   We LOVE the porch , try and get some crawfish in from time to time , we love any New Orleans/Southern style cuisine and ambiance. OH, and bananas Foster would be great as well!

   Had reservations for 11:30am. Seated within 10 minutes. In short-Service was extremely slow. Wait for food was extraordinarily long. Food was mediocre. Although our server was busy with large parties, she never once came to check on us for the duration of about 2 hours. Details- we ordered beignets and the cinnamon roll for starters and 2 drinks. The beignets were too dense, I was expecting airy puffy pockets of satisfaction. Definitely didn't get that. The cinnamon roll, on the other hand, was warm, gooey and scrumptious! My only favorite dish. Our adult beverages took a while to come out. Entrees were finally served at 130pm after an immensely long wait (so long, we had time to dwell on our appetizers and pick at it until all eaten up). Our family of 5 ordered: Biscuit Sandwiches- no complaints. they really liked the spicy sauce. Biscuits and Brisket: dishes came out cold. was not served with brisket, more like shredded beef. Dissappoinment there. Chicken and Waffle: Chicken strips were warm and tasty. Shared it with the fam and they liked it the most out of their dishes. The waffle was soggy and chewy. not great. Albeit this past visit was a fluke and they were busy with graduation celebrations, but I will not return. I'd rather spend my time and money elsewhere.

   Very disappointed. After our order was placed it was an hour to receive the food. We were not told the kitchen was dragging 60 minutes on our food until we asked the server to check on the order. She then told us they are a hour behind. I asked why we weren't told this and she said she didn't know it. When our food did arrive, my husbands meal was so, so salty it was not edible. I will never return and never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

   Love the porch. Chose it for Mothers Day. Unfortunately, I am the mom and my order was forgotten. By the time it was corrected, everyone had finished their meal, so I declined to take my food since I was snacking on everyone else’s. Not the end of the world but not ideal. And there was no apology just an oops. Food was good but not great. Drinks were great. Bottom line, it was great to be with my kids but had hoped for better service.

   Not too impressed with the barbecue sauce on the grits. Which were undercooked and had no cheese per the norm or anticipated addition of typical shrimp and grits fare. I think a hollandaise sauce would had been better with a twist, like smoked paprika, hot sauce and a splash of chives.

    Restaurant was nice, Mother’s Day lunch. Server was really nice however the delay in food was really disappointing. Our server did warn us but 30 minutes for appetizers then an hour for entrees. I would have hoped the restaurant would have been better prepared considering it is a known busy day. When the food did come out it was really tasty.

    Waitress didn’t bring us our drinks. When I went to the restroom I saw the kitchen door swing open… the people going in and out of the door were side swiping a cart that had sedan-wrapped cooked waffles and one unwrapped that was hanging off the top side on the cart… unsanitary cooking practices and would love them to get a random inspection. I really can’t believe they also premade and sedan wrapped their waffles since waffles are so quiet and simple to make. Makes sense why the waffle I ordered was soggy and tough. Super loud inside too… won’t come back.

    I haven’t been to The Porch since before the pandemic, but certain touches were still there… we went to to celebrate my friend’s birthday for Sunday brunch, and I was so happy to see that they still do the personalized menus. My friend was elated to see her name on the brunch menu. We were told that food would take about an hour to come out due to being so packed, but that was not the case at all. We got our fried green tomatoes almost right away, coffee and water came out fairly quickly, and then our food did not take nearly as long as we were anticipating. The only thing that I would say went south is that my friend ordered a sangria and it was taking so long that she decided to get something different. Overall, very nice experience and we celebrated my friends birthday with great food and great service.

    Great brunch food with some unique menu items. The restaurant seemed understaffed and service was slow. It is also quite noisy - they could use some dampeners inside.

    The beignets were hot out the oven. The shrimp and grits were a bit spicy for my taste but my husband LOVED it. Packed with flavor and creamy grits! Looking forward to trying other dishes.

    We were there was a few years ago and enjoyed our breakfast at that time - however I was very disappointed with our 2nd visit, this last weekend. First of all I must say that the waitress was very nice and went out of her way to give us good service under the circumstances and the bad review is not about her. However the food that came from the kitchen was not very good at all - it was not served hot and was very ordinary and not what I would expect for the elevated price tag for their breakfast menu. The noise level was completely unbearable and is the reason why I would not go back to this restaurant again. We could not even talk. The waitress also had to shout to be heard. I actually couldn't wait to leave, which is not how I like to have my Sunday morning breakfast.

    We waited forever for our order and once it finally showed up it was cold. The restaurant was full for Easter brunch but very loud…there are interior tricks they could employ to muffle the noise. When I went to the washroom I overheard a waitress whispering to another “they forgot another one” referring to the cooks~ yet another issue to address!

    Service was horrible won’t be returning. Got the breakfast biscuit and on the menu it said it came with potatoes plural but there was a single tiny potato on my plate. Server was nice enough to bring me 2 more potatoes but man I’ve never seen potatoes on the menu to only be given a single potato 🤣

    We enjoyed a very nice Easter brunch here, our server Nick (Nicolas) was very attentive and provided great customer service. The ONLY thing that I marked down was because after leaving I saw that we were charged a 2.5% supply chain surcharge. I'll take responsibility for not seeing this before we left, but I feel that the servers need to make the customer aware of the added surcharge at the time of billing.

    Our party of five had reservations. We were seated on time and a server came right away to offer us drinks and advised us that there would be a ONE hour wait for food. This was incredibly disappointing considering we had reservations. The restaurant was packed and the vibe was great but it was incredibly loud. I could barely hear the conversation happening at my own table. Our server was attentive and made sure we had drinks the entire time we waited. Once our food finally came out, I was disappointed that the cheese on my eggs benedict was not melted and the ham was not warm. I assumed that since they were so backed up in the kitchen, they rushed to get the food as quickly as possible, but it was not quite "done." I don't think I'll return to The Porch.

    So I went there for a birthday brunch. We got sat right away, got our waters and put in our app, it was so good the bacon cheese biscuit! Oh! My! Goodness! All of the food was delicious. They even printed Happy Birthday Menus for my friend. It was so sweet! And such an awesome touch! They brought out a brownie with a candle. The whole experience was just so awesome!     The drinks were served in a timely manner and were excellent. The waitress was very efficient. After placing our order it took over an hour to be told the cooks made a mistake and it would be a bit longer. This was not a problem, until they served our meal and my meatloaf was raw in the middle. After sending it back, my date was finished with his meal before I was served. This took nearly two hours and was very disappointed with the meal.

    Food service was poor. Took 40-45 minutes to receive our entree. When we ordered an appetizer, waiter suggested we order our main course at the same time because it would take at least 25 minutes to get the entree. Food (meat loaf and gumbo) was very good. Would order again.
