Standing proudly in the village of Cropwell Butler just outside of Nottingham since the mid-1800s, the Plough Inn is the perfect place for family get-togethers, a retreat for walkers, special occasions, delicious pub food and even a relaxing place to catch all the sporting action! We're proud to offer a menu packed with the most appetising dishes. Tina and her staff were attentive and friendly. A good selection of food on the menu and the specials board. We had the special of king prawn cocktail, delicious, fresh with plenty of prawns. The mains were all served very hot on hot plates. I had the chicken platter, plenty of different types of chicken…I’ll certainly have it again! We weee too full for pud but it was a lovely place to have a catch up with friends!

Sunday lunch: Food was quick to arrive with tender beef and perfectly cooked vegetables and tasty hot gravy. We also ordered cauliflower cheese which equally tasty. It was a nice portion of food . We shall be going again on a Sunday

Took Saturday lunch in the super, clean and comfortable dining area with good tasty pub grub and staff that went the yards to ensure we remained comfortable and happy. Enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere so much that we took to the bar and chilled late into the evening. The landlady and bar staff couldn't do more to have us feel happy. We will return!

We came here on recommendation and had such a lovely quiet meal here, food was really good, great pub food and the chef popped out once or twice to check we/it was ok and if we wanted anything else. Thanks to Tina the landlady who made us feel super welcome, we sat in the lounge area which was a little quieter but the bar area sounded fun… lovely night we will be back. Thank you
