We surprised a friend of ours for his birthday who loves The Pinewood and Whiskey Wednesdays. He's a musician and hasn't been able to go in a while. We all had a blast. Our waiter was great! Made great suggestions and brought out a few extra's for the birthday guy. We will definitely be back in between his shows!

We went to celebrate our 27th wedding aniversary. My daughter recommended it highly as she had been there before on several occasions. Their bar is their strength. Their food is very good and their desserts are excellent. Our waiter Bo was the best.

I met with my Book Club after the Book Festival. I was the only one who had been before. The other four folks were so impressed! They LOVED the Brussels sprouts and grit tots. The pork chop impressed everybody. Every cocktail was a hit. They all left ready to spend more time in Decatur. Seriously, they raved about the place several times throughout the evening. And I felt so happy that I'd picked a great place.

Starting with well made cocktails like the Baronness and tasty starters, our experience was really good. The beet salad, tie ahi tuna poke and crispy Brussels sprouts are not to be missed.

Went to Dinner as my daughter returns to college for another year and we have tried many of the places around Decatur. The place was busy and it it took a little while to seat us. Not too long but the wait staff was not too pleasant. Which might be the style of service they provide. We had drinks which were on the whole well executed with great taste. Note that my drink took several minutes longer than my wife and I had to flag down a waitress to get the drink in the end. The food was good we had mostly the appetizers which again were very well executed as was the chicken and waffles. We also had two great desserts. The only downside is that the wait staff while on the whole competent were not very friendly.

Exceptional food. They accommodated us on an additional person that was not originally booked. Great food from the starters to the main course, to our dessert. We will go back.

The food was good but the drinks are even better. I would describe it as a mishmash of tastefully cooked comfort food and exquisite cocktails.
