Service was extremely slow despite enough staff around. Clearly they were more interested in chatting with their mates/ other colleagues than serving guest. We waited along time for food and when we asked about it no one came back to inform us. When the food eventually arrived they had messed up one of the pizzas, no apologies or explanations. I was given the correct one afterwards but still no apology etc. No one check back on us and we had to get someone’s attention to order another round of drinks. We asked for the bill and waited a nearly a half hour to pay because they were all too busy having a little gossip session with their mates/colleagues and kept ignoring us when we tried to get their attention to pay. It wasn’t the experiencing I was expecting! They need to get rid of some of the staff or do something because it was a dreadful time.
Food was fabulous. Excellent service by Elliot. Will be back.
Cold roast had to be sent back for all 4 of us.
Next roast came out and the potatoes were hard and not crispy at all because they had clearly just cooked them after our complaint.
Then we all ordered the crumble and that was cold in the middle and the fruit was hard where it hadn't been cooked long enough.
Overall very disappointing.
We go to The Pinkneys often for drinks and occasionally for food. In this occasion the entire experience was poor. The service was terrible, our order was forgotten, when I eventually chased it it was rushed out and the order was wrong. The main course Prawn linguine was tiny and only had 3 prawns in it, for £23.
The service was not attentive at all and it seemed like the entire staff was preoccupied. A real shame as we usually enjoy visiting this pub.
The best Sunday lunch!
Very pleasant evening out. High quality food (very good meet) and young, inexperienced, but very willing staff who had a good humour. I always like people who are nice to my dog.
A friendly local pub, nice and comfortable inside seating area, good food reasonably priced, just a little slow from order to table so don't go if your short of time.
Lovely pub food, good service and beautiful setting.
Lovely restaurant, very welcoming with a great menu.
Outside or inside is great …fabulous food all freshly cooked with a concise great menu ….would definitely recommend .Friendly attentive staff and owners
As ever great food and drink with excellent serviced in a great environment.
Sunny day so venue extremely busy but we were served quickly and nothing was too much trouble. Food excellent, will definitely go again.
Only ran a small bbq & pizza menu, which we were not made aware of when booking.
No starters or snacks or desserts on offer - just a box of crisps at the bar (and this was on the bank holiday)
Slow to moderate service overall, but still very friendly.
The burger itself was amazing - so that's your saving grace
We have booked a standard table and when arrived we were told no tables available and all tables were outside and order just to be ordered at the bar.
I told the manager why app allowed me to book and he said app (opentable) never work.
We didn’t have dinner.
Had great pizzas - me gluten free and my fellow diner vegan. Nice atmosphere in the garden. Service was friendly and efficient.
Really enjoyed Sunday roast dinner🍽 with a glass of malbec 🍷
I had roast beef which was cooked to perfection, the roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, gravy and vegetables were fantastic too 👌. Very friendly and efficient service and very reasonable priced too !
Will look forward to coming back, thanks guys!
Loved it and will be back soon. Thanks for a lovely meal. Recommend the linguine and lobster !
Lovely food and service, we enjoy coming here :)
Yet again Amazing Sunday Roast, the best in the whole area by a long way!
Delicious wines too.
Thoroughly enjoyed the food and excellent but slowish service; however the meal was almost ruined by constant and very loud barking of several dogs brought in by guests.
Perhaps the restaurant might benefit from a rule about troublesome dogs.
Excellent Food. Nowhere near enough staff meant huge service delays
Really enjoyed our visit to Pinkneys Arms- great locally sourced ingredients, tasty food and good sized portion for our family. Good atmosphere and friendly staff.
Amazing food, beautiful venue and the service was outstanding. Our waiter couldn't do enough for our table, he was really attentive and helped ensure our evening was a delightful experience!
One of the best roast dinners I’ve had in a long time. Excellent service from
The greeting manager
Really enjoyed our experience at Pinkney’s Arms, the food was excellent and the staff very friendly and attentive. Our dog was well looked after too, offering him treats :) Lovely spacious outside area too. Will come back again.
The food here is aways outstanding. Its such a nine col pub. not the cheapest but you get what you pay for!
We had to wait quite a while for a while for our food and it didn't seem overly busy.
We had 2 children with us so was hard to keep them amused while waiting.
But when the food came it was really lovely.
Would go again but next time without the grandchildren
service was poor the staff were all new. The bottom of the pizzas tasted burnt. Very noisy groups of people next to us. Rather expensive
We had a lovely time sitting on the terrace with our friends. The food was very good although a tad expensive, as was the wine. However the presentation and service were both completely excellent and we had a very happy time and planning to return.
Great food but somewhat pricey..
Slow but friendly service although they didn’t appear that busy.
I guess that resulted in the lovely relaxed atmosphere and we weren’t in a hurry.
Great Sunday lunch at Pinkney's Arms. Seating outside on benches is not terribly comfortable unless you have short legs! Service prompt and polite and food tasty.
The Pinkneys arms staff are very helpful and we had a great lunch.
Great for sitting out in the garden. Service and staff super helpful and attentive.
Food was good, but nothing wow.
good food, pub atmosphere, a little on the pricey side for what was sitting in a beer tent, but the good was good
Love the pinkneys arms. Been going there for years. A good standard of everything and probably the best pub in Maidenhead. Great garden.
Lovely outdoor area, food quality was excellent and good service.
Brilliant pub, brilliant food, brilliant drink and brilliant staff. Can't wait for my next visit.
Food was fine and service would have been good had staff been wearing masks as is still legally required
Great staff and atmosphere
