Good . A little bit noisy for our taste. Food was great, but hard to talk to each other.
First time here and loved it!
Beautiful place, with great service, drink choices and menu selections!
I had the beef stroganoff, and it was fantastic!!
Can’t wait to return!!
Being new to the area our neighbors gave us the recommendation.
I took my wife for her Birthday and we we're both amazed with everything.
It was a perfect evening to finish off her Special Day.
After having made several attempts to reserve a table during the head of the season with our luck, I was able to get a table last night and there was not sorry it was worth the wait. Everything about this restaurant is superb. Highly recommend it
Excellent experience. Filet was cooked to perfection! Wine was delish! Staff was friendly and welcoming.
It was great . Tremendous value on Monday special
Always great place to eat, drink or be entertained. Went a few times recently. Twice for Comfort Thursday and last night for Filet and Wine. Steak was fine perfectly. Service outstanding. Had the banana pudding dessert. Try it....you'll love it!
Always enjoy catching a show and dinner at The Pines.
Hospitality even out of season! Friday nite Surf and Turf special exceeded expectations! Started with the usual appetizers spicy cauliflower, and the huge fried mozzarella sticks…enough for 4 adult bears! Added the shrimp dim sum which were perfection…I could make a meal of a double order, delicate, tender, spicy melt in your mouth explosion of flavor. Steaks were generous cut filet mignon, fork tender! Paired with Cajun spice shrimp that were firm , chargrilled but not over cooked!
Attended the live cabaret show upstairs where we enjoyed after dinner drinks, coffee and amazing key lime tarts, chocolate peanut butter pie, and the only critique of the night, a dry chocolate cake slice. Dark rich icing but the cake was not appealing. Great service, even backed our reservation up 15 minutes as the traffic was heavy delaying our arrival.
Most enjoyable was the atmosphere of friends and family, unhurried but efficient service and an off season ambiance that assured an enjoyable relaxing evening. A memorable 65th birthday
Unexpectedly fantastic seafood pot pie. Lobster tail, shrimp and halibut in a light, flavorful sauce. (And I rarely eat anything with sauce but this was delicious.). Friendly wait staff and helpful service topped with a cinnamon bourbon drink to warm the evening. Just lovely!
Delicious food, yummy cocktails and excellent service.
Great cocktails(no skimping on alcohol pour), food (using fresh seasonal ingredients) and atmosphere warm and cozy. Wait staff exceptional.
Thursday is now the comfort food menu at The Pines and the new chef nails it. We started with appetizers of the fried brussels sprouts and the crab and artichoke dip and then for my entree I enjoyed the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and (because they were so good) I substituted the fried brussels sprouts for the green beans. I then paired it was a glass of the Bonanza house red table wine. Everything was delicious.
Brandon, our server, told us that it was his second day on the job, but we would have never known it. The service was impeccable.
Come here all the time and have praised it highly! Met friends for comfort night and tried some new dishes unbelievable! The pork dish for $19 was a steal and large enough for two. You can't go wrong at the Pines, it is thee place to eat, drink and socialize in Rehoboth.
Food was delicious as always. A tad too loud with the music coming from the bar.
Amazing service! Jess is great and had everything ordered with perfect timing and she remembered things we liked. They split an entree into 2 dishes as we ordered it as an app and I’ve never seen that done before and it was much appreciated. Food was delicious and def would recommend!
Filet was incredible. Mozzarella Sticks - you’d think why would I order those - were quite good while waiting for a table. Would not get the Butternut Squash Soup (just didn’t have enough flavor for me - would’ve liked more spice or some sweet.) nor would I order the chocolate cake (basic sheet cake, thin icing on top, no pizzazz)
Our waiter, Marty, was awesome! His recommendations for drinks and entrees were spot on! And he gave us a tour of the other venues within the restaurant! A lovely night!
Food was good, nothing special. Service was excellent, nice atmosphere.
Obvious big fans but for good reasons the surf and turf was better than any expensive steakhouse and the service and ambiance is the best in Rehoboth. We keep coming back again and again and so should you!
Great special on Monday night. Delicious Filet with a glass of wine. Filet was cooked just right and very flavorful, wine paired nicely with the filet. A great deal!! Looking forward to trying some other specials on week nights.
What a fabulous experience. The food and drinks were exceptional. Our waitress was wonderful, very personable and professional and had full knowledge of the menu. Will be returning on a regular basis.
Wonderful!!! Food was excellent, our server, Carl, was attentive without being intrusive… altogether a great place to have an excellent meal!
Great service, very friendly and the food was very good!!
A little too loud, but everything else was so great!
Three of us were dining in and one person had a disability and he cannot see very well. The restaurant manager as well as the bar that’s upstairs bartender did an awesome job checking in on us to make sure we are OK. I do recommend going back to this restaurant because of the outstanding work that they have done to make our restaurant experience quite pleasurable.
The beef strogranoff what was amazing.
It was the first night of the fall menu so the wait time for food was a little longer than usual but the service was still very good.
I highly recommend The Pines.
Loved the menu choices. Some very healthy options for those who want, and some more decadence for those who want to indulge. Like the mozzarella sticks, peach cobbler, squash Primavera, and chocolate chip cookie sundae. All were delightful.
Made a reservation on on open table for 9 pm. There were additional time slots available at 9:15 as well. When we got to the restaurant we were told the kitchen was closed
Steak night is a hit! The 8 ounce filet was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Green beans were good and mashed potatoes could’ve been warmer. The house Cabernet was more than adequate. We were seated promptly and ordered immediately but the place was packed snd it took 35 minutes for the entree to arrive.
WOW! GREAT first experience! Super nice accommodating bartender! Delicious drinks & food! AMAZING Filet Mignon dinner special! Cooked to perfection! We’ll definitely recommend & hopefully be back often! Thanks for a great night!
Great for a fun night out, good food, service, and atmosphere
We always have a great time at the Pines and their Monday night steak special is an unbelievable experience
Octopus was rubbery though dish was tasty! House wine, Bonanza, was very good!
Food was amazing. Not sure they were fully staffed. Noticed one group leave after waiting to be serviced. Another group moved to the bar area to get serviced.
ATTITUDE!!! From the moment we arrived, the host expressed so much disdain that we almost left. Seriously. We were told upon entering "Sorry, we're only taking reservations!" When we pointed out that we HAD a reservation, we were told, "Well, I can only seat you over there" pointing to a very small table in the back. When we pointed out that there were other tables open, he REALLY copped attitude and told us in a very snotty tone that "those tables are taken." We offered to sit outside on the porch, where there tables available. He told us he couldn't do that because it was raining. We pointed out that we had just arrived and it had stopped raining, and, besides, the porch is covered and there were other diners out there.
Once seated, our waiter was flighty. Not rude, no attitude, but flighty. Several minutes after he took our order, he returned to tell me that the appetizer I had ordered was now sold out. He did not bring with him a menu so that I could select another option. so I asked for one.
The food was rather bland. It needed some spicing up in some way. Not heat, just flavor. My dish also came with a cold risotto. He did tell me that it was cold, but I assumed (silly me!) that that meant it would come prepared with perhaps a mango salsa or parsley or something to give it more flavor. But no, just cold risotto. That is rather difficult to eat, so I didn't.
1st timers. They were very friendly and accommodating. Service was excellent! They staff is so welcoming and friendly! Everything from cocktails to food was delicious and so reasonably priced! We will definitely be back, can't wait to try their specials during the week, we also want to see a show!! Highly recommend this restaurant!!
Was good but not special
