   Delicious creative food. Fantastic atmosphere with live band. Everyone super friendly. Prompt service despite the place being rammed. Had a fantastic evening. Wished we lived closer.

   Had a wonderful meal at the Pigs Nose today with the family. Great food, excellent service and live band to boot. Have already booked for Easter Sunday lunch.

   Had the most amazing time at the Pigs Nose. The food was stupendous, the staff super friendly and really efficient. Drinks were great, just overall a great dining experience 😋.

   Lovely, family run country pub with serving The Best Sunday lunches, crispiest roast potatoes, large Yorkshire puds and tasty gravy! Rustic and traditional in essence. The best place to go if you want to take a step away from every day life, and enjoy good food, drink and a friendly atmosphere. A little off the beaten track, bit oh, so worth it!

   A jolly and unusual pub! Food pretty good and pleasant staff. Rather noisy. We had to wait a long time for food to arrive which was not so good for a group with hungry children. If we had been told would be a long wait we would have ordered nibbles! Staters looked very good and could be offered as main course size

We always aim to give guests a heads-up during busy periods, and we’ll make sure we’re better at that going forward.    A recent favourable newspaper review of The Pig’s Nose prompted this visit and the hour long journey was worth it. Unassuming but with really lovely service, smashing food and great ambiance. How many traditional pubs serve soda bread with anchovy butter and delicious fried padron peppers? It is more than a traditional pub. It was busy as traditional pubs often are,but in a good way although I do wonder how it copes in the holiday season?

   Thank you so much for making the trip — we’re really glad the review tempted you down to see us, and even more glad it was worth the journey! We love being rooted in tradition but also surprising people with something a bit different, so it's lovely to hear you enjoyed the soda bread, anchovy butter and padron peppers — they’re fast becoming favourites. We do get lively in the holiday season, but we’ve got a great team who know how to handle the bustle (and keep the anchovy butter flowing!).     Fabulous cosy pub, the staff were super friendly and the food was delicious, lovely fresh fish, great local beers and lovely desserts. We ate there 3 nights and especially enjoyed the valentines night 3 course menu. Would recommend and will definitely return Dawn & Gerry
