I asked for a place that was COVID safe and they put me in a very spacious and quiet part of the restaurant, which I was grateful for. I got stood up and Carly was great at helping me make lemonade; turning an awkward situation into an opportunity for some "me time." Big ups for that. The crabby tots were really globbed on with crab dip, which was more cheese than crab; but the cocktails were great and the dining space was lovely. If I ever get stood up in Towson again, I'll be back!
We are so happy to hear Carly was attentive and caring about your situation! We want all of guests to be taken care of as one of our own here at The Point. We hope to see you back in better circumstances next time!
The server greeted and took a tables ordered who sat down 20mins after me, the drinks were mediocre and the food was cold.
This place is more of a sports bar. Great for drinking with friends but would not recommend for brunch or a date. The ambience is noisy and the food is average bar food.
Loved it. People were great. Food was awesome. I’ll be back.
I went there for brunch and the drinks was horrible and the potatoes were over cooked other the that it was just ok.
Server was nice…. Mimosa was subpar and served over ice and not in a champagne glass. Skillet was ok.
Sorry to hear our brunch options were not to your liking. While we typically don't use champagne glasses for our bottomless drinks, we do take concern with you not being happy with the quality of the mimosa and your skillet only being okay. We want our menu to impress everyone that comes to dine in with us. We hope to impress during your next visit!
I have been very sick immediately since leaving yesterday. The potatoes and biscuit seemed to be from another day (not fresh) but I’m not sure if that’s the cause of the food sickness. I will not be returning again.
Amazing experience! Great food, drinks, and music.
It was nice and laid back area. I would definitely come back
I keep wanting The Point to be good, but I keep getting disappointed. Service aside (they do well!) the food just simply isn’t worth the price. The advertised menu descriptions versus the food that comes out does not match, and it’s pretty disappointing when you’re spending $14+ per entree.
Love the point but this time around it was just too loud for a date, service was slow too
We ordered the soft pretzels with beer cheese absolutely delicious! Chicken tacos, gangster cheesesteak, Buffalo chicken wrap and the grilled cheese were all amazing. Would definitely come back!
Needed a quick bite to eat before a show. Each of us enjoyed everything we ordered.
It was ok not as good as I expected given the location and Ambience
Hi Brandon! I'm sorry to hear your experience wasn't up to par. We definitely strive for all guests to have a great experience. Feel free to contact us if you wish to provide more feedback in detail
Very good!!! Will go again!!!
Decent starters, my husband's main restaurant week course was not good, dry squash he barely ate.
This was my first time at The Point and I was celebrating my birthday! I was amazed at how good the food was. The entire atmosphere was an A+! I will definitely be back again!
Great dinner. Went for restaurant week and pleasantly surprised by the quantity and quality of the food. Everything was delicious, our server was attentive and the entrees had fun names.
we were 6 at our table. Food was brought for 5 with the exception of mine...I had to ask for my food which was brought about 8 minutes after everyone else was eating. The drinks were VERY watered down, even after I asked for my liquor....it was pointless
The food wasn't good. Majority of my party ordered the chicken and waffles and we were all disappointed. The chicken tenders were dry and lacked seasoning. The waffles had too many crystal sugar pieces in them which we all felt made the waffle too sweet and unbearable to eat. The other party at my table ordered the bowl and felt the dish lacked seasoning. The customer service was great however the food was not so we will not be returning.
Great! But, The place is way too loud!
Great food and a fabulous live band. This place rocks
Very nice brunch selection. Would definitely recommend
Brunch was okay…had to ask for our drinks without ice because they were extremely watered down…ordered a screwdriver that was straight orange juice and had to get another. Other than that, it was okay, not terrible but not a million bucks but I’d go again to try another menu item.
Took my husband there for brunch..what he ordered tasted sour..took 1 bite. Bartender told us they could remake it but he couldn't order anything else and we had to pay for the dish he didn't want. Asked for the manager, was told he or she wasn't there. So we ended up paying for a dish that was sour..won't be visiting here again..customer service sucks
Reserved outside table but we weren’t seated outside. Food was average. Ordered 2 different beers during the meal. Both times, the wrong beer was brought. It was an average dining experience.
Very good vibes and good energy. Host was nice and server was really attentive and amazing. The tallish guy who cleaned up the table was also dope and really nice !
