not served hot- or even warm- and the chicken was dry- the drinks were very good- service friendly and good for a busy night
Would like to try it again to see if food is better
i get hungry for good fried chicken. so i come to the post for fried chicken the best.
