The Plough Shiplake, pub & dining room that prides itself on offering a delicious, seasonal menu with an excellent drinks selection. The Plough makes you feel special, and at home, all at the same time.

The menu itself is the perfect combination of reinvented pub favourites, with interesting and culinarily creative signature dishes. As well as having a reputation for the best cocktails in Oxfordshire.

The building has been lovely restored; creating a homely, yet modern atmosphere, where it's easy to get lost in conversation for hours. Every table has been given an unique touch and the open fire creates warmth, in both meanings of the word.

Ticks every box for what we look for in a good night out. Welcomed with a smile, ideas from the bar staff on what cocktail to have, good food choices, good wine list, great buzz, without being loud. Attentive, but not fawning staff, and a reasonable bill at the end. good all round great experience, thanks team!

Have been meaning to visit this local restaurant for a while. Great reviews prompted me to book for Sunday lunch. The reviews are absolutely right! Wonderful meal, beautifully cooked, perfectly prepared. Very friendly staff, service excellent. We will definitely be back…soon!

Really enjoyable Easter roast. We sat I. The bar area which was nice and light. The staff are very friendly and efficient. I’d booked the table to celebrate my mum’s birthday and she was presented with a delicious chocolate brownie and a decorative Happy Birthday message on the plate. It really made her day and was a lovely touch

Would always recommend it to friends and family. Great touch someone birthday. He was shocked and very happy. We all had a wonderful time.

Continues to be the best place around. Fernando, Chloe and Tim are all brilliant. The food is insanely good and the cocktails are perfect.