Red hair waitress was not good. They forget a whole meal, along with a few drinks and side dishes. She ignored us once she realized she screwed up. The food was very under whelming.
Took along time to get food, service was terrible and the food wasn’t good
Didn’t really enjoy the good, just wasn’t what I was looking for.
We had a really great time at brunch yesterday.. only complaint would be that we ordered eggs over easy and got super hard fried eggs.. and the pricing was a tad higher than I felt it should be. But the restaurant was really nice, and the servers were great.
Food is great and the drinks are as well. Unfortunately when getting the bottomless drinks with brunch they are a little slow with the refills. Other than that it's a good experience.
Went for my husbands 30th birthday with friends. We had amazing service. The only negative was when we asked for a dessert for the birthday boy they said they didn’t really do anything like that. They brought out some sort of breaded dessert with no candles or anything and just handed it to us. Found that a little add, I imagine we can’t be the first group to go there for a birthday celebration.
I came to the restaurant before for a friend's graduation brunch and everything was great. Food/service, everything was perfect. I decided to make a reservation for my mom's birthday but unfortunately I did not have the same experience as my last visit. Our waitress was nice but moved extremely slow when taking orders. When our food did come out no one's food was actually hot, it was room temperature at best. As for the bottomless drinks during brunch hour, a few of the guests were only able to get one beverage due to slow service or forgetfulness. There were 12 guests total and only 1 person was happy with her meal. I think maybe a second server would have helped the situation. I will say the manager (didn't catch his name) did accommodate us by taking most of the entrees off the bill (at least 3 were sent back to the kitchen) this experience did put a damper on my Mother's birthday celebration. Not sure if I'd be open to visiting again
Hi Kourtney! I'm sorry to hear you had so much trouble with your visit for your mom's birthday. We always try to give every guest great service along with quality food and cocktails. It's positive to hear that the manager was able to accommodate you and attempt to make up for the problems. We will make sure to work to avoid each of these issues from happening in the future. I hope you stay open to giving us another chance to take care of you and your guests for your next celebration
We came in for a nice bachelorette dinner, were put in the bar area which was great for space but didn't really experience the restaurant side. Food was amazing!!! Very quick as well. Service was good, but expected maybe a little more engagement or personality from the staff knowing we were celebrating... But I def recommend and would go back if in the area.
Hi Jessica! It's great to hear that you enjoyed your celebration here with us at The Point. We are taking your feedback to make sure you and other future guests feel engaged with when they come in too! We can't wait to see you again!
The food was cold and seemed old. My party was there for a while and other people’s food looked completely different and more appetizing
Thanks for coming to The Point! I'm sorry to hear that your food wasn't up to our quality standards. We hope to see you again so we can provide you a great experience!
Food and bottomless mimosas were great just REALLY cold
Thanks for dining with us and sharing your feedback! We look forward to seeing you again and making sure everything is perfect!
This was our first time at this restaurant and it will be our last! The food was AWFUL and OVERPRICED!
Starting with the tomato stack appetizer, the tomatoes weren’t even ripe and there was only one tiny piece of goat cheese on top. I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich with avocado. It was the WORST the grilled cheese ever! Not only did it not any avocado, the bread wasn’t toasted and it’s as soggy from way too much pesto. I could only choke down 1/2 of it and the fries wrote cold. Speaking of cold, my husband ordered the $18 steak salad, which contained pieces of cold, gray steak that was barely edible. My husband also ordered a drink with gin. They were out of gin! How is a bar out of gin?!?!
My best advice, DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY! Our $100 dinner left us hungry and very disappointed!
Hi Randi! I'm very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience with us. It sounds like we could have executed better in bringing you an accurate and great quality meal. We always have plenty of options of each type of liquor - it sounds like there was a miscommunication. I hope you will come back and let us make things right the next time you dine in with us
We had an amazing time at brunch! I just wished my tots weren’t burnt otherwise I loved it!
Thank you for coming out and dining with us Tiffany! It seems like we could improve on our presentation of the tots we served you. I hope you come back soon so we can make sure to get everything perfect next time!
Overall I don’t think we would come back. We were seated without menus and waited almost 10 mins before our waitress spoke to us or gave us a menu. The food was a little lukewarm and the drinks were very watered down. Ice doesn’t go in a mimosa.
Sorry to hear that you weren't happy with your experience. This isn't the standard of what we want to see in our restaurant. I hope you give us another chance soon!
