   Such a shame that the amazing food, fab staff ( for the most part), excellent singer and great ambiance were overshadowed on Father’s Day by the chaos caused by accepting too many bookings. Appreciate they were planning to utilise the tables outside, which could not happen due to rain. All the same, having to wait for our inside table for 30 mins was not appreciated. We were one of the lucky ones. Others, often with young children, waited longer and some walked out. I hope the owners have learned a valuable lesson. If people book outside tables they have to accept that if the weather turns they cannot expect to take a table booked by someone else inside and the plough should not accommodate such requests to avoid loosing money. Final note: the waiting staff, whilst clearly under significant pressure, were fab. I hope they are rewarded for what was no doubt a very stressful shift.

   Loved the food, the service and place overall. Did not like so much the singer and the noise. Could not really talk with our friends which was annoying.

   Food of excellent quality but lacking in quantity...the main courses the same as the starter. It's very much a fine dining menu and price, not a typical gastro pub. The dining room is very pretty decor, which I think attracted diners.....

   Amazing food! Best Sunday Roast I’ve had for a long time! Couldn’t fault any of it! Delicious! Desserts could be better. The Eton Mess was tasty, but tiny and overpriced. Service was great. Table could have been better positioned as felt like we positioned in a walkway between bar and other tables. But staff were great. Will be returning, and hopefully my constructive comments are taken positively.

   Thank you we had a lovely evening. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. It’s a hidden gem and need more places like this in the area .

   Fantastic roast dinner, listening to a pleasant singer. Never rushed us and we were able to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

   My wife and I had experienced a wonderful evening at the Plough. The food was fantastic and the service first class. We look forward to returning to the Plough.
