   Brilliant food and service. Monika, our waitress was fantastic and a credit to the pub. Food was delicious and all very well cooked. We’ll be back

   Really great country pub with a good selection of drinks, friendly staff and fantastic food.

   Whilst the service was good and the tables/surroundings very comfortable the food really let down the visit. It was expensive but sadly the quality was not good enough. The kids beef burgers looked as though they were the cheap frozen ones and the quality of the fillet steak was poor for £20. The vegetables were greasy and bland. The service was very good and friendly however..

   Excellent service by restaurant and staff slightly spoilt by Opentable not passing my confirmed reservation on to the restaurant

   Great experience! Service was a little slow but that's to be expected on Mothering Sunday! The food was lovely, and the staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

   Chose here based on two 5 * reviews!! Not sure I believe them. Ate next to 3 seriously sized cobwebs. Food equated to a Wetherspoon chain. Staff very friendly but rushed off their feet. Just about an average country pub with food. Surprised it made the website.

   Had a lovely evening catching up with my friend didn't even have to order at the bar which was great waiter/waitress were friendly did have a slight over lap with mains coming out before we had finished our starter but no problem it happens food was really lovely in a quiet relaxing place 😊

    My partner and I went for dinner here & will be going again. The food was so tasty and the service was top class. I recommend it to everyone.
