   Booked a dinner table a week in advance forna special occaision and recieved booking confirmation. Showed up on the day to be told that the venue had a wedding on and so my table was not available. We could sit in the bar instead (a very small area at the front of the pub) and only their pizzas were available, not the rest of the menu. We were looking to have a proper dinner so were very dissapointed, and as it was a saturday night then struggled to find somewhere else to go. The man serving at the bar said I should have recieved a phone call that day notifying me, but that a few other tables had also not recieved calls and been showing up. On the day of the booking is still very late notice, as the wedding would have been in the diary for a long time. All in all very dissapointed, have been here a few times but won't be returning after this and a previous occaision where they rushed us off our table to make room for new customers when we had been there for less than an hour. They do not keep their website up to date and no garuntee your table is reserved.

   Good quality food and freshly cooked - though could have been served warmer. Would also question value - £80 for two people on a single course with one glass of wine is chunky Also be good if the team cleared tables rather than stood around chatting - debris everywhere

   Lovely place to eat parking can get a bit tricky but we were lucky as someone was just leaving, food was amazing very tasty the only thing that let it down was the table service, one guy was lovely but the person that delivered our food to our table asked if we wanted condiments and I replied yes please -she then vanished never to be seen again I wandered around trying to find some but to no avail and wanted to sit and eat my food while it was hot. Service was a little slow also as I think they may of had a function going on. A little saddened that I booked for an 18th Birthday and no effort was made to even say happy birthday. Generally though a nice experience

   Tuesday lunch time! Had a lovely meal with my friends. The lady and gent looked after us very well. Very friendly & attentive staff. Food was beautiful! We will be returning!

   Lovely pub with a great garden for the summer. The risotto was very fresh, sadly my friend’s fish & chips were quite dry but he enjoyed it mostly. He was also absolutely floored by the curry sauce, he is good with spice but did not anticipate the huge kick!! Only downside I’d say is warn us when there is no burger available, always a disappointment to go up and order and be told no - warn your guests up front! Other than that had a delightful evening drinking rosé and catching up.

   My wife and I went for Sunday lunch with our two children last weekend. The kids had the children's menu, pizza and chips. The pizzas were frozen and shop bought, but the chips were good though. My wife and I had the "roast" chicken. The chicken breast wasn't roasted, but had clearly been deep fried and was dry as an old boot. I sent mine back after one bite. The young waiter was very good and offered me another meal free of charge, which I didn't take. He took my meal off the bill. All in all, a bit disappointing for such a lovely setting in my local area. I doubt I will be returning as the quality of food doesn't equate to the prices they are asking. Pity, as it's a lovely looking pub, in a lovely area.

   Fathers Day - What a fabulous lunch we all had. We had booked a table for seven of us. Food & service did not disappoint. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We definitely will be coming back for a Sunday lunch again. Thank you team pinkneys :)

   We’ll definitely be returning! Lovely outside area for our 14 month old to be entertained however the food took very long - went for Fathers Day and had the roast. Tasted good but you could tell some things like the potatoes etc had been sitting a while. I think we were the very last people to eat around 4.30pm. We will be back though to try their pizzas which sounded very good

    waited an hour to get the food and when it did arrive all four dishes were cold
