Located in downtown Rehoboth Beach on Baltimore Avenue, The Pines American Bistro delivers a standout dining experience with bold American cuisine, craft cocktails, and award-winning hospitality. Executive Chef Kyle Berman—whose background includes three Michelin Star and James Beard-recognized kitchens—crafts a full farm-to-table menu in the dining room and a lite fare menu upstairs in the Treehouse Lounge. The Pines is part of Second Block Hospitality, named Delaware’s Restaurateurs of the Year and a 2024 & 2025 OpenTable Diner’s Choice Award winner. Wednesday Wines at The Pines featuring HB Wine Merchants is in the Treehouse Lounge and will be hosting by wine expert Mike Riego. Mike will be walking you through 4 Tastings. Usually, two whites and two reds he carefully selected to highlight which are unique and flavorful to a specific area in Europe. Executive Chef will also prepare four tastings to compliment each selected wine to balance your experience. HB Wine Merchants is a wholesale producer, importer, and marketer of fine wines in the United States. They have their wines in distribution in 46 states by a hand chosen group of fine wine oriented distributors. They represent more than 60 growers of estate-bottled wines in Burgundy, Chablis, the Rhône, Loire Valley and Southern France as well as some of the best wines available from Italy, Germany, Spain, New Zealand and Canada. Tickets are non-refundable. Be kind and give them to friends if you cannot attend.

Food was good; service good but waitress was stretched thin. Noise level on out-of-season Saturday evening was beyond loud. If the weather is decent, sit on the porch -- much quieter. We had an issue with our order and the manager was very understanding and accommodating.

First time dining at The Pines and we were so disappointed. Shrimp Fra Diovalo was lacking in heat- actually there was no spicy flavor at all and the black pasta was mushy. Gem salad was delicious. Truffle Mac and cheese was tasteless and room temperature. Dry little attention from our waitress after our order was taken. Requested iced tea but was told that there was none available. We did receive the 25% discount but only after mentioning it when our check arrived without the promised discount. Wanted to love this restaurant but left knowing that we would never return or recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Portuguese Wine Tasting tonight! Five in our group & we all agreed. Wines were very good but the food pairings were fantastic! Chef outdid himself on each course & we already booked for the next Wine Wednesday!!! Great job to the staff & all involved!

Tonight's Wine Tasting was a great experience! The food was phenomenal and helped improve the overall experience of good, inexpensive wines. The servers were excellent, too! My first wine tasting pairing at the Pines and would definitely participate again!

A wine tasting and bites. I have to say the creativity of the Chef is fantastic!!! All were awesome but the wild boar....OUTSTANDING!!!!!!! The rep (I am horrible with names, Christine???) was Pines rep. And she displayed herself as if she owned the place, such was her concern with with our like or dislike of the food and drink. The wine rep was just simply great! A full and thorough explanation of the wines presented was welcome! This place is a go Go GO !!!!!

Salmon and French onion soup and oysters were outstanding as well as our martini bartender was fantastic. Made the best most delicious martinis. Chastity was knowledgeable, professional, and polite, great Waite staff. we were greeted when we checked by a most wonderful gentleman

We love the Pines and go often. The one thing we all agreed on at our most recent visit is that the menu could use more seafood entrees. Our favorites are the gem ricotta salad and the burgers. The seasonal cocktails are always good.

The Tuesday night special of Fried Chicken with two sides and half price cocktails and Beer is too good to believe. Such a deal!!!! The food was excellent. loved everything. Had a couple really. great cocktails. I am sold!!
